Generate XSL for File to mail interface

HI there,
Can somebody please tell me how to write xsl for the file to mail interface.
I am getting only payload in the file and I want to convert that payload into xml so that I can map in PI.
I tried with FCC but it doesn't work so the only option is via XSL mapping or JAVA mapping but unfortunately I don't know any of them, so can somebody please help me and write XSL for me if possible.

The below mentioned do not seems to be difficult using FCC.
In FCC mention following parameters. And provide required structure as message type in content conversion paramter.
Recordset Structure : row,*
row.fieldNames: payload
row.fieldSeparator: 'nl'
row.endSeparator: 'nl'

You can use Oracle JDeveloper to general XSL against WSDL or some XML tool like XML Spy. There are lots of XSL tools available to do this (some embedded in Eclipse we well)

Suggessions required for File----XI----Idoc Interface

Dear All,
I have developed File-XIIdoc Interface and works fine.
Query: When the Source application is trying to write the data into file, XI needs to wait until it completes
Once the writing is completed then only XI has to pickup the file from Source location.
If XI is not checking this check point, File adapter is picking up the file in the middle of the data writing itself.
Please suggest me your thoughts and experience on this

Hi Suman,
For writing a module please check the blog and articles in SDN.
The module logic should be as follows:
1. it should read and store intermeidiately the size & filenam of all files present in the folder.
2. do a wait of say 30 sec in the module (by sleep or any other such waiting command of java).
3. Then recheck the size of only those files read in step one (don;t read entire files present in folder now as some new files may have been created in this 30 seconds sleep time)
4. If the file size changes don't do anything else send the content to PI and /archivethe file (should be done inside the module code)
5. Keep the file sender channel in Test mode (as the module will do the necessary archival/deletion)

I have the mail contenent in the flat file, so i want to send this flat file to my Gmail account through the XI system. How can i do that.
Please give me some links or information related to this. What interface we need to take for file and Mail, How we need to do the mapping and all.

Hi SAP Guru's,
I want to know how to handle File to Mail interface with only payload in the text file.
I am only getting this in the file

and I want to transform the structure like this to perform mapping otherwise mapping won't work.

Not needed at all.
Proxy are used when integrating with a SAP system and in the case of a file to mail scenario all you need is a sendr file adapter and receivr mail adapter and a mail server in the same netwrok as you XI server.

Generate xml source file for Oracle Order Capture Print Quote

Hi,
I am new to xml and need to work on creating templates for Print Quote.
I am trying to generate the xml source file for which I enabled the report in system administrator and set the output to XML and assigned to Quoting Reports responsiblity. I then assigned XML Report Publisher to the same responsiblity.
I ran the report (Print Quote) and then I am trying to run the XML Report Publisher but I cannot get the request id in the list of values.
I am able to generate xml source file for other reports like Printed Purchase Order etc.,
The view output for the (Print Quote) report is as follows:

<ASOPQTER />
How do I get the xml source file? Or are there seeded templates that I can use to create more templates? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ravi

Hi, I am in the same position - did this issue ever ger resolved by anyone. I have done a few XMLP reports successfully now using the Word add-in, but customising the Quote output differs from other standard reports.
If you look at the data definition for Quote it is a 'dummy' definition and has no XML file attached. Does anyone know how I can get the XML format for the report output?
Also the template uses XSL-FO ?!?!?! rather than RTF - not sure how to work with this, the Oracle docs are not very helpful in this regard either.
Has anyone successfully managed to customise the Quote print report? Many thanks,

Generate and send Excel format file by mail in bakground.

Hi fellows, i have a requirement, which is to generate an excel file in background and send it attached by e-mail. This file have many characteristics like Freeze pane, Auto filters, and some other format characteristics, One of the ways for achieving this kind of characteristics is using OLE or Desktop Office Integration, but both run in foreground. Other way i found is formatting the excel using XML and then at the moment of sending it by mail, changing extension for xls, but the problem is that it occupies too much space, i imagine cause it is raw xml, for example for a file for 1,000 records and 14 columns generates a file of 1.6Mb which is not like generating the same file using OLE or DOI (24Kb).
I would like to know if there is a way to use an excel component or another way that takes less space for generating the file with format and also send it by e-mail in background??

is 1.6 MB the smallest size you can generate, did you remove every optional tag?
XLSX format is a compressed XML format valid since office 2007. Maybe you can try to generate it? (I don't exactly know which ZIP algorithm it requires, SAP can compress using the ZLIB Compression Library)
You may also attach a Windows server to SAP via RFC. You should create an RFC server. You may have a look at this [sdn article - Communication to Presentation Server in Background Mode|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/9831750a-0801-0010-1d9e-f8c64efb2bd2] for some clues about running an RFC server. I guess you could use a VB script on the server.

Quick look not working for office files from mail

I installed the new Microsoft Powerpoint on my ipad to check it out. I didn't really like it so I uninstalled it. Now when I am in mail and try to view a Powerpoint presention (or any other office file), quick look opens with just the name and size of the file rather than letting me view the file. I am assuming installing Powerpoint somehow disabled Quick View for those files. How do I fix this? I really need to be able to read office files from Mail on my ipad!!

It sounds like you may have 2 different programs that support quicklook differently. I suspect the .doc files are different formats that are using one or the other application.
A quick test - select a file with the full preview. Get info on it in the Finder (File > Get Info) see what application it is set to open with by default. I suspect this will be TextEdit or MS Word. Compare this to a file that has no preview in quicklook. Change over the default application to the other application and see if the preview appears.
My understanding is that the software has to be aware of quick look to parse the document and create the preview. It could be that one of the softwares needs an update, or is too old to support quicklook.
you should be able to see the version number by opening the application and using the About menu under the Application menu. Post them here if the above doesn't work.
You may also compare the 'Kind' in the info dialog, it could be that they are slightly different formats. Opening and saving may generate the previews (keep the originals if you do this!)

JSPs are compiled into servlets automatically and those classes are stored in WEB-INF/classes folder. Servlet engine handles servlets.

Error for Generating a log file

Two files (header and item) are expected from the hungarian bank for each payement.
It's possible to generate two outgoing files for one pmt method using DMEE tree? If yes, can you tell me how?
If not, there is an other solution? Use a classic program (copy and adaptation) for example?

Are you sure you need separate files file header and items.
Usually both header and items are placed in the same file. Please reconfirm or get the formats from the Bank.

How to generate an XML file for an animation of IK armature

Can someone please tell me how to generate an XML file for an animation of IK armature.
I have a 5 keyframe/16 frame animation of a human character made up of a series of moveiclip symbols that is animated with an IK armature. I need the XML information from the animation.
When I go to Commands > Export Motion XML I get the error message "There is more than one object on frame 1" and then nothing happens.

I hope that's not the case. I want to write to adobe about it. I think it's a great feature and it functions really well even though it is not a very developed IK tool. My biggest issue with it is ouput options and integration with motion tweens.
I have seen a lot of examples of animators using it online, just no one talked about output. I just feel it hasn't been developed. It can generate a sprite sheet but only for a single pose frame of the animation, and not all the key frames or pose tweens. I find that functionality quite odd, as if adobe just forgot about IK when added in sprite sheets, etc. and the reason it half works is just an accident.
