Gathering information on which users have changed data in tables

hi,
Have a 9.2.0.7 database. today someone made a change to some tables. Is it possible to track which user did this.
Statspack is not running. I understand that logminer will be able to show me the data changes (I think) but what about the user?

Is there a way to restrict which users can enter data in particular fields in a list item entry form?
We are using a SharePoint Foundation 2013 list and calendar to manage vacation time. We need to restrict non-supervisor users users from entering a value in a certain field in the vacation request form.
Here is how the system works now:
1. Employees complete the vacation request form (which creates a list item)
2. An email is sent to their supervisor to either approve or decline the request
3. Approved requests are automatically entered onto the vacation calendar
We have restricted the list so that only supervisors can edit items (the pending vacation requests). The problem is that all users can mark their own requests as approved when they fill out the request form in the first place. Is there a way to restrict
which users can enter data in particular fields on a list item entry form?

Thanks for the suggestion. We ended up 1) hiding the approval column and 2) creating a second list, workflow, etc. The user no longer sees the approval column when filling out the form. Requests are now submitted to list A. Workflow #1 copies the request
to List B, then deletes the item from List A. Once the request is added to List B, Workflow #2 emails the user that the request has been received and emails the supervisor that a request needs to be approved. Only supervisors have editing permissions on List
B. Approved requests are automatically added to the vacation calendar (the calendar view of List B).

Enable user to change date at runtime

Hi,
My requirement is to enable users to change date ( expiration date in my case) in bex report.
Can anyone suggest an approach for the same.

changing any data after the report is executed will not have any effect since if you are running the report again all the data will be refreshed.
in your case the date field cannot be changed in the report,
else let me know if you are asking if the user will be able to change the date value in the variable screen of the report.

Which users have read this document?

Hi all,
We are implementing the SAP EP 6 KM SP 14 system and I was wondering if there is some standard functionality available to see which users have read a specified document or which documents where read by a specified user.
I looked at the reporting functionality but couldn't find it... maybe some log file?
All I need is the relationship "user x read document y" or vice versa. If I can find this somewhere I could make my own script to put it in a nice overview.

Thanks, you helped me to understand why this simple question is somewhat more complicated.
So there is no standard functionality available to see which user has read a specific document because of the overhead created by such a feature. A report on demand would be the best answer to this problem but is not available out-of-the-box.
I've enough information to explain what we'll have to do when we need this feature after all (we are evaluating the KM system).

If you are trying to create a table in a schema other than your own, you must have the CREATE ANY TABLE system privilege.

User Status change date

Dear All
For an ABAP report , i need to find the table names for date and time of change in the User Status for the Maintenance Order. ( for example from INPR to RETN)
I have tried JEST and CRM_JEST tables but couldn't found the correct result.

Take the object number OBJNR and go to table JCDS
Field Status STAT starting with 'E' i.e., your user status.
You also have time/date fields there.

hi,
in component controller create a method save, on that read the node that containing the user name and password into itab using the code wizard.now write code to insert itab to the dbtable of ur choice. save the method and activate .
now go to ur view, create a button.. on action of that call the method in the comp_controller.

Welcome to the Apple community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

Hello Gurus,
Is there any way to track the history of which users logged in to DB at what time etc?
Like if a DB has 4 users say user_1, user_2, user_3 and user_4. Is there way to get the details of when any of these have logged on to DB?
I suppose Oracle may be storing the history in some base tables.

I want to hold change data information.
For example I have table student and one row is inserted.
Then somebody else changed the name of the student name and phone number.
I want to hold the changed columns when an update query is executed.
I looked at change data capture but I think it is about data warehouses and there are 2 databases in that case.
I do not want to write triggers for all tables.
I looked at fine grained auditing but I can take the update statement only, I do not know how can I find the changed columns, column's last data and new data.
How can I do it? Which topic should I research?
