Function modules in scripts and sf

hi experts
in sap standard print prog, they use FUNCTION MODULES to
get data from database. how to search for these function modules
in se37.

There is no standard defined way to know them.
You can either just go and search with some key fields in SE37.
OR, you can check any known standard program for the functionality you are looking for.
OR, you can use a BAPI if existing, for that just explore Tcode BAPI.

Hi, Dear
In XI 3.0 we are tyring to setup SAPconnect;
1 Step; Create RFC connection for Mlunxsnd file, anyway!!! we download thease file and create RFC connection; fine working no error
2 Step: Create Nodes T-code SCOT => connection INT => and support address type like Internet its just show only "PDF, HTM, TXT" thats it its not show some others format
3. Step; When check email T-code SOST Getting an error messages: "Connot process message in node, parameters cannot be converted"
4. In R3 RPD and Others system when I check format its ok its show some others format which is support to be such as "ALI, OBJ, OTF, SCR, URL" ...
How may install these format in XI 3.0
Please Advice I will be really appriciated

Hi all,
I need 2 function modules for date and time. when we pass current data(sy-datum) and current time (sy-uzeit) into function modules, shoud get date in dd/mm/yyyy or dd.mm.yyyy and time in HH:MM:SS formats.

You can either use the standard way of locking by using :
data:lv_varkey          TYPE rstable-varkey.
concatenate functional_location sy-mandt into lv_varkey .
*   Lock table
    CALL FUNCTION 'ENQUEUE_E_TABLEE'
      EXPORTING
        mode_rstable   = 'E'
        tabname        = 'IFLOS'
        varkey         = lv_varkey
      EXCEPTIONS
        foreign_lock   = 1
        system_failure = 2
        OTHERS         = 3.
*     Unlock table
      CALL FUNCTION 'DEQUEUE_E_TABLEE'
        EXPORTING
          mode_rstable = 'E'
          tabname      = 'IFLOS'
          varkey       = lv_varkey.
Or,
As mentioned above create a lock object via transaction SE11.
Go to transaction se11:
--> Enter lock object name e.g EZ_IFLOS
--> Click on create
--> Enter description
--> Click on tables tab
--> Enter 'IFLOS' as table name
--> select lock mode
--. click on save and activate.
2 function modules will be created as DEQUEUE_EZ_IFLOS and ENQUEUE_EZ_IFLOS .

Function module to create and change delivery

Hi,
I need to create a function module to create and change delivery using the same function module.
For this I want to call the bapi's BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS
and BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE.
So what are the variables I need to declare in source code of my function module.
Can anybody please suggest me.

DUE_DATE - Delivery creation date selected as december 12
9999 unless specified.

Call ABAP function module from script?

Hi,
I have an ABAP function module, which works fine when I call it in a transformation.
Since I don't need to execute this function for each record but rather for each file I process, I would like to move the call from the DataFlow to a script in the WorkFlow. When I click on the 'functions' button the ABAP FM is available in my SAP Datastore, so I drag and drop it into my script. I also make sure to populate all required variables.
There are no error messages or warning when I check my job definition.
When I execute it, I get the following RFC error:
Function call <xxx ( abcd ) > failed, due to error <150413>: <RFC CallReceive exception <FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND>.>.
Is it just not possible to call an RFC enabled function module in SAP from a script or am I doing something wrong here?

Could you please let me know how I can call an abap function module from a transformation? (from abap xslt program). I know how we can call methods of a class from the transformations, but no idea how we can call function modules. Any suggestions or a sample code snippet towards this will be very useful for me.

For open the form open form should be there other wise we can't run the script.

Start-form is optional and opne_form and lose_form is manditory FMs. same as write_form also.
wat happends if we dont use close_form?
If you don't use close_form then while running the script you will get error.

Look via SE11 lock objects, use F4 for tables MAR*, the best for your request is on MARC table with object EMMARCS, so use FM ENQUEUE_EMMARCS and DEQUEUE_EMMARCS.

Function Module for Excise and VAT Calculation

Dear All,
I required one Function module for calculation of Excise % and amount of Invoice Verification Document.
We are use TAXINN tax procedure. I am try to make Purchases Register where we required the Break up of Full tax amount as basic excise duty, Education Cess, S&H Education Cess and VAT Amount.

Hi,
Locks are usually appliend on Tables. So you could find the table names affecting.
Then you could goto SE11 and n Lock objects search for table name
Once you identify the lock object. Display. Goto->Lock Modules.
You will get 2 module names one for enqueue and 1 for dequeue.
e.g. Lock object EBKK_ACCNT.
and FMs are DEQUEUE_EBKK_ACCNT and ENQUEUE_EBKK_ACCNT

How to createWebservice from Functional Module inECC system and how to test

i have one functional module in backend system i.e BAPI_GL_ACC_GETLIST. now i want to create a Webservice from the above functional module. once the webservice is ready in ECC system then how do we access in webdynpro thru model. i want to test the same webservice in ECC system itself, what is the procedure??
can any body send the clear steps on starting from create of webservice and till to access the same in webdynpro.
if we want to access from webdynpro thru model for the same webservice which did in ECC system, is it require to deploy on J2ee engine by creating the same webservice or we can access that directly in Webdynpro??
can you please tell me clear steps on the same rather than documents??
