Get the TreePath of a node?

Hi,
I need the TreePath of a node.
I only know methods from JTree who support this.
But they are not usefull in this case.
Cause i use a kind of JTreeTable. There after a node is inserted i must call fireTreeStructureChanged, after this none of the tree methods like getSelectionPath work.
The problem is that after the call of fireTreeStructureChanged the tree collaps all open nodes.
I want that the node who got the last "input" should be visible after the insertion and all of its new childrens.
Working with expandRow() won't work.
So is there a way to get the TreePath with the TreeNode or the TreeModel?
regards
Olek

Never mind,
the problem is solved,
i save the lead selection path after a mouse click.
Then i insert some nodes and use the saved path to
show this path with the added nodes.

  • How to get the data from multiple nodes to one table

    Hi All,
    How to get the data from multiple nodes to one table.examples nodes are like  A B C D E relation also maintained
    Regards,
    Indra

    HI Indra,
    From Node A, get the values of the attributes as
    lo_NodeA->GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES(  IMPORTING STATIC_ATTRIBUTES = ls_attributesA  ).
    Similarily get all the node values from B, C, D and E.
    Finally append all your ls records to the table.
    Hope you are clear.

  • Getting the XPath from a Node

    Hey Folks, have a scenario where i need to link my data, i.e one node points to another node, e.g
    <data>
    <liability id="1">
    <value> 10000 </value>
    </liability>
    <asset id = "2">
    <value> 20000 </value>
    </asset>
    </data>
    so take the case above, i have a house which is an asset and i have a mortgage(liability) on that house, now i want to show that in my asset that there is a liability on this asset, so i need to come up with a way to link my asset to a liability, now easiest way in my thinking is just point to the XPath of the liability!! Now problem is this, at the data level that im working at, i know what data node im working on but i dont know its absolute path, in my case the above XML is just a snippet of what im dealing with, there is more hierarchical levels in my document!! Maybe im blind but i couldnt see from the API how to get the XPath of a node?? is there existing API which does this or will i have to go ahead and write something to come up with the XPath!! or does anyone have any other suggestions as to how i would do my link??
    The way i see my XML when finished is something like this
    <data>
    <liability id="1">
    <value> 10000 </value>
    </liability>
    <asset id = "2">
    <value> 20000 </value>
    <liability> /data/liability[@id='1'] </liability>
    </asset>
    </data>
    any thoughts are welcome,
    cheers,
    LL

    A better design would be to make your "id" attribute the key... looking back at your post, it seems that you have done that already. So your XML should just look something like this:<data>
    <liability id="1">
    <value> 10000 </value>
    </liability>
    <asset id = "2" liabilityid="1">
    <value> 20000 </value>
    </asset>
    </data>Then when your code needs to match the liability to the asset, you can easily build the XPath to find it. (Of course if there can be more than one liability per asset, you shouldn't use a liabilityid attribute as I did in the example.)

  • JTree - need to get the value of a node at a specific node in the tree

    For Example here is a tree:
    Root
    -Item1
    A
    B
    C
    -Item2
    A
    B
    C
    Scenario: Somebody selects B in Item2 from the tree and drags it to a JList. Need to be able to tell the JList that the B came from Item2 and not Item1. So how do I get the Item1, Item2 value? Thanks in advance for all your help.
    Here is the code I am working with...so I have a TreeSelectionEvent(e), a DefaultMutableTreeNode(node) and my JTree(mainTree)

    </INFO>
    </FUSIONHUB>

    I HAVE USED NODE.getNodevalue() method but it returned null instead of A001.
    can anybody please answer ?
    waitng for replies immediately.
    null

    Hi,
    You need to get the child node of the company_id node and then get the node value.
    The value A001 is stored in a textnode under the node company_id.

  • How to get the current tree element (node/childnode/childnode/...) ?

    Hello!
    I'm trying to create a kind of a navigation tree for my application.
    It should represent some elements of an XML structure and some other nodes for other options.
    The binding with the context is not a problem, I can create the tree up to all the levels I want to.
    The problem now is, that I don't know, how to get the "current tree element", when there is any action.
    For example:
    public void onActionSelect(...) {
    String test = wdContext.currentTreeNodeElement().getText();
    wdThis.wdGetContext().currentContextElement().setSelectedElement(test);
    With this method I can get the text of the "first level nodes". If I want to get the "second level node", I can do
    String test = wdContext.currentTreeNodeElement().currentChildElement.getText();
    ..and for the next levels so on.
    Isn't there any general method to get the information of the selected element without knowing before, whether it is a nodeElement or a nodeElement.currentChildElement or a nodeElement.currentChildElement.currentChildElement, ...?
    Greetings,
    Ramó

    Hi,
    if you following that pdf ,
    i think your not implemented the below code in DomodifyView method
    if (firstTime) {
          IWDTreeNodeType treeNode = (IWDTreeNodeType) view.getElement("TheNode");
          /* The following line is necessary to create parameter mapping from parameter "path" to parameter "selectedElement".
    Parameter "path" is of type string and contains the string representation of the tree element (its corresponding context element to be exact)
    that raised the onAction event. Parameter "selectedElement" is of type IWDNodeElement (or extends it) and is defined as parameter in the event handler
    that handles the onAction. The parameter mapping defined here translates the String "path" into the corresponding context element that then can
    be accessed within the event handler
          treeNode.mappingOfOnAction().addSourceMapping("path", "selectedElement");
          /* The following line is necessary to create parameter mapping from parameter "path" to parameter "element".
    Parameter "path" is of type string and contains the string representation of the tree element (its corresponding context element to be exact)
    that raised the onLoadChildren event. Parameter "element" is of type IWDNodeElement (or extends it) and is defined as parameter in the event handler
    that handles the onLoadChildren. The parameter mapping defined here translates the String "path" into the corresponding context element that then can
    be accessed within the event handler
          treeNode.mappingOfOnLoadChildren().addSourceMapping("path", "element");
    please cross check once.
    Thanks,
    Ramesh

  • I need to get the tagName after a node of the first child of the Root

    Hi All,
    I need to get the TagName of the Node immediete after the Root. I won't know what is the TagName, and based on the Tagname only I can process the records.
    For example I might receive a SALES object or a MARKETING object wrapped under the root.
    eg.
    <PARENT>

    </SALES>
    </PARENT>
    or
    <PARENT>

    I tried to using like this
                   DocumentBuilder documentBuilder = documentBuilderFactory.newDocumentBuilder();
                   File file = new File("c:/example.xml");
                   document = documentBuilder.parse(file);
                   Node node = document.getDocumentElement().getFirstChild();
                   System.out.println("node Name:" +node.getNodeName());
                   System.out.println("node Value:" +node.getNodeValue());
    It returns only something like #text, but I need the response like 'SALES'.
    Can anyone let me know if im missing something somewhere.
    thanks in advance,
    Harish

    That's because the first child of the document element is that whitespace text node between <PARENT> and <SALES>. You need to scan through the children of the document element until you find one that is an Element node.

    Hi Blaise,
    thanks for your reply.
    but still i couldn't get the tag name even after using setIgnoringElementContentWhitespace true.
              Document document = null;
              DocumentBuilderFactory documentBuilderFactory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();

  • Get the value from another node.

    Hi, expert
    In the component BT131I_SLS , I create a enhanced attribute in the node: BT131I_SLS/Details BTADMINI
    Then i define the GET-V method to create a search help for the attribute.
    Now , i want to pass a BP number to the search help function to filter the data.
    We need to get the BP number as below:
    When create a order, we input the product id ,
    then there will be a popup window , we can choose  a vendor in the window.
    The vendor number is the value which we want to pass to the search help.
    How can i do that ?
    Thanks.

  • How do I get the DSR state property node to correctly read?

    I can toggle the DTR line high and
    low using a property node for the serial port, modem line settings, DTR line state, and it works fine. However, I cannot get the DSR line to
    read properly. Seems to go to unasserted no matter what the input is (and I've verifed the input). I've turned handshaking on and jumpered DTR to DSR (pin 4 to 6 on DB-9), but the DSR line will not read correctly. I'm using 6.1 with Windows 2000.

    Here's a simple version. Writes and reads to itself fine, and can toggle the DTR high and low. DSR is always unasserted. Thanks for your help.

  • Getting the name of selected Node in Adobe 3D PDF

    Hello,
    I'm trying to use the following code to get the name of the selected node for a 3D object in my PDF.
    var c3d = this.getAnnots3D(this.pageNum)[0].context3D;
    c3d.activated = true;
    var select = c3d.scene.selectedNode.name;
    I get the error
    TypeError: c3d.scene.selectedNode is undefined
    19:Console:Exec
    undefined
    I have placed my code at the folder level.
    Can someone help please?

    The XPath expression for attribute is tag-name/@attribute-name

  • How to get the value of a node content in XML Literal in BPEL 2.0?

    Hi!
    I have a Problem Build A Expression in activity allocation XML Literal one, I would like to help me ...
    Well, I have the same activity in BPEL 1.0 version and now is Different is BPEL 2.0,
    I have a Web Service < WSEjecutaComandos > Where to have a function Remote Commands That runs ,
    Inputs my Web Service: " numEquipo int , String [ ] comandos , int numCta , int publicar , int version ,  String fecha"
    The second argument is a string array type ..
    Now in my BPEL process , I make is the following assignment:
    <assign name="AssignCreaPath">
                        <copy>
                            <from>
                             <literal>
                                  <fnCRexecElement xmlns="http://servicios/">
                                       <numEquipo>2</numEquipo>
                                       <comandos>mkdir etl/entradas/mmkis/</comandos>
                                       <numCuenta>1</numCuenta>
                                       <publicar>0</publicar>
                                 </fnCRexecElement>
                            </literal>
                            </from>
                            <to>$InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters</to>
                        </copy>
                        <copy>
                            <from>concat(ora:getContentAsString($InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/comandos),$inputVariable.payload/client:fecha)</from>
                            <to>$InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/comandos</to>
                        </copy>
                        <copy>
                            <from>$InvokeVersion_fnGetVersionProcesoByFecha_OutputVariable.parameters/version</from>
                            <to>$InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/version</to>
                        </copy>
                        <copy>
                            <from>$inputVariable.payload/client:fecha</from>
                            <to>$InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/fecha</to>
                        </copy>
                    </assign>
    Well the conflict that I have is this,
    previously defined a assign with XML Fragment copied it to the payload to the input variable Web Service (WSEjecutaComandos),
    and the XML is copied in each of the variables ,
    Then concatenate input values ( I remarked in red) < comandos > with the value from "fecha" ( String) , and again copy Variable < comandos > and did not have any problems
    but now with the new BPEL 2.0, I do the same thing using now Literal XML ( that good!) but the option to concatenate (I remarked in red) and copied to the same variable ( I remarked in blue ), I mark the following error :
    I should know, I'm doing wrong That , or you need to make XPath Function That The Value They already have the variable < comandos> will concatenate fecha ,
    and is the final value for my entry my Web Service.
    must be defined as the type values array <comandos[i]>
    define the following activities before $InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/comandos[1],
    but it seems that this BPEL 2.0 does not respect me as index brackets .
    Thank you...
    Cheers,

    thanks for your help , it served me!
    I need to get the value of XMLNodeList <comandos> to concatenate the date.
    Attempt to XPath function ( ora:getContentAsString(NodeList elementAsNodeList)), but returns me a String, but a nodoXML.
    Cheers,
    Maby

  • Getting the value of a node starts a new line

    Hi when I'm using string += node.getFirstChild().getNodeValue() several times to make a string of html code. However, everytime I call that function it starta a new line - how can I avoid this?
    Thanks.

    try using the trim() function of String class, this removes whitespace from the begining and end of the string and should solve your problem
