Freeze 1st two columns in OAF Page

Hi,
I have one requirement on OAF page customization. I have 10 columns displaying on OA Page. Since having 10 columns on page, I have to scroll down right to see last column and vice versa. the requirement is to Freeze 1st two columns, even if we scroll let to right or right to left so that we can track the records using 1st two columns. Please update the forum.
Thanks in Advance
Mangesh

It may be possible by raw text bean. Otherwise instead of OAF page use a jsp for this requirement, where u can use ur custom CSS and simple html table to represent the data.

Is there any way to print my presentation slides in two columns on a page? thanks

You can do this through the Print dialog when you go to print your slides. In the dialog, click the dropdown menu that says "Copies and Pages", and choose
"Keynote". Here you can use the "Handout" settings to put multiple slides on a page. This option will leave some space beside the slides, where the notes would go.
Alternatively, in the same dropdown menu, you can choose "Layout". In the panel that appears, you can set your output to print multiple pages on a single sheet of paper, and arrange them how you like. If you are set to print slides and not handouts, this method will print multiple slides, without spaces for notes, on a single sheet.

  • Importing two-column text from Pages

I've produced several successful calendars and books using the iPhoto service in the past couple of years, but one thing has me defeated.
So far, I have used Pages to create text, then style it the way I want, and finally cut and paste it into the book project. It works perfectly. So far, so good.
Now I want to do two-column text pages, instead of a full-width single-column layout, but I can't find a way to do it.
I have tried exporting the two-column set out of Pages as a pdf, then using the Import command in iPhoto, but it is greyed out in the navigation window. No go.
    Any ideas?

Do a Print to PDF of the Pages layout and select the Send PDF to iPhoto option. That will create a jpg image of the page which can be added to a full page layout in the Book. Here are a couple of crude examples of that from a Word document: Portrait oriented - Landscape oriented.
Of course my example is single column but with a two column layout in Pages and in the landscape mode it would work just as well.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • Concatenate two Columns in OAF

    Dear Friends ,
I have a OAF Page developed with advanced table , i would like to concatenate first two
columns . is there any way that i can achieve this ?
Note : I am using a sear without entity Object ( VO based Search )
    Please share your thoughts .
    Thanks in Advance ,
    Keerthi.k

There are multiple ways to do it.
    Fully Declarative Way
    1. Add transient variable to your VO.
Expand Attributes in VO Editor, select the newly created attribute, Check 'selected in query' checkbox.
in Query Column, give some alias, enter expression as <column1> || <column2>
    Fully Programmatic Way
    1. Add transient variable to your VO.
    2. Capture the event in CO...pass the control to AM...from AM pass the control to VOImpl.
    3. Loop thru VO using an iterator.
    4. create a method in VORowImp to concatenate the two column and populate into the attribute created in step 1 (Use populateAttribute(.., ..) so that the VORow is not dirtied)
    5. for every row, call the method created in step 4.

  • Who columns for OAF pages

IS there anything equivalent to Forms' "Help -> Record History" in OAF Pages for end users to find the current records' Who column values?

    Niranjan,
Forms and OAF pages belong to different techstack and therefore there are many technical differences in the two. Here you can view the vo query using about this page or use diagnostics mode to see existing logs of OAF pages.

    Hi John,
My page is not a part of a task flow. The whole app is an Admin app comprising of multiple individual pages navigated using Menu.
I have tried to run this page individually on my local machine as well as when deployed on the WLS server. The behavior is the same.
    Kindly advice,
    Thanks,

  • Making a two column for text page

Lightroom may have a great photo editing set of capabilities, but text soooo leaves a lot to be desired.  Why isn't there a template in the book module for two columns of text on a page.  It seems like a no-brainer.  Does anyone have a workaround??  thanks

For lots of issues that LR can't handle, I just use PS make the page I want, flatten it as jpg and import to LR.
For text, even PS isn't really great, so I just use Word or Pages, copy the text into a blank page and flatten and save as jpg.
Probably not how you WANT to work, but it does get the job done.
I'll follow this thread just in case someone comes up with a better answer though :-)
    Cheers,
    Tom

  • How do I divide a page into 4, two rows and two columns?Dividing pages into 4?

I am trying to create calling cards and need to divide a4 page into four.
    Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help. I actually was able to divide into 4 sections in landscape layout by resizing 4 equal text boxes 4.25x5.50 with .25 " margins. I have not created a coupon yet. Will this format work or not. Also once I have created the coupon is there away to copy paste it with out losing the formatting. The last time I tried to do that it lost the formatting. Thanks again!

  • Hide a column (Includes Tax) on iExpense (create expense report) OAF Page .

    Hi All,
I am having small issue and I have never worked on OAF before. I have a requirement where I need to hide a column on OAF page.
When logged into iExpense home page, and click Create Expense Report
    1.     Log into iExpenses in Oracle Applications.
         (N) iExpenses > Expenses
    2.     In the Shortcuts below the Expenses Home tab, click Create Expense Report.
    3.     Enter the general information in the respective fields, such as purpose, expense cost center, approver, reimbursement currency, and expense template. Indicate if you have foreign currency receipts.
    4.     Click Next.
    5.     Enter the expense information: date, receipt amount, expense type, justification, and details.
In the above page, one Check box option called (Includes Tax) column is there. I need to Hide this column from that page and that too only for a particular ORG.
The main reason behind this is, that checkbox is always checked and users sometimes while creating expense report, unchecking that checkbox which is creating some problems in the tax side calculations.
Any idea of how we can chieve this.
    Help Appreciated.
    Thanks

If you are on the personalization page, you should be able to the page structure. It will all the page components. Find your relevant table, expand it and personalize the column you need to hide.

  • Is there any way to print 6 Keynote slides in 2 columns on a page?

I am using Keynote '08 and am trying to create a pdf file with 6 slides on each page, on two columns, in portrait format. Does anybody know how to do this?

Print them as whole slides, and use a print driver that via the "Layout" pane lets you output them in two columns of three pages... Since each "page" is a slide, you'll end up with the handout you want. I've done this lots of times. It's easy.

  • Help with two columns

So I have two columns on my page and when I type the left column spills over into the right column. But this is not what I want to happen. I want the text that I type on the left to stay on the left and the text on the right to stay on the right. Please Help!

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
I'd use a text box for one column or the other or text boxes for both. You can then link the left box on one page to the left box on the next page.
Another option is to use a two-column table, but I think text boxes is easier.

  • Dynamic layout of table in OAF page

Ex: If i search a job in OAF page, depending on the job family, the results table displays the number of columns. (My number of rows is constant but the columns changes)
Please let me know if anyone worked on it and if it can be achieved using PPR.
    Your help will be appreciated.

  • Super-impose an image over two columns

    Hello,
I know how to create a two columns within a page using <div>. However, what is the best way to create a structure such that the image is super-imposed over the two columns and float the text around the image, which is on a different level (see attached). Please advise which rules should I use in CSS3 to make that happen.
    Thanks

This is how I've done it in the past, it's a pretty decent fake float:center...

  • I have a one-column table in pages.  Each cell has text and a number separated by a colon.  Can I automatically make it two column with everything to the right of the colon in the second column?

I have a one-column table in pages.  Each cell has text and a number separated by a colon.  Can I automatically make it two column with everything to the right of the colon in the second column?

Here's another way that is pretty quick to do.
    Formula in Column B is:
    =LEFT(A, FIND(":", A))
    Formula in Column C is:
    =RIGHT(A, LEN(A)-FIND(":", A))
You can eliminate the colon from the result in column B by writing:
    =LEFT(A, FIND(":", A)-1)
Once you do the conversion, you should freeze the result by Selecting columns B and C and then Command-C, Edit > Paste Values.

    Jerry
