For about 2 weeks I have been unable to leave feedback on ebay. Firefox brings up login page but will not accept password. I am having the same problem with my yahoo email. It will not accept my passwords, so I have to use IE to login to these accounts.

On yahoo email, it accepted my login id, but not password. This started on one account about two weeks ago. Today when I tried to login to another yahoo email, which worked yesterday, but it would not accept my password on this account.
I bought some items on ebay and wanted to leave feedback. When I clicked on the leave feedback button a sign in window appeared, this should not have happened, when I tried to sign in, it would not accept my password. I called ebay and was told they have had many complaints from customers using firefox when trying to leave feedback. The help desk suggested I try with Internet Explorer, I did, and it worked perfectly.
I have been using firefox for a long time and really do not want to go back to IE, but when I cannot sign into my accounts, I can't, so I will have to use IE.
As far as I know, no new programs have been installed on this computer.

You can't. FaceTime has been permanently removed from your phone, there is no way to add it back. Next time, buy your phone in India.

Firefox 3.6.8 on Windows XP crashes each time after it is opened. It remains open for about 1 minute and closes regardless of the page it is on. Windows Expl is having the same problem. I have a submitted a crash report each time w/same email.

I have sent a crash report each time with my hotmail address. That should include the specifics you are looking for. I am sending this email from personal laptop so I do not have those specifics at this time.
Using ccleaner and Macafee I have run scans and can detect no virus or malware.

This happened after I was hacked.

If you delete that account from your iPad, all messages from it will be removed. You can then go back into Settings, then Mail, Contacts, Calendars and 'Add Account' to add it back onto your iPad.

As you don't say what suggestion it is that you've tried, I don't know whether you mean for having notifications muted, so you may already have tried the following.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Which secure mode are you using with your wireless network - WEP or WPA?
Have you tried forgetting this network on your iPad, and/or resetting network settings on your iPad? Both will require rejoining the network and the latter will require rejoining every wi-fi network your iPad has access to when returning within range of the network.

Try making a new Apple ID? I don't really understand what you mean.. Make a new apple ID, log in with that one and then when you are on your phone log out of it and THEN log in our old ID? If you still can't log in the old one then it's most probably a bug or something.. Anyway.. Good luck with your problem!!

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

This has increased in frequency over the past two months. We've checked with the various firms, and their other clients are not having problems. Some pdfs open but with a lot of missing content and strange formatting, others won't open at all. There are different error messaged depending upon the doc. Some are regarding the fonts, for example "can't extract the embedded font...." Others are "insufficient data" errors. There are more, but for purposes of keeping this short, I won't include them. Another unrelated issue is that we are having trouble printing excel files to pdf. The files end up with bad formatting. I've worked with adobe "chat" support, our IT consultants with no resolution. I also haven't found any similar "known issue" online Would very much appreciate any assistance. Thank you

The font embedding can be a problem if not done and you are trying to view the PDF and do not have the font on your machine. Acrobat will often try to find a replacement, but it is not always a good choice. Sometimes the "Use Local Fonts" button can be changed in state to resolve some of the viewing issues.
If you are trying to copy or export info, then it is important that you have the fonts on your system. Otherwise, the message you are getting about embedded fonts would not be showing up.
As for Excel formatting, be sure that the Adobe PDF printer is selected in the printer screen before you look for the paging and formatting of the file. In most OFFICE programs, if you change the printer the application will reflow the document to best match the printer (called "using printer metrics"). So check before you create the PDF that the layout is correct.

Hello imac-users, my problem is: the superdrive accepts normal CDs, DVDs and is also burning them - for example music from itunes. But today I inserted 2 program DVDs - photoshop elements / Adobe and ms office 2011 for mac - and the superdrive does not accept them. After some seconds of running and noise, the DVDs are ejected - also no icon for the DVD on the desctop. So I think, it has something to do with OS X and not with the superdrive. Does anybody having the same problem - and an idea for a solution?

Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!
