Generating a CRM Custom Transaction into a BSP pages

Hi everybody,
sorry I have posted in web as general forum, probably this is the exact forum to post my question.
In our CRM we have developed a custom transaction.
Now, we would like to view the transaction through a BSP page and after we would like to link the BSP page into our Enterprise Portal.
Are there any program in CRM on line to build a BSP page starting from a Custom Transaction??
Can you suggest me any tips or any documentation to do this???
Thank's a lot.

Hi Antonio,
what's about the way I've described in my Weblog <a href="/people/gregor.wolf3/blog/2005/05/27/use-crm-pcui-html-viewer-to-call-a-custom-url CRM PCUI HTML viewer to call a custom URL</a>?

  • Embedding JavaScript rendered controls into a BSP page

    Hello,
    I want to add a JavaScript rendered grid control from the Ext JS framework into a tab of a BSP application.
    It looks however that the layout management code behind BSP (it has to manage its tab container somehow)
    interferes with the JavaScript of the Ext JS library.
    My question is how to embed such a non-trivial JavaScript software into a BSP page without interfereing with the internals of the BSP rendering engine.

    Now in more detail:
    I am talking of adding a sophisticated grid control, which itself is implemented with the Ext JS JavaScript framework.
    Here is a simple grid of that kind:
      [http://www.sencha.com/deploy/dev/examples/grid/array-grid.html]
    To give you an impression of the amount and complexity of the code, here is the user code which calls the Ext JS framework:
      [http://www.sencha.com/deploy/dev/examples/grid/array-grid.js]
    The present embedding is of the kind:
    (code sample omitted, because the forum software dies with a post error if leave it)
    This is included into a BSP tabcontrol tab.
    In Firefox we see that the ext-grid is hidden by some BSP JavaScript logic which gets delivered with the final pages in the user's browser.
    In Internet Explorer we see a bug:
      file: sapUrMapi_ie6.js, line 4729, function sapUrMapi_PcTabSeq_draw, error: style.display is not an object  (it tries to check the display attribute).
    which stops execution and such has the lucky effect of not hiding the grid, so it display as intended from our part.
    I have researched some examples on the net, where AJAX code was embedded into a BSP application and saw that this code is often structured differently, using documentHead, documentBody und content HTMLB Elements, but also sometimes puts the JavaScript just at the end like in the code fragment given above. Alas I lack a proper description and guidelines when to use what element and where to put what JavaScript (and CSS)  into the various sections of a BSP htm file.

  • XMII - How to include custom transactions into services.... ?

    Hello XMII Gurus:
    We have done some customization in XMii to develop custom transactions. Now the dilemma is how to give end users access to these new transactions. Working with the developers I see that you can have URLs associated with these transactions, but I am looking for a way to associate a transaction with a service, so that it can be included in a security role, which in turn can be assigned to a user.
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Regards,
    KT

    Jamie:
    I have a custom URL transaction in place, works fine with a USER-ID which has the SAP delivered XMII Developer security role assigned. What I am trying to figure out is the service within the XMII Developer role which makes this possible.
    For this, I made a custom role in UME and assigned it all the services which were under the developer role, and to my surprise it didn't work. I have also taken care of the reader/writer role assignment to transaction through the workbench.
    Do you know why this is happening, am I missing something here?

  • Linking PL/SQL custom region into html db pages

    Hello,
    I have built an htmldb application with several pages, the first 7 of which contain html regions containing htmldb form items I created using the html db interface. I am able to step through the first 6 pages of my application, noting that the values of all the variables are saved when clicking from tab to tab.
    I created page 8 which contains a custom dynamic region, in which I used the PL/SQL web toolkit to create an html table, form, and several form fields in which to capture data.
    What I'd like to do is, link my custom region variables, etc. into the other pages that were generated by html db. The code snippet for my custom region is located below... After I navigate to my page with the custom region then click on Submit or even try to switch to another tab, I get the dreaded error: "The requested URL /pls/htmldb/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server."
    I am learning this product and admittedly am just knowledgeable to be dangerous. There must be some way to link in the items on my form I created with the rest of the pages within the application.
    I am sure I'm missing an important piece. Has anyone else done something similar? Any ideas, or can you tell me if what I'm doing is not possible?
    In case you're curious, the reason I am writing my own region with PL/SQL using the WebToolkit, etc. is because our organization wanted an example of taking an html db page and porting it over for use in Portal.
    Thanks in advance for any comments.
    code snippet for my custom region:

    Thank you for your reply...
    I actually was probably not very clear about what I'm trying to do. Let me try to clarify and give more background info...
    I have found it very easy to utilize html db to create my web forms, and manage all the variables and session state for me. It is so easy to make a quick form, capture info in a few fields and then post it to the DB. I have found it very difficult to use, however, in terms of getting it to format things the way I wish them to be.
    For example: I cannot seem, for the life of me, to get it to wrap field labels. This results in oddly formatted tables. I have tried to utilize the stop and start html table controls, begin on new line, new field, colspan, rowspan, etc., but what I really need is for it to let me define the tables and field labels, as I have done so successfully with the PL/SQL web toolkit (the code snipped for this is in my first post). What I did unsuccessfully with my custom dynamic region was manage to incorporate my form fields into variables and session state that will be automatically managed by html db along with the other 6 pages in my application. I was perhaps, expecting code to write itself, in retrospect. I'm sure some coding will be necessary to bind my form fields to vars in my html db appl. But, after reading a blog by a Mr. Spledoni (forgive me if spelling is wrong,) I think I messed up by overlapping <FORM> elements in my custom region. I admittedly don't understand how html db renders the form elements and processes them behind the scenes. I do remember from the Portlet classes, however, that coding was certainly necessary to process the forms once submitted.
    Am I making sense?
    I guess I need to either figure out how to format field labels the way I want them to be, OR to be able to write a custom region in PL/SQL using the web toolkit and figure out how to incorporate the values captured within the region into items or variables within my application, all other pages of which are html regions with html db items within them (not dymanic PL/SQL regions).
    Thanks for reading this, I know it's tedious...

  • Calling an SAP transaction from a BSP page

    Hi, I have created some BSP pages that are rendered inside SAPGUI screens using a HTML control object. When looking at a CRM system I came across the Business Partner Cockpit (CRMD_ORDER_BP) which displays activities for a business partner using a BSP implemented by CL_CRM_CCKPT_CFS_SERVICE_HTTP.
    The interesting thing about this BSP, is that you can click on the transaction number in the BSP and it launches the appropriate SAPGUI transaction to display the details of this activity.
    Looking at the HTML source, the link is defined like this: -
    <a href="SAPEVENT:OBJTYPE=BUS2000115&OBJKEY=CDAEBBF5BD903E4390DA7984D3054A65">0920000086</a>
    In the above example this activity is a sales order.
    Can anyone help me understand how this works, and how I can use it to navigate to SAP transactions using links in my BSP pages that are placed in SAPGUI HTML controls?
    Thanks
    Graham

    Hi Graham!
    I have a similar problem in transaction CIC0 and the Sales summary tab in CRM.
    I have created a new class and assigned it to a new fact sheet. One column in this fact sheet should be a hyperlink defined in the way that you have described.
    When using method get_event_parameter I are not getting any data for the SAPEVENT parameters - I don't get the value, only the keys:
    <a href="SAPEVENT:?OBJTYPE&OBJKEY>
    How should I procced to assign an object type and object key to this SAPEVENT???
    Would also be very nice if anyone could explain how to "call transaction" works.
    Help understanding this would be very appreciated.

  • Importing Custom Classes into a JSP page

    Hello,
    I have created custom package com.srjgroup.report. It sits in C:\workspace\src\com\srjgroup\report directory. I have java files as well as compiled classes there. No jar files there.
    did amend classpath to point to this directory.
    In my JSP page I have the import statement as following
    import="java.sql.*, java.util.*, java.text.SimpleDateFormat, com.srjgroup.report.*"It imports all the packages without any errors. However, when I try to use one of the classes in the package, I get error
    org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP
    An error occurred at line: 3 in the jsp file: /SQLServer.jsp
    Generated servlet error:
    SRJReports cannot be resolved to a type
    SRJReports is one of the classes that I am trying to use in that package. When I comment out all references to the class, everything is fine.
    So, to fix this I moved the entire package to
    C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\lib direcory, preserving the hierarhy. So, now my custom package is located here:
    C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\lib\com\srjgroup\report again there are no jar files, only java and classes here. Still, no go.
    What am I doing wrong ?

    Put the class in
    C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\classes\com\srjgroup\report
    One more thing, there is no subdirectory in lib directory. You may look at the example within tomcat for reference. I start from there.

  • Adding custom javascripts into my jsp pages

    Hi all,
    it will seems to be a newby question, i'm sorry i begin using jhs since two weeks
    the question is how can i Allow an onBlur property on VO Attributes; this property includes a piece of JavaScript to be executed on leaving the item to be generated in my jsp pages to prevent doing this in post-generation, by the way i would like to know who is the class responsible for the generation of form.js .
    thanks a lot
    best regards.

    Hi EvertJan, thanks for the reply.
    I need an advice:
    i've added an onblur event to jhsgenerator ADF BC property and i write as an example this.value=null
    i created a template in jspinput.xsl(JAGLauncher.jar) like this:
    <xsl:template name="onBlur">
    <xsl:param name="onBlur" />
    <xsl:if test="$onBlur !=''" >
    <xsl:attribute name="onblur">
    <xsl:value-of select="$onBlur" />
    </xsl:attribute>
    </xsl:if>
    </xsl:template>
    and i try to generate a html:text by modifing inputtextsec template like this:
    <xsl:template name="textInputSec">
    <xsl:param name="name"/>
    <xsl:param name="property"/>
    <xsl:param name="withIndex"/>
    <xsl:param name="size"/>
    <xsl:param name="maximumLength"/>
    <xsl:param name="updateable"/>
    <xsl:param name="displayType"/>
         <xsl:param name="onBlur" />
    <html:text name="{$name}" property="{$property}" size="{$size}" maxlength="{$maximumLength}" onblur="{$onBlur}">
    <xsl:call-template name="onBlur" >
    <xsl:with-param name="onBlur" select="$onBlur"/>
    </xsl:call-template>
              <xsl:if test="$withIndex = 'true'">
    <xsl:attribute name="indexed">
    <xsl:value-of select="'true'"/>
    </xsl:attribute>
    </xsl:if>
    <xsl:call-template name="disabledAttribute">
    <xsl:with-param name="updateable" select="$updateable"/>
    </xsl:call-template>
    </html:text>
         </xsl:template>
    also added this to CreateFormElement template in jsplibrary.xsl:
    <xsl:with-param name="onBlur" >
    <xsl:call-template name="getCustomProperty">
    <xsl:with-param name="entityAttribute" select="$entityAttribute"/>
    <xsl:with-param name="propertyName" select="'ON_BLUR'"/>
    </xsl:call-template>
    </xsl:with-param>
    but the result inemployees.jsp is not what i expected:
    <td class="prompt" nowrap="nowrap">FirstName</td>
    <td nowrap="nowrap">
    <html:text name="EmployeesBean" property="EmployeesFirstName" size="20" maxlength="30" onblur="" />
    </td>
    like yousee this.value=null is missing in onblur=""
    i hope you can help me
    Best regards

    Hi Experts,
    We have a BSP application in ECC and want to launch the page from CRM using transaction launcher. The page is already launched from a different link. Is it possible to use the same transaction launcher from new link to navigate to the same page?
    Thanks,

    Hello JC,
    Yes, it is possible . You have to create new work center link or Direct Link for the existing transaction launcher.

  • Report standard SAP into BSP page

    I want know how I can read the output of a standard report SAP R/3 into a BSP page ( WAS 6.20 ).

    Hi Rick,
    a short answer would be: create a BSP application and place the code into the onInizialization handler. But since you are completely new to BSP I'd recommend the following links for tutorials:

  • Using SQL Transactions in a JSF page

    Hi,
    I have got a problem implementing SQL Transactions into a JSF page.
    Here is my problem:
    I have go an object named "database" which contains the connection and the necessary method to launch queries, connection,...
    the database object is instantiated in the constructor of the page.
    I will name as "the process", this :
    database.connectTo(); //the instantiation of the connection
    database.connection.setAutoCommit(false);
    database.executeNonQuery("any insertion query");
    database.executeNonQuery("any insertion query2");
    database.executeNonQuery("any insertion query3");
    database.executeNonQuery("COMMIT");
    (As you can see, it's just a preliminary test, the rollback is not tested yet)
    If I put the entire process in a single method, everything works fine.
    If I split the queries and the commit query, the commit is not launched because the connection of my object "database" is null. I mean by "splitting", the launch of the 3 insertion queries is in a method (of a button for example) and the launch of the commit query is in another method (another button).
    It appears that the attribute connection is set to null after the launch of the three queries...
    Moreover, nothing is inserted in the database (this logical since the commit is not launched).
    Has anyone a clue?

    Your database transaction should not span two buttons. The two buttons will be called on separate requests -- that is, separate calls to the server -- and you'll have a database connection dangling out there, potentially locking other people out of certain tables/rows until the user clicks the right button.
    Note also that there is a commit() method in the JDBC API.
    You might want to spend some time studying some example applications.

  • Urgent!!  How to call a custom transaction or an ABAP program in BSP?

    Urgent!!  How to call a custom transaction or an ABAP program in BSP?
    We are pretty new on BSP.  Would be very appreciated if any expert here give us the detailed steps on how to build up the application to just call a custom transaction (e.g., t-code: ztest) or an ABAP program.  Would we have to create a button or event handler to do that?  And the detailed steps?
    Thanks in advance and we will definately give you reward points!

    hi Durairaj,
    During the time to wait for your answer, we copied Bernd's code from your last link, but when activating it, get the 1st error msg:
    Field "CLIENT" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement."DATA" statement. The error shows up here:
    <td>
    <htmlb:inputField id = "client"
    value = "<%= client %>" />
    </td>
    Then we added Client to the page attribute and define it as type String, then get another error:
    The field "EVENT" is unknown, but there is a field with the similar name "EVENT_ID"."EVENT_ID". This error shows up at the beginning in the Event Handler:
    OnInputProcessing:
    code
    • event handler for checking and processing user input and
    • for defining navigation
    • event handler for data retrieval
    event = cl_htmlb_manager=>get_event( runtime->server->request ).
    IF event->name = 'button' AND event->event_type = 'click'.
    button_event ?= event.
    How to resolve this unknown Event error, need to define in Page Attribute tab? but with what type?
    Actually we only want to run an ABAP4 program in BSP, the code is complicated, could you show us an easy way of doing this in BSP?

  • Integrating print forms designed in SFP transaction into BSP

    Hi,
    Can we call the print forms designed using transaction SFP into our BSP application? I have the selected data in the internal table which I will pass to the form interface, but can we see this output in the browser? or should I use other options of spool/smart forms.
    Thanks,
    Kiran

    Sure you can use Adobe Print Forms from SFP.  You can spool them for printing or grab the binary content from the rendering function module and pass that along through the HTTP Response to the browser.  Here is a weblog that talks about this very subject:

  • How to login CRM 2007 BSP page use account domain of Microsoft AD

    Dear friends,
    I am finding solution to setup system with the requisite:
    - Login to CRM 2007 Business Server Page use account domain which is managed by Microsoft Acitve Directory.
    - Users use only web browser, they didn't use SAPGUI and they must type username, password ( their username,password are managed in Microsoft AD, not in SAP system) in every login to BSP page, don't use solution like X.509 client certificate.
    I used to configured using SNC and I could login to SAP System using SAPGUI without type SAP username and password when I log in my computer by account domain( my computer is joined in domain).
    But my requisite is have to use account domain( username and password)  and type them in web browser when I want to log in SAP system, could not configured to go to directly SAP application ( BSP page ) without type username/password of account domain.
    After time looking for solution about authentication :
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/index?rid=/webcontent/uuid/8039306e-cea4-2a10-15b9-8e96d40c51ef [original link is broken]
    I think may be I could login to java portal by used username/password of account domain to authenticate after login  to portal I use SSO to switch to BSP page without type username password again. This solution may be accepted because I was login to SAP application from web browser and used account domain.
    Could you show me, there are anymore solution or how could I do to to set up my above solution.
    Thanks and Best Regards.

    The normal way to do this is to configure the authentication stack required on a JAVA stack (e.g. portal or standalone Java instance of NetWeaver or dual stack) and then configure the BSP app in SICF transaction to redirect to Java stack when no SSO2 ticket is sent by browser (e.g. user has already authenticated). The redirect to Java stack will be done, such that after user has authenticated to Java stack they will be issued with an SSO2 ticket and redirected back to the BSP app URL. From end users perspective, they will access the BSP app URL and get authenticated using Active Directory, and they won't know about the redirection since they will be logged into the BSP app once they have authenticated.
    The authentication using Active Directory can be done using two methods:
    - Using credentials already on workstation from workstation logon, e.g. using Integrated Windows Authentication
    - Showing user a form where they enter AD account and password.
    Thanks,

  • To restrict a user from using a custom transaction

    Hi,
    I have a created a custom transaction  ZTEST. Now i want only a few users to use this and not all. How can i achieve this. I see an authorization object in the SE93. But can anybody explain me in detail regarding the same ?
    Regards,
    Pramod

    Hi
    We can use authorization to restrict the access to a perticular transaction. Permitted Activity configurations are performed into it.
    Before a User can be granted permission by the Authorization Object, the User’s Master Record is assigned a Role, which includes a Profile.
    The Profile contains what is simply called the Authorization and is where the specific data for the Authorization Object’s field is assigned to the configured Permitted Activity.
    You need to create a role or modify any existing role, using t code pfcg . On the authorizations tab in “Maintain Authorization Data and Generate Profiles”, press the “Change Authorization Data” button.
    On the next popup screen named  “Choose Template”, select the “Do not select templates” option.
    Press the button “Manually”, and enter the authorization abject attached in your transaction.Select the Tick button to continue.
    Expend all the nodes.
    Press edit icon  or line 'activity'. and choose the one which you want to allow to user.
    Generate the Authorization using the generation.
    Now all the users who has a role attached which you edited or created, will not be able to execute that t code.
    go to t code su01 to attach role to perticular user.
