Eric,
Sometimes WLS/WLCS can be very picky about the order of items in the
class
path. Check and make sure the sp1 jar is the first item in your path
order.
Let me know if you are still struggling...

Finally got an answer ot my own question. This error occurs when you are
using sp1 on wlcs 2.0, instead of 2.0.1. I was given the wrong version of
the wlcs by bea. but, I downloaded it off the website and all is well.
