Get Contents of TextEdit Document Only Copies Filename to Clipboard

I'm using the following workflow but instead of the TextEdit contents getting copied to the clipboard, the filename gets copied instead. So the output looks like:
/Users/username/Desktop/tns1.txt
Is there a way to copy the contents to the clipboard?

Get Content of PDF document which has data carrier SAP-SYSTEM

Hi,
I need to get the Content of Document in Binary format .The documtn is not in Content Server.
I used the the below FM's to read the file name and its content.
1. CV120_KPRO_MASTER_DATA_GET - for file name
2. CV120_KPRO_CHECKOUT_TO_TABLE- To Read content
For The document which has file attched in CV01N, I am able to get the data thrpugh this FM's. But, these document have no entry for FIle name in DRAW. I don't know why?
And Some Documents dont have file attahced in CV01N.
But, they have entry in DRAW for File. I don't know how these files are attched without entry in CV03N.
like : DRAW-MRK_FILEP = ajhsaka.pdf
DRAW-DDTRG1 = SAP-SYSTEM
For these document, I am not able to read the Binary content using the Above mentioned FM's. It is giving Runtime error as FIle Cannot be opend. ot Not Found.
Please let me know, how can solve my Problem.

Set contents of textedit document in automator

I'm creating .ini files to mirror actual files for a company program, and I need to put the same text in each of these files + the file name (which is different for each file).
Using automator I can get the file created with the filename inside, but I can't seem to insert text into the file above/below the filename. I have to do this for a couple hundred files, and I'd rather not do it by hand.

What is the situation? Do you have a boilerplate of text that needs to be inserted into each file?
Are you handy at the command line and or have you used advanced text editors before?

I've hit a problem with orcl:get-content-as-string() (BPEL 10.1.2), which looks like it's already been identified. When multiple namespace are passed within a tag I get 'import not allowed on nodes of type element declaration'
metalink search finds a technote (relevent text quoted below) but I can't find an actual bug report. Is the suggested use of ora:getContentAsString instead of orcl:get-content-as-string the only permanent solution? Are there any issues to be aware of when swicthing to ora:getContentAsString ?

From Doc Note 376987.1:
"The function "get-content-as-string()" might also throw the following error when the xml tags contains namespace declarations.
"import not allowed on nodes of type element declaration"
To workaround the error us the function "ora:getContentAsString()" instead
The function "ora:getContentAsString()" has therefore always to be used in favor of the function "orcl:get-content-as-string()"

use always: ora:getContentAsString()

HP Officejet Pro 8620 copier only copies half of document

When coping from the glass my copier only copies half of the page. When coping from the feeder it is leaving one side of my page off. I have only had this a couple of weeks and not sure what to do. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

In the meantime, I'd recommend performing a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. CDESK: How to get a customized content in the document list tab

I try to get a specific list of document info records (DIR's) in the document list tab of the CDESK - similar to the document search result.
I use the Addin-BADI and the ~PROCESS_NEW_FUNCTIONS/~ADD_NEW_FUNCTIONS methods to start a costumer specific selection of DIR's.
For instance I want to select all documents with contain the digits 99.
Then I want to show the selection result as the content of the document list tab to proceed with further steps like ckeck-out and so on.
I followed an example which I found in this forum, see thread "CDESK: Start userdefined search program and recieve DIRs".
My coding is:
method if_ex_cdesk_tbm_addin~process_new_functions.
    when 'ZFCODE_ARBVOR'.
      data lt_draw type table of draw.
      select * from draw into table lt_draw
        where dokar = 'TKD'
          and doknr = '99'.
      sort lt_draw stable by dokar doknr doktl dokvr ascending.
      delete adjacent duplicates from lt_draw comparing dokar doknr doktl dokvr.
      PERFORM refresh_sap_list IN PROGRAM saplcdesk TABLES lt_draw USING 'X'.
But nothing happens with the document list when executing this customer function.
I assume it is not possible to update the document list out of a BADI in that way.
Does anyone has some hints?

There is an standard RFC RFC_READ_TABLE which can read any table in R/3. But the data returned will be unformatted hence you need to parse it. This FM has few limitations aswell.
RFC_READ_TABLE is an RFC that allows users to read a table remotely. This is important particularly to Java developers using JCO to communicate with an ABAP back-end. Unfortunately, RFC_READ_TABLE has size limitations; it also incorrectly reads binary data. Also no authorization checking takes place.

How do I set up automatic downloads so that i only get content from specific devices?

Hello! I was wondering if there was a way I could set up automatic downloads so I only get content purchased from certain devices. I have a MacBook Pro and a ipod touch. I share an apple id with my family for itunes but have my own apple id for icloud. In my family we have various other apple products (iphones and ipads) and I dont want most of the things that my family would download on their devices - just the things would happen to download on my ipod and computer.

How to get only the filename and extension for a text item?

Suppose there is a non-database text item called :myfilename
:myfilename := 'C:\SomeFolder\SomePath\myfile.doc';
I would like to get the file name only without the full path,
i.e. myfile.doc
and the file extension, i.e. 'doc', 'bat', 'java', 'xhtml' etc., i.e. the last few chars from the right to the period.

I defined the non-database Text Item called FULLFILENAME and another two text items called FILE_NAME, FILE_EXTENSION. The following can extract the file extension,
select substr(:FULLFILENAME,instr(:FULLFILENAME,'.')+1) into :FILE_EXTENSION from dual;
e.g.
:FULLFILENAME := 'C:\MyFolder\AnotherFolder\file.doc';
FILE_EXTENSION becomes 'doc'
but I would also like to extract only the filename without path into FILE_NAME,
i.e. file.doc

Just thought I'd add my solution, I decided to go with WebDAV and I think it actually works better than the iTunes way, the steps are pretty much the same but avoiding the iTunes interface just makes things easier and faster.
I followed this guide but it does have a small mistake in the httpd-dav.conf file, on line 2, where it's WebServer/WebDAV">, it should be <Directory "/Library/WebServer/WebDAV">.
The tricky part is setting permissions which if wrong will give you errors when connecting with the iPad, I opted to set all to Read&Write since my home network has a hardware firewall. Another convenience was to add an alias to the webdav share on the Desktop.
I'm still expecting the call from Apple but even if they fix the iTunes I'm sticking with WebDAV, atleast until I see what's new with iOS5 and iCloud this fall which should bring true sync for documents (I'm hoping that they will offer encryption with my own keys, if not, then I'll probably keep using WebDAV).

the files are stored in the system with the help of Knowledge Provider. Every document has unique PHIO and LOIO attributes.
if you know storage name of documents you can get PHIO of the folder where data is kept. futhermore you can get the list of all documents stored in that folder and select the required one. after that use function module:
SKWF_PHIO_LOAD_CONTENT
exporting to this module PHIO attributes of your object in import you'll get a table of type sdokcntbin
this table contains data in binary format
Note: with the help of SCMS_BINARY_TO_XSTRING you'll convert data to XSTRING

how can i get only the filename of the file not the full path and to be placed on a textinput.?
example:
when i'browse the file and select sample.txt
"C:\Users\user\Desktop\folders\sample.txt" this will be inputted on the textinput.
however, what i want to have is when i'browse and select a file..
textinput should only contain "sample".

How are you getting the full path of the file when you browse, I dont think for security reasons the Flash Player will aloow to do so. You can only get the file name not the full path of the file when you browse.
Are you using Flex4..?? I am not sure whether this is possible in Flex4..However if you are getting full path and if you wanted to show only the filename then you can just use theString class split function to acehive this..

Content Server - get content of document being checked in

Is is possible to get the content of the document being checked-in via Java? Assuming I want to have a component which performs some action on the document being checked in, before this document is checked in. Is there some way to read the content of the document?

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction. From what I understand I just need to get the path to the document and then open it via Java. I believe sth like this does the trick:
String docPath = binder.get("primaryFile:path");
From my understanding there is this "vault" folder which holds the content server's files, revisions, temp files etc... Using the above code should work ok, but I understood that the CS can be told to save its files into some data base instead of the "vault" folder, in which case the above code won't be useful...
I assume in this case reading the document is done in some other way...
So, should I conclude that there is no general/abstract way of reading the document being checked-in which doesn't take into consideration the underlying structure which keeps the CS's files(vault or DB)?

Photos on ATV only copies due to dead HD on computer can I get them back?

well my time machine also has lost the photos but I Can still see them as a slide show on my apple TV any way to get them back? and if I have to pull the drive from the ATV to do this can I replace it with something a lot larger? 31 gig available is not much with HD content is there a website that details this process and sells the larger drives unit is long out of warranty
also I have a lot of audible.com books on my itunes on my laptop but only the books I bought on CDs and ripped on to itunes can be seen/played on my old Apple TV none of the stuff bought and DL from audible more than 20 days worth bought over the last 10 years
this is an early ATV updated to the 3,0 software

This is enhancement project and some one develops long back.
Regarding point (b) You should be using the java.net.URLEncoder to encode URL parameters, not a base64 encoder.
DocumentSummarizerClient.java I am using base64
Ex:
