Sevral Pogo games not loading after update to OS X 10.7.

I'm having the exact same problem since the last Safari update (5.1 on July 25) , even though I'm still running OSX 10.6.8
Pogo has always been a bit touchy on my Mac, now my favorite games won't load at all.

I had reset the firefox, but it doesn't fix my problem. I had checked same page in other browsers, like Google Chrome & Internet Explorer. I didnot get problem in that browser, The problem coming in firefox browser only.
Firefox is my best web browser, Please help me to fix this problem.

Thank you for the advice, I do run Kaspersky and will disable it to see if this will work and report back so that if there is others that are experiencing the same problem can also bennefit from this advice

Help! Aspyr Games Not Loading After Updating To Mac OS X 10.4.11

I can't seem to get my Sims 2 game to load after installing the latest update. It will bounce once in the dock then disappear.
I called Aspyr and they said it was a problem with Apple's update, not their game(s) or company.
I was told to see if I could update to 10.5.5 and that this should fix things. How would I do that, and first of all, would that be a good idea? Is it even possible? I'm (clearly) running Tiger.
I'm very confused because I haven't been able to connect to the internet for about a month and finally installed the Apple updates and then I started having all these problems. I'm not sure what to do!

Run Disk Utility and repair permissions on your drive. If that doesn't work, follow the more extensive instructions for repairing your drive.
As you have observed, you are running Tiger and the company told you to upgrade to Leopard, which I agree isn't very helpful unless you want to upgrade (is it worth it?).

Could you change these three settings:
(1) Disable Firefox's hardware graphics acceleration. You usually need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Pogo Games not loading

I wish someone can tell me why it is I have such trouble loading Pogo Bridge Games. The Applets start loading and then I get various errors. I empty caches , log out and in again, and sometimes after many tries I am able to get in. At other times I give up in frustration. This has only happened since I upgraded to Leopard.

I have the same problem. Sometimes the games load fine, other times I get the "not enough memory" error or the "page could not load error." Sometimes the game loads fine & plays for a while then I get the error. I did find the article below thru a link on Pogo's website, but my Mac already had these settings. And the article doesn't mention the 32 bit versus 64 bit setting. So I don't know which is the best option (although it doesn't seem to matter). Very frustrating, somebody please help!!

To resolve this issue, you need Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later, and Java 2 SE 5.0 Release 3, both of which are available via Software Update.
Java 2 SE 5.0 Release 3 is not enabled by default, so you will need to follow these steps to enable it:
Quit Safari.
Open the Java Preferences application, which is located here:
/Applications/Utilities/Java/J2SE 5.0/
In the "Java Applet Runtime Settings" panel, switch from using J2SE 1.4.2 to J2SE 5.0.
In the "Java Application Runtime Settings" panel, drag J2SE 5.0 to the top of the list (above J2SE 1.4.2).
Click Save.
With Java 2 SE 5.0 Release 3 enabled, games should behave as expected at www.pogo.com.

Game Not loading/Ejecting - No online services.

Hey guys, this is my first time posting on the forums. Recently I had my PS4 replaced because it would not even start. Anyhow, they sent me a replacement and for the last 2 weeks has been working perfectly. However this afternoon I turned it on from rest mode and went to continue playing The Order 1886. The game was already in the system, as it started it opened and then just didn't do anything. it froze with the Order 1886 logo. I was able to quit the application easily, I then tried to eject the disc and nothing happened, so I decided to shut down the console, as it finally shut down (took a little while longer than normal) it spat the disc out. So I turned back on and tried again. Same thing happened. I then tried it with a different game - Batman Arkham Knight which began to work, however I didn't go full into the game. It got a few screens in before I decided to quit and try The Order again, however Arkham Knight then wouldn't eject so I had to do the shut down again and it spat it out. I then thought maybe it had something to do with not having installed the 2.57 update after I downloaded it, so I installed it and still not fixed. I noticed my netflix app had a little padlock icon in the bottom right corner of it as well and I tried to open it and it just sat there with a Playstation loading screen. Should be noted that netflix is what I was doing last time the ps4 was on. After all this I did a rebuild database which didn't seem to change anything and I also can't sign in. It just loads for a bit them times out. My router and everything seems to be working fine, I reset it even and all other devices in the house are working fine off of it. Hopefully someone can help out and have an easy/simple fix for this. I don't want to be without a PS4 for another few weeks again.

I was just able to play Far Cry 4 fine.
Loaded, and was able to play and eject the disc even.
Online services still not working, anyone know if the PSN is down?
I'm going to try The Order 1886 again now and see if it'll work.

From the last bit it looks like I'm missing a Japanese font or character set. From my end -- as the stupid user -- how can I fix this? If the charset is the problem, can I find out which charset is missing and install it?
I have Windows MCE and Java Plug-in 1.6.0_02. I've googled around for UnsupportedCharsetException and can't find anything useful to me. Thanks.

Oh right! We didn't solve your problem for you so we must be a bunch of losers who have no idea. Gee nobody has ranted and raved like that before. Try getting some new material.

Facebook games not loading...

I'm having trouble with FP loading facebook games. I had the problem a couple weeks ago when I was using Google Chrome and I followed the instructions and disabled the PPAPI and it worked temporarily but after a week or so I started having the problems again so I uninstalled Chrome and was using Internet Explorer and it was working for a few days but I downloaded an update for Adobe it stopped again so I have re-installed Google Chrome. I have tried uninstalling Adobe and re-installing. I have followed all the help instructions on both this site and Google Chrome but with no luck obviously. The only other thing I can think of is uninstalling the latest version of FlashPlayer and downloading an older version? Any ideas?Please help!

Ok, are there any Chrome extensions that you are using that might conflict here? In addition, I'd try clearing your browser cache to see if that helps.

I cannot "like" or comment on Facebook statuses. Frontierville game not loading completely. Doesn't always go where it should when clicking links in Facebook like pictures, etc.

It's a glitch with facebook. All you can do is wait for FB to fix it or find a work around like third party apps that might work better

Im having problems with my pogo.com games not loading, I know it has something to do with Java but dont have a clue as to what i can do. I am absolutely lost when it comes to java. Can anyone help me? My games never load.

How come when i logg in to facebook it will load, but when i go into games like farmville it does not load, but the games will load with internet explorer?

i play games on face book, like farmville, frontierville, it will load the main page that shows all your friends and things that have been posted, but when i click on farmville to actually go into my farm it will not load, it says if it don't load in 10 seconds, update your player, i have tried that and it still don't load..... but i can go out of firefox and use internet explorer and the games will load... can you help me fix this, i use fire fox foe school work in college and would like to use it playing games as well.

Try using the Facebook app instead of Safari for viewing Facebook content.

Game center not loading my profile

Game center app on the ipad just says loading and spins never loads my profile and now some of my other games do not load.

It sounds like your Game Center app is not loading correctly. I would start by logging out of Game Center in the settings:
Go to Settings > Game Center, where you can:
Sign out (tap your Apple ID)
closing the running apps on your phone:

A game that used to load in old browser does not load in Firefox, despite installing new version of the Adobe Flash player as instructed?

I used to have Internet Explorer as the browser on my laptop but had loads of problems. I installed Firefox as I had been told that it was more efficient. I play several application games within Facebook and one of them - Treasure Island Adventure Game - does not load whatsoever. It states if game does not load within 10 seconds to upgrade my version of the Adobe Flash player. I did that and re-started my laptop and the problem was not solved. I even deleted the application then loaded it up but it still did not make any difference.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can also check the settings for Firefox in your security software (firewall, anti-virus) to make sure that they aren't blocking content.

Slow DL/UL Speeds, Pages not loading, and inability to play games online

I noticed bad connection speeds on Wednesday and called tech support. They sent a technician out who replaced the modem and did some work on the lines. Long story short, my speeds are still poor, pages are not loading, and I am unable to play computer games without lag so significiant that playing becomes frustrating. This has been 5 days of awful connection (Thursday through Sunday I was without wireless because the tech support agents were not helpful).
I am really fed up with the way that Verizon has handled this issue. They have been very good in the past, but this situation has left me in a situation where I might have to cancel service since what is being provided is insufficient. Any help with this would be great, since I would like to give Verizon one last chance before I go look for a new provider (I have called tech support 5-6 times, tried their chat service, and also sent an email to customer service)

If the following things are true:
#1 You did not follow the advice in http://www.dslreports.com/faq/13600
#2 You did not change the LAN IP of the Westell (still at 192.168.1.1)
#3 You changed the LAN IP of the Linksys so it's LAN IP does not start with 192.168.1 (for example 192.168.2.1)
#4 The WAN port of the RJ-45 WAN port router is connected to the modem.
...Then
#1 Visit http://192.168.1.1/ for me and do the following:
a) If you see a Blue and White Westell page, mouse over Troubleshooting, go to DSL, and choose Transceiver Statistics. Copy and Paste the information on that page.
b) If using the Red and Black Firmware: Go to System Monitoring > Advanced Monitors > Transceiver Statistics. Copy and Paste the information on that page.
c) Try visiting http://192.168.1.1/transtat.htm which is a direct link to the Stats on older modems.
d) If you need a Username and Password, try the following:

admin/Serial Number
By Serial Number, I don't mean type in the words Serial Number. I mean find and type in the serial number found on the bottom of this router.
If you followed the advice in that FAQ, then I need more info from you:
#1 Does your Linksys have offical Linksys firmware or third party firmware?
#2 If the Linksys has third party firmware, which one?
For example DD-WRT.
#3 While I know your Linksys has a built in switch, do you have a switch that is not part of a router?
#4 Do any of your computers have at least two NICs and one of the NICs is wired?
#5 Do you know how to manually setup a Static IP on your computer?
#6 What kind of connection does your Linksys handle?
For a Verzion DSL connection, as far as I know - they only offer:
a) PPPoE
OR
b) DHCP (before setting the modem combo not to handle the public IP by folllowing that FAQ, the modem combo was set to Bridge-Routed Bridge-DHCP Client Enabled)
OR
c) Static IP.
#7 Does your Linksys have at least two RJ-45 LAN ports not occupied / not in use / nothing connected ?
