Get_Children Method in CL_BSP_WD_TREE_NODE_PROXY Class - Tree View

Hi
When I have created the Zclass by taking the super class as CL_BSP_WD_TREE_NODE_PROXY. Afterthat I am going to redefine the method GET_CHILDREN in CL_BSP_WD_TREE_NODE_PROXY class, its not going to allow me to enter the code in this method.
Message its showing - IF_BSP_WD_TREE_NODE~GET_CHILDREN is abstract and has not been redefined.
Kindly let know how to resolve this.

I have to say this is not a CRM specific question, this should be more ABAP programming related. But anyway, let me have a try.
I've performed the following steps successfully:
1.se24, enter Class name ZHY_BSP_WD_TREE_NODE_PROXY, click Create button,
2.select Class, click green tick,
3.click on the "Create inheritce" button beside my class name, this brings Superclass field, and enter CL_BSP_WD_TREE_NODE_PROXY, leave everything as defaulted: Usual ABAP Class, and Final, click save button,
4.On Methods tab, locate IF_BSP_WD_TREE_NODE~GET_CHILDREN, and put cursor on it, and click button "Redefine"
5.Now it brings me to the coding change screen, and I am able to add codings freely, and activate and save is possible and succeeded.
Any step that I made a difference compared to yours?

I created a project from the existing source (3,000+ source classes). Initially all classes are shown in a tree view, but after restarting Jdeveloper I can see only part of the classes in a navigation window. At the same time I'm able to see all of them if I use package list view.

How to populate list in tree view dynamically

I am new to Indesign Plugin creation.
I want to create list in tree view dynamically.
I tried wlistboxcomposite sdk sample in indesign cs4.
I have some doubts in this.
1. Can i write my own method in WLBCmpTreeViewAdapter class because it's implements ListTreeViewAdapter
If it's possible how can i call this method.
2. In this example they populating static string in constructor like this

The TreeViewAdaptor is responsible for mapping your custom data to the tree view itself. I almost always start by making it return some fixed number of objects with names "item 1" etc. That way you get the tree view working first.
Then, after you get it laid out and displaying properly, you can worry about using real data. At that point, you have your adaptor return the actual number of items in your list and each individual item. Then you can populate your list when you push your button and then invalidate the IControlView of the tree view widget to cause it to redraw. At that point your adaptor will get called and your data should appear.

Hi.
Sub/Requirement: How to implement RadioButtons in tree view with/without using xml file.
I have a requirement like this i want to display RadioButton in tree view.
I implemented tree same as which is given in sampleApplications.
In this sampleApplications they implemted tree by using xml file.
I also implemented tree by Generating xml file. In this xml file i get the values from the database. I am using <netui:tree > tag.
Is it possible to implement tree without using xml file. I need to generate tree Dynamically.
Please any one help me to come out with this solution.

The issue here is while you are retrieving all the details, you are consistently overwriting them in the request.setAttribute() call before you get to the JSP to display them.
Do you actually have a class/object called Student?
That object should have attributes for classes, subjects, teachers (all of which are lists apparently)

That lets you pass the list of students, each student having its own lists for display.

Make sure that the xml created out after the java mapping is a valid xml with only one root node.

The answer was correct, i was able to resolve that exception...
But the thing is when i click on the search button it is not displaying the result.. i mean it is not triggering the event...
what will be the answer for this please help me .. urgent requirement..
let me explain the scenario here i am taking one advance search page and if u click on search button result should display in tree format...
I done all correctly but i am now unable to point the error... my requirement similar to the standard component SEGAS_SEG.

My requirement is to create a Tree view .... looked around a lot but no detailed explanation to this topic. along with this forums detials i looked into the standard BSP Component CRM_THTMLB_COMP for tree view help. I am new to MVC so lost at some point.
Accordingy to this explanation i was able to achive the tree structure in the value node...
But how to display data in tree? what codes need to be put in the get ...set methods..
Actually i created a table view and the value node is refereing to my ztable....so all the get and set methods are in this impl class. and the new impl class to tree structure does not have these methods...should i create all of them again ...or can i refer to the value node impl class get and set methods.....what code needs to be called in the get and set methods.

Issue in Tree View Enhancement

Hello Experts,
I have a Tree View and its related Context Node Class. Due to some requirement I need to enhance the same.
I have done the following steps:
1. Enhance the View which eventually enhanced the CTXT class to Z_CTXT as well.
2. I am trying to enhance the Tree View context node( say IBASE in my example).
When I do the same, it is giving me an error saying that
Method CTXT - CREATE_IBASE does not exist.
Just to recheck I went to the parent class of Z_CTXT which is CTXT and found the method was very much there.
Refer standard component ICCMP_IBASE View: IBTreeResultList Context Node: IBASE. My question is related to this context node.

Hi Vinamra,
When you enhance the view by default CTXT class also will be enhanced, when you enhance the context node then only system will create corresponding method create_"context node name" in your Z_CTXT class.
Did you check Z_CTXT class for the create_ibase method, This class should have added this method with code like this

while debugging I found that in class CL_BSP_WD_CONTEXT_NODE_TREE , the method GET_T_TABLE the below code is not triigerring for the child node attributes ( to trigger the get method of attribute for value node).

I created the GETTER method inthe class CN01 and CN02. But those methods are not triggered in CALL METHOD LV_TN->(LV_METHOD). Even that class CN02 is having the same methods. Those methods are already Implemented. May I know what was the reason Why those methods are not triggered ( getter method ). With out that Method data will not display in the Tree view. Can anybody tell me the reason why it is not happenning?

Only one column was triggered another column did not get any value becasue of the above method call fail.. We are not restricted anywhere to display one column value in the output. Even in Debugging I checked that LV_METHOD is having the method name. CN02 class is also having the same method, But it is not going into the method. It is coming out side. What could be the reason I could not able to understnad.
Please provide me some pointers on the issue....

Post Back Tree view when tree node check changed

Hi everyone,
I have a tree view, both child and parent have check box. I want to check all the child on the parent selection.
I try "SelectedNodeChanged" but the page doesn't post back to fire my function.
I know I can use javascript to post back the page, but is there any other way to post back my page without javascript???

I have created ALV TREE VIEW using CL_GUI_ALV_TREE.
i have set the check boxes at nodes.
now whenever user checks the checkbox and selects the pushbutton on PF-Status..at that time i want to capture the checkbox in my internal table...

Hi,
You can develop your custom control for this purpose. The logic you mentioned was correct. Here is a sample control that I developed by the logic you mentioned.
