Forms11g calling a secure url

Hi I am using Oracle11g Forms, and I have a push button to call a secure url like this
web.show_document('https://somethingsecure.com/pdf.request?SYSTEM_ID=XYZ&DOCUMENT_ID=909090','_blank');
When I push button inside form, it opens a new browser window, but it asks to enter username and password to do authentication, which somehow I dont want users to enter/know username and password. How to set authentication inside forms 11g?
Please help.

web.show_document('https://somethingsecure.com/pdf.request?SYSTEM_ID=XYZ&DOCUMENT_ID=909090','_blank');
This call is in no way related to Oracle Forms. Try calling manually the same URL by opening a browser. I hope the behavior will be same ..

  • How to call a secure web service via XAI Sender in CC&B

    Hi All,
                I want to a call a secure web service from CC&B through out bound message. I have configured the calling  WSDL in XAI Sender. The wevservice is secured one.I tried to call it by configuring user name and password in XAI sender context.But still i am not able to call the service.
    Can anybody help me how to over come this issue ??
    I have cretaed the same post under utilities,but i am not able reply it.
    I am using HTTPSNDR  as XAI class.
    Thanx in advance.
    Regards
    sunil

    Are you getting any errors? What type of XAI Class are you using?
    One thing I've noticed is that if you are making changes to the XAI Sender you will have to restart the environment before the changes can take effect.
    Also, if you are using RTHTTPSNDR as XAI Class you may have to include the HTTP Method - Post in the context.
    Hope this helps.

  • Browser based InfoPath form deployed on a Claims based Web Application calling a Secure Web Service via Data Connection

    hi,
    We have a Browser based InfoPath Form deployed on a Claims based Web Application. We are tyring to call WCF Services that are secure using Certificates via the Data Connections on Infopath Form.
    Earlier we used to get the Data in BCS External List via the WCF Services and the Data Connections used to get the Data from the BCS External List. Due to Performance Issues, we want to remove the BCS External List and straightaway call the secure WCF Services
    via the Data Connections.
    Have anyone implemented this scenario.
    Thanks
    Ram
    Thanks Ram

    Hi Ram,
    As these are browser based InfoPath forms, you have two options
    1) Deploy as sandboxed forms
    In this case you have to create a secure store application id and then set the credentials for that account.
    You then have to export the data connection to Data connections library and modify the .udcx file to utilize the newly created secure store application id.
    This may sometime give issues related to sandboxed code service. You have to give permissions on the secure store for the user account which the sandboxed code service is running.
    2) Deploy as administrator approved forms
    This would be ideal way of doing things as you have full control over the web request if you write code behind InfoPath forms.
    3) Deploy as a Hybrid solution
    a) Write a full trust proxy solutions (extend SPProxyOperation class and override execute method) and make the web request call inside this and return the response
    b) Invoke above operation from the sandboxed InfoPath form's code behind by SPUtility.RegisteredProxyOperation(four part assembly name, operation args)
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,

  • CRM5.2 UI-Call a dynamic URL on button click

    Hi all,
               My requirement is to call a dynamic url on the click of a button in the overview page. I have added a custom button in  the method  IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS , and the related code in do_handle_event.I have created a custom method for the button event. I have enhanced a custom controller and created an attribute.In the custom method created for the button event, I have written the code for retrieving the parameters to be passed to the url.
    In the layout of the view associated with the display view , I have written the following code for calling the URL in a new window.
    <%
    DATA: lr_cuco_EMA TYPE REF TO ZL_BP_CONT_BPCONT_IMPL,
          lv_url TYPE string,
          lv_url1 type string,
          lv_count type i.
      lr_cuco_EMA ?= controller->get_custom_controller( 'ZBP_CONT/BPCONT' ).
      check lr_cuco_EMA is bound.
      if lr_cuco_EMA->gv_VALUE is not initial.
      if lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT IS NOT INITIAL.
      clear lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT.
      endif.
      LV_URL = lr_cuco_EMA->gv_VALUE.
      Concatenate 'http:/' LV_URL  into LV_URL1.
      Concatenate '"http:/' LV_URL '"' into LV_URL.
        lv_count = lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT mod '2'.
        if lv_count Ne 0.
      lv_url = lv_url1.
    endif.
      %>
         <scrpt language="Javascript">
            window.open(<%= lv_url%>).focus();
          </script>
       <%
             lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT = lr_cuco_EMA->gv_COUNT + 1.
             clear lr_cuco_EMA->gv_value.
             clear lv_count.
             clear lv_url.
             clear lv_url1.
             ENDIF.
    %>
    But here my URl is getting called alternate times.If I do not write the code  by using the variable GV_COUNT the url is getting called only the first time of the button click  and to call the URL again you need to navigate back to the search page and again back to the overview page and click on the button.
    Can anyone help me regarding this? I want the URL to be called in a new page on every button click.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Chandana

    Hi Nisha,
    The crux of your issue here is that you want to call the event triggered with onClick before calling the event triggered on onClientClick. This can be achieved by the following code in the function called on the onClientClick.
    function fn_button()
               htmlbSL(this,2,'b_row_selection:onInputProcessing()');
               window.open("new_page",target="BLANK");
    Here, fn_button is the javascript function called on button click, and b_row_selection is the event triggered on the onClick event of row selection.
    Try this out and let us know if it works for you.

    Saurabh

  • Calling a Secure (SSL) Webservice

    I'm working on an HTMLDB app that needs to call a secure (as in SSL) webservice. If I was hand-coding this in PL/SQL I'd pass the wallet location and password in my calls to UTL_HTTP.REQUEST(...) etc. I assume that somewhere under the covers HTMLDB is calling those same routines.
    I'd like to use the HTMLDB WebService Tools if possible, but is there anyway to make them SSL aware? Can I set the wallet location, password for HTMLDB to go look for, or is this just not supported at this time?
    Thanks
    (By the way: HTMLDB 2.0 on Oracle 10gR1)

    Hi Anil,
       You can call ur webservice in many ways.One which is the most basic is
       create an object of the method which u want to call e.g:
        RequsetXXXXX obj = new RequestXXXXX();
       wdCOntext.curentRequestXXXXXElement().bind(obj);
       obj._setUser(username);
       obj._setPassword(pasword);
      obj.execute();
    please reward points if it helps.

  • Getting deserialization error when calling a secured webservice

    Hi All,
    I am getting deserialization error: java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement when I am calling my secured web service through a proxy client.
    I have secured my webservice using a keystore, I had created using keytool . In key store I have created keys using RSA algorithm.
    when I am doing all this for a webservice in which input is a string variable, then it is working.
    But if I am passing a document then it is giving me ERROR OWS-04045 Malformed Request Message: deserialization error: java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement .
    Below is the code of java class, I have exposed as webservice :

    thanks in advance

    Mike,
    I have tried by validating xml, again it is giving same error.
    when I am not securing my webservice then it is working fine.
    The problem is coming only when i am securing my webservice.

  • How to call the secured EJB from timer ejb timedout method.

    Hi All,
    I have a couple of questions on EJB 3.1 Timer Service.
    1. How to call the secured EJB (annotated @RolesAllowed) from Timer EJB @Timeout Method?
    2. What's the default role/principal with which the Timer @Timeout Method gets called?
    Please let me know any info regarding the same.
    Thanks,
    Suresh

    I'd start here:
    http://ant.apache.org/manual/index.html
    If that doesn't help, go to the table of contents and start poking around. You don't need to read the whole thing front to back, but if you're not willing to spend some time researching and reading, you're not going to get very far.

  • A prgram called "my security shield keeps installing itself" i can't get rid of it

    I recently installed Homestead Website software. As soon as the software was installed a program called "my security shield" keeps giving pop-ups that say viruses are trying to affect email lists, and everything else. I clicked on the button that said "remove viruses" expecting to get a window asking if i want to pay and download an anti virus program. What i get is an error page saying the program cannot gain access to the internet. I delete the program from my "all Programs" screen but can't find it in my list of programs when i go to add or remove programs in the control panel.

    Thank you TonyE, I found the removal guide that you gave to be very useful. I already had malwarebytes but I couldn't open it because of my security shield. I ran rkill and it stopped the virus then I ran malwarebytes. It found some viruses and prompted me to restart the computer. I did as it said but my security shield was still there. Then I found this page http://deletemalware.blogspot.com/2010/08/my-security-shield-removal-instructions.html and they said that I can use superantispyware or spyware doctor to remove my security shield. I ran full system scan with superantispyware. It reported some infections as well. And I think it removed the virus because the my security shield doesn't pop up any more.

  • Calling wrong BSP url in CRM PCUI

    Hey
    Im using CRM 4.0 PCUI 60.2 and issue with an event on the Quotation BSP. In this application you have the opportunity to print/preview an quotation. If i press this button, a new window opens with following URL:
    http://myhost:8003/sap/bc/bsp/sap/ml_preview.do?
    The problem is that this url is incorrect and i get an BSP error. The correct URL should be http://myhost:8003/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ml_preview/ml_preview.do?
    How can i change this url? should i do it in the config of the PCUI ? In that case HOW? or is it possible to  make an alias in the transaction SICF?
    Best Regards

    Hi,
    we've already done a rework of the marketing attributes screen by using the technique I've described in my Weblog <a href="/people/gregor.wolf3/blog/2005/05/27/use-crm-pcui-html-viewer-to-call-a-custom-url">Use CRM PCUI HTML viewer to call a custom URL</a>. But it has one drawback: You can't use the Save button of the PC-UI applicaiton. You have to provide your own. But the usability enhanchement is rearly great.

  • [OSB] Calling a secured proxy from another secured proxy

    Hi,
    I would like to call a secured proxy from another secured proxy. However, the call fails.
    I'm making a call from a Java stand alone Web Service client. The client uses policy "oracle/wss11_message_protection_client_policy".
    The call is made to a proxy secured with a "oracle/wss11_x509_token_with_message_protection_service_policy". The secured proxy routes to a non secured proxy, which does not process WSS Security Header. The non-secured proxy then routes to a non-secured business service. The call is a success.
    Then I add a policy to the second proxy, say "oracle/log_policy". Also I set the value of "Process WS-Security Header" to yes. The call fails.
    I'm getting
    java.lang.NullPointerException
         at oracle.wsm.agent.handler.WSMEngineInvoker.createWsmMessageContextFromInvokerContext(WSMEngineInvoker.java:733)
    in the osb logs.
    I have tried adding an empty WSS Security Header in the Soa headers before calling the second proxy. It didn't change anything.
    Do you have any ideas?
    I have also came up with a super simplified sitution when this error comes up. This happens when I'm calling a pass through proxy (no policy, process WSS security header set to no). Then when this proxy calls a secured proxy with "oracle/log_policy", the call results in this error. Why??
    Here is the OSB output when the problem occurs:

  • Problem with automatic logout between secure and non-secure urls

    On my business catalyst page the user login page is located on a non secure url (our site's domain and not worldsecuresystems). When a user is logged in and then views a page on a secure url (i.e. a page to purchase a subscription to a secure zone) it does not retain their login cookie and it appears they have been logged out. This also creates a problem where I cannot pre populate the secure zone purchase form with a user's information based on their account details. Is there a way to retain have both domains recognize the user is logged in to allow the user to freely pass between these domains without having to login twice? I was considering putting the login page on the secure domain and using relative urls for all my links but for some reason some of my pages appear corrupt when viewed on the worldsecuresystems domain so I'd like to avoid this method. Any help would be appreciated.

    Make sure the referrer paramter is correctly set on the form.
    This is the default BC action. But remember the {module_siteurl} will return the host they are currently on. So if this is used on a secure page you'll need to use {module_sitehost} instead
    action="{module_secureurl}/ZoneProcess.aspx?ZoneID=-1&amp;Referrer={module_siteUrl,true,true}&amp;OID={module_oid}&amp;OTYPE={module_otype}">

  • How to make HTTP call to encoded URL?

    Hi expert,
    I need to make an HTTP call to this url submitted by
    <form action='http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/BLAST/Blast.cgi' enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" method="POST" NAME="FormatForm" TARGET="Blast_Results_for_25530"><script src="../../../blastcgi.js"></script>
    if i use the action url in the form tag, it does not work. it looks like it is encoded by the enctype=.... is it possible to connect to this url? thanks.

    Do the first POST to Blast.cgi, with URL encoded parameters.
    Get the Refresh header from the response.
    Split the Refresh header into wait_time and next_url (find the ; and take two substrings)
    currentThread.wait(wait_time * 1000);
    next_url.openConnection().connect();
    Either you'll get your response, or you'll be told to wait longer (I don't know the details of Blast.cgi, you might need to loop).
