FUNCTION 'CALL_FB08' without export parameter reversal doc nr

In FUNCTION 'CALL_FB08' (SE37) there is no export parameter for the created reversal document. Any idea for another FM that would provide the created reversal document?

if you want to know the created reversal document , then check system params ( sy-msgv1,sy-msgv2...etc ) to know the posted reversal document.

I am using a HR related badi for one validation. As per my requirement, In BADI "HRECM00_CONSISTENCY" i need to perform validations.
If some mismatch in the condition, then i will pass error message and warning messages.
But in BADI there is no export parameter to give the error message to Portal.
This messages should be displayed in HR MSS tab in compensation tool managed. I have one parameter in Import with "TYPE REF"(message handler). I am not sure whether that field will help or not.
Please clarify this.
If it is not could you please suggest any alternate way to populate the message to portal.

RFC function module without RETURN parameter thows error in XI. Please help

Hi Experts,
I have a File to RFC scenario in XI. The RFC function module that I am using at the receiving end does not have "RETURN" parameter. So when I test my scenario I get "RETURN" parameter not found error on SXMB_MONI.
So is it mandatory that RFC function module must have RETURN parameter when used in XI?
Is there any work around to avoid the error without changing the RFC function module?

In my senario the QOS is best effort because it is a Sync.
But the function module is sync in nature as it is returning a parameter called SO_Docs and Ret_Msg. The Ret_Msg contains the error info but it not of BAPIRET2 type.
So is there any way to avoid this error when my QOS is best effort?

Fetch data from table(ET_) which is exporting parameter of function module

Hi,
I m new to ABAP programming.
I have to develop a smartform that has to be filled in with fields from few tables.
These tables have the naming convention ET_<XXX> (i.e. exporting parameter of function module).
I m not able to directly view its contents in se11 or use select query for it.
I have a report program which i can execute to view these parameter names.
Now, how do i fetch data from these parameters/tables and pass it from my driver program to smartform??

Receiver Type Function Module in SWE2 use of export parameter.

i am trying to understand the underlying concept in following things:(neednot to say i have searched alot and read sap documentation already).
In event type linkage table say i have an entry for BOR -> AFVC_PM.
As per sap Documentation says all these FM will trigger in following way.
1 Check Function Module (to place any validations/checks)
2 Receiver Type Function Module ()
3 Receiver Function Module.

if i am understanding this right, in this FM receiver type will be decided .
i have placed BREAK-POINT in this FM and passing value WS90000024 (Workflow with simple mail step) in export parameter RECTYPE.
after everything executed successfully why i can't see that mail in my inbox.

Hi,
function module is fixed and reuse component..
you will not decide the export parameter is during runtime ..
instead you can assign the structure having field name and field value..
so the export paramater is now having field name and field value you can use this in the programm by
field name..

I am looking for a program that can handel the import and export of palm doc Files that can convert them to to either txt or RTF files for Vista 32, running Palm Desktop 7.1.

Ok, you need to clean uninstall Palm desktop 6.2. Install Palm desktop 4.1.4 and download and install documents to go version 6.
Here are the clean uninstall instructioins for Vista.
You should first make a copy of your data to have just in case something
happens. You can find your data files by going to Start --> Documents -->
Palm OS Desktop. Highlight your Palm Desktop username and right click and
copy. Then go to your PC desktop right click on a blank spot and select paste.
If this is the first time you are installing Palm desktop and encountering a problem, skip the previous step.
Now you want to uninstall Palm Desktop and remove everything that has to do
with Palm Desktop from your computer.
Go to the following locations on the PC and delete the folders listed below.
C:\Program Files\Palm or Palm One
C:\Users\[Vista Login Name]\appdata\local\virtualstore\Program Files\Palm or
PalmOne
C:\Users\[Vista Login Name]\appdata
*Note you may need to view hidden folders to get to appdata. To do that go
into your control panel and open folder options. Go to view tab and uncheck
hide hidden files.
Once this is done you will need to delete some registry keys from your PC Operating System.
Word of warning, going here and deleting the wrong thing can cause your PC
from starting up, crashing and deletion of programs and data. If you feel
you are unsure of yourself, see if you have a friend that can help you or a
PC technician that you can pay to help you. This procedure will show them everything they need to delete. To make sure we have a good copy of the current registry, we need to do a backup of the Registry.
Go to start on the PC, in the search field type "regedit.exe" without quotes.
Highlight COMPUTER, go to File --> Export. Should pop up with a Save As box.
Current location is fine, should be in My Documents or save to a location you will remember. In the file name on the bottom type "backup[todaysdate]" i.e. backup07072008. Next, the hard part.
The easiest way to make sure your working with the correct key, highlight the key i.e. palm quick install, and press delete on your keyboard. It will ask you, are you sure. Say yes. Do the same thing for all keys below.
If you make a mistake, stop what you are doing. And call a PC technician.
BUT do not turn off your computer.

How to use select-options in the function module of import parameter ?

Same thing is working after implementing in a program .

Hope this is exactly what you want to know.
So you create a structure simliar to mine but the low an high whould be your component
then a table type and then include that in the BAPI.
Then pass your select-option value to this BAPI when you call this BAPI in the program

Problem with Function returned without value -

all i am having a problem w/ jdev passing the values. when hardcoded it works. when i remove to pass the 2 vals for doc_type and doc_num the params are being passed to the impl but the String sql = " BEGIN :5 := scotts_test_proc.get_log(:1, :2, :3, :4 ); END; "; is not sending the values to the pkg. to verify i am getting data i created a table to store the data being passed/retrieved by function. i am getting the log_pieces posted when hard coded so i know that works. but when i try to pass the doc_type and doc_num it errors w/ function returend without value . am i passing the params correctly from co to impl to func to get the return l0g_piece. thats for the help

sorry I am BW.
Import- & Export-Parameter for a Table in and out of an Function Modul.
I want to import a table into a Function Module, change it and export it again.
How do I have to define the Import- and Export- Parameters in the FM ?
The table looks looks this:
DATA: zvpshub_tab TYPE SORTED TABLE OF /bic/pzvpshub WITH UNIQUE KEY
/bic/zvpshub objvers /bic/zvpsoursy INITIAL SIZE 0.

in SE11 I defined a datatype of Type Structure: ZVPSHUB_ROW.
in SE11 I defiend a datatype of Type Tabletype: ZVPSHUB_TAB,
bases on Rowtype ZVPSHUB_ROW.
in SE 80 I creates an FM with a CHANGEING Parameter referencing ZVPSHUB_TAB:
FUNCTION ZVP_SHUB_TAB_LOAD.

*" VALUE(SHUB_TAB) TYPE ZVPSHUB_TAB
in RSA1 in BW in the Startroutine of the Upload Rules in defined the table:
DATA:shub_tab TYPE zvpshub_tab.
in RSA1 in BW in the Startroutine of the Upload Rules in defined the table:
DATA:shub_tab TYPE zvpshub_tab.
in RSA1 in BW in the Startroutine i called the FM
CALL FUNCTION 'ZVP_SHUB_TAB_LOAD'
 CHANGING
 shub_tab = shub_tab.
and it works ..

Regarding export parameter in rule

Hi everbody,
i have created rule and i am using this rule in User decision step... for determining agents, when i excuted the worklfow it's working perfectly..
i am using deadline montoring(Modeled) so here i want to pass the agent in sdend mal step to receive the deadline montoring message.. so i have created one container but export parameter checkbox has been disabled...
please let me know whether i can't able to create container wirh export parameter in rule if yes then how to pass the value from rule to send mail step....
