Following error randomly missing

I am using CVI 8 and NI Motion 7.4 with a stepper motor (closed loop with an optical coder) controlled by a 7358 board (there are up to 6 motor drives running at the same time but I had the same problem without parallelizing the operations).
Here is what might happen sometimes : the axis is mecanically blocked so a following error is detected, and the axis is killed. This is perfectly fine. Now, sometimes, when I use the function "flex_read_axis_status_rtn" to get the status of the following error bit, it is off... Does anyone have a clue why a following error would be missed while the axis was still properly killed?
This does not happen frequently but I have seen this several times already, and it it quite important for me to solve this because my test could pass successfully although the product under test might be defect.

I still have my problem, but it might be slightly different from what I described above (although the result is the same for me), so here is a description of what I do :
1) I get the current position
2) I set the target to this position minus 3 rotations (the motor should be mecanically blocked after only one rotation)
3) I check if the move is complete
4) I check if there was a following error (the following error parameter is set to less than 5% of one rotation)
The change between my previous tests and the latest ones is that I know there is no more "unwanted" mechanical block. Bus still sometimes, the motor turns only a few steps (or not at all sometimes), and stops (but the axis is not killed) without any followwing error, as if the destination was reached properly.
I also tried to change the board (we have two running), but I still have the same problem with the other one.
Any clue, someone?

My Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 has been running perfectly fine for over a year now. However, today I went to create a pdf. and I received the following error message:
Missing PDFMaker Files
Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?
So I said yes, and then restarted my computer. That didn't fix it.
I uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Professional and re-installed it. That didn't fix it.
I really have no idea what to do. It's extremely frustrating because I have CS2 and the phone support people said they couldn't help me because I don't have the newer version. I'm looking for any sort of solution to this problem because it makes this program virtually useless.

Chrisok i just got mine working. you have 7 i have 8, but its still worth a try. here are the steps i took. i hope this helps good luck
i did this in excel, so ill use excel as the application, otherwise its outlook or word or whatever your application name is ok oh i have 07 office
- open excel
- click the office button (the big yellow button at the top left)
- click excel options button (at the bottom)
- click add ins on the left side dialog box
- do one of the following
- if pdfmoutlook or acrobat pdfmaker office COM addin is not listed, choose COM Add ins form the manage pop-up menu (at the bottom) and click go
- if pdfmoutlook or acrobat pdfmaker office COM addin is listed under Disabled Application Addin, select disabled items from the manage pop up menu and click go
- select pdfmoutlook or acrobat pdfmaker office COM addin and click ok
- restart your application (again i was in excel)
i choose acrobat pdfmaker not outlook
i googled
activate PDFMaker in Microsaoft Office and clicked on the one that says
acrobat 9 pro extended convert a file using pdf maker

CS3 Error Msg: Missing PDFMaker Files...
Hi,
I installed CS3 and when I tried to use Acrobat Pro I got the following error message:
" Missing PDFMaker Files. Do you want to run in the repair mode?"
If I say "yes" nothing happens. If I say "no" nothing happens. What can I do to use my software?

KathyAs Bill stated, you can print to PDF using the Adobe PDF printer. No "interactive" features with this. Just page content painted to the PDF.
Or, with Office 2010, try the Save As PDF capability.
If you desire the use of PDFMaker you most change to Acrobat X. Update it to 3.1.0.
Acrobat X (3.1.0) PDFMaker supports Office 2010 64-bit.

n.b,. Don't know, but, there may be possible issues with Acrobat X integration (if any) with the other applications of CS3.

I am getting the following error when attempting to deliver my iBooks Author book package via iTunes Producer: "
Unable to authenticate the package: B_SPACE_NUTRITION.itmsp
ERROR ITMS-9000: "OPS/ibooks.ncx(5): element "content" not allowed yet; missing required element "navLabel"" at Book (MZItmspBookPackage)"
I understand that there's something wrong with the TOC file (.ncx), but I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Every section of the TOC is labeled, so not sure why the navLabel issue is happenening.

After digging through .ibooks code for hours and still not seeing the problem, I decided to reach out to one of the Apple epub conversion affiliates in iTunes Connect. They said they could repair the file without a problem, started working on it, only to come back a week later and say they couldn't work on .ibooks or .iba files yet.
So, in complete frustration, I decided to transfer my content page by page from the blank template I downloaded from a vendor online to one of the "textbook" templates in IBA. This was a long process as I had to unlock and clear out the formatting of the template. But, once that was done and content was transferred over, all was good. I submitted/delivered the same content and preview book within the new template and it went right through the first time (all metadata was exactly the same as well).
Now, the iBookstore approval waiting process begins!

All of a sudden my iTunes stopped working, and I get the following error messages:
1. the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
and
2. iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126).
Now I've checked the forums and followed the advice of uninstalling all Apple applications, rebooting, and reinstalling iTunes.
This is not working. I've tried installing as Administrator but doesn't make any difference at all.
There must be a way to fix this? I'm not a tech geek but I want to avoid having to take my laptop back to factory settings to sort this out.
ThanksClick here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

When opening iTunes, I get the following error message: "The registry setting used by the iTunes drivers for importing an burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes."
I have reinstalled iTunes twice and still get the message.

When connecting to Itunes, it shows the following error: registry settings used by itunes drivers for importing and burning cds are missing.
I have edited the registery, downloaded the Gear drivers, uninstalled and installed itunes, and the error still appears.
What else can I do. Cannot connect any of our iphones or ipods to itunes because of this error.I have edited the registery,
We'd better have a closer look at the keys to see what's going on.
Can you post a screenshot of the contents of the key you've been editing, please? Include all of the regedit screen, including the left-hand column. Save the screenshot to an image file, and insert the image file in a reply by clicking the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window. -
Error " Data missing for the entry check while creating a new waste code
Hi all, While setting a new Waste code I get the error " Data missing for the entry check, correction:". while filling the NAM- WASTECOCAT - LER item.
This sould look for the catalog's name included in the phrase set but for some reason it doesn't find it giving me this error.
I am changing original Characteristics, phrase set, classes, and value assignment type. Just to have my own estructure with Znames for all of them.
I have also change the enviroment parameter "WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG" with the name of my phrase set.
I have checked everything several times watching for typos or looking for a missing step.
I have even tried including my new Z's characteristics in the classe and living the original SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG. (changing the enviroment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG to SAP_EHS_1024_001_WASTE_CATALOG) and it works.
I will like to change this characteristic by Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
Phrase set to Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG.
enviroment parameter WAM_PHRSET_WACATLG= Z_EHS_WA_WASTE_CATALOG
After matching up the master data It should work fine but I might be missing something to get it running ok.

I keep getting the following error message when I try to update my itunes, "There is a problem with this windows installer package. Aprogram run as part of the set up did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
Yes, I had found a similar solution also. I'm running XP Pro, SP3. I went Control Panels/ Add-Remove programmes/apple software update/ change/ repair. Then run the 10.5 exe.
While the programme updated from version 8 of iTunes, my new iTunes is now a mess. Not all of my music was in the same folder previously but it all showed up on iTunes. Now many albums have been left out, some have only a few tracks and some have two copies of some tracks as well as having other tracks missing. I haven't begun to work on that. -

That said, we are not facing any specific problem but we would like to find symptom of this repeating error message on Intune Portal . We would appreciate to get any thoughts about this case.
