GetCurrentRow error in innerTable.
In innerTable pass parameter current record to next page.
When use click wrong Outer in inner pass null.
Example: User click create new record button for master then this master is currenct correct process user should click create detail of this master but they not create detail for this master , they click create new detail for another master then they click cancel button in cancel button in Cancel button have following coding
OAViewObject fundVo = (OAViewObject) am.findViewObject(
"FaoBudFundSrcsTempVO1");
fundVo.getCurrentRow().remove(); // Show error this line
Then it error because they click add detail from another master not currect master.
Can you help me to solve this problem.

getCurrentRow would not retrieve rows unless you set a row as a Current row. Please check your logic under this light.

It did not work I am getting the same error.does the WHO column order in the table matters? My WHO columns are in the below order:

my error is:
oracle.jbo.RowCreateException: JBO-25017: Error while creating a new entity row for testEO.

Stale data error while deleting a record

My design of this development is as follow...
1. Search Page in which users give some search criteria and results will be displayed in the results region on the same page. For each results record I have two buttons like 'Update' and 'Delete' so that users can delete the record or can update the record. For update i created a one more page where users can able to edit and save the data. I have two AM one for Search Page and one for Update Page.

Suppose I have one record in interface table with corresponding error record in error table.When users given the search criteria and hit enter they found a record. It means i have one record in the interface having one error record in the error table and both tables have same transaction id (primary key). So here user first try to update the record and it is working. After update he try to delete a record then I am getting below error. Please note that I am not getting this error when if i directly delete the record with out doing any update before delete. When ever users click on update icon then update PG will open and when users click on Apply button then data is getting updated in the database and page will forward to the search page.
Unable to perform transaction on the record.
Cause: The record contains stale data. The record has been modified by another user.
Action: Cancel the transaction and re-query the record to get the new data.

In Search page i didn't do any update. and also search page is not a problem it's working fine. create page only the problem. In this page only throwing Stale data error exception.

I keep getting the "JBO-26080: Error while selecting entity for Units" error. Below is the query in my View Object. If I remove the Units(Enitty) from the query it works fine but I need to have that in the query. This error occurs only when I do "Reset" on the screen which in turn calls "getSearchProgramView().getCurrentRow().refresh(Row.REFRESH_WITH_DB_FORGET_CHANGES);"
Can some one explain how to get rid of this problem? When I run the query in TOAD it works fine.

for those who have encountered the same problem as me, you should check that the table name sql query is of the form Name_Schema.Name_Table.
For this right click on the entity in the workspace> edit entity> Database Objects> Schema Objects and add the schema name before table name( Name_Schema.Name_Table).

Hi all, Can anyone help me with this problem?
I have created a master detail table but have had problems with adding new detail lines.
The detail region contains an advanced table with an addTableRow bean set in the footer. I wish to navigate to a new page when the ‘add new row’ button is selected so I have set the ‘insert rows automatically’ property to false. I have been able to capture the event in my controller and call the new page and then access the application module, however I do not seem to be able to set a property in the new child line from an attribute in the parent line.

Initially the page was running, however it was only ever showing the id for the first line, regardless of which child table I was select add new line on. Now the new page errors and when I click on exception details the page does not show any error details
Can anyone see anything wrong with the code in the AM or have any suggestions as to what else may be wrong. Is it actually possible to do what I am trying to do? My aim is to have a table of questions and then a table region under the detail region of each question. Either no lines, one line or multiple lines can be added under each questions details. The questions may have slightly different required fields so I would like to navigate to a new page and then back to the main page when save is selected.
Any insights into what I am doing wrong or how I might achive my requirement would be very much appreciated.

I have created a new VO instance of the child EO in the application module and used the new vo in the seperate create page attributes, however when I query the current row against the parent vo I am still getting the value from the first line, not the selected parent line.

Error while uploading files into FND_LOBS table
Hi All,

I am new to OAF.Developing a standard upload page.
Getting the below error when i am trying to uploading the file in to FND_LOBS table.

This was working yesterday??? I was so close then spent a day trying to track down what broke. I tried changing the database primary key to deferrable, which just changed the error message to one that said I had too many primary keys.
Basically the following code inserts a blank row into the view object. It then looks for an existing record, if found row.remove() is called on the found row. I then update the primary key in the current record from data on the form. (The primary key is set as a dbsequence, but there isn't a trigger to set it.) then commit. I was thinking that it was the chronological order bit that is listed in the latest ADF documentation. The thing is, this did work. A case of turning off the computer, removing all class files, rebuilding the tables and running the app - now broken...
I would appreciate ideas on where to troubleshoot, or help on how to troubleshoot this one.

1. create a table in your database:
create table docs (id number(10), mov ordsys.orddoc);
2. write a simple BC4J app that just uploads a document to the "mov" column.
I suspect that ORDSYS.ORDDOC does not work well with your non-English database. This simple test can test whether that's the case.

OAF - Missing In or Out Parameter at Index Error

Here below is my requirement
I have developed a custom OAF page which queries a list of suppliers from a custom table. I have a button at the bottom of the table which. when clicked should query the SEEDED supplier page (this page is same as the supplier page accessed from the Payables Manager responsibility -> Suppliers -> Supplier Entry/Inquiry -> query any supplier -> the first page that shows up is the QuickUpdatePG). I want to pass parameters to this seeded QuickUpdatePG page with the values selected in my custom OAF Page. I am using SetForwardURL with little luck. This error is coming becoz ur using same bind variable :1 in the VO query.
extend the VO and use different bind variabale like (:1,:2);
and pass the parameters using setWhereClauseParames in CO..it will fix the issue.

I need to know how can i Update after i browse throw a rowset
and set the row attributes. Simple posting the changes and
commit is giving me following error.
I am getting JBO:25014 when i try to update a detail table for
selected number of rows.
I have a JSP page which allows the user to select either at
master level or detail level using Radio Button and
2 Text fields, one for date and other for comments at master
level. This will appear mandatorily.
In detail level, Number of rows which will be dynamically
populated. If this level is selected, and say 5 lines are
displayed, I will be having 5 text fields for dates and 5 text
fields for comments. Upon submit, I pass these text fields
values as params and receive in JSP page as String arrays in a
seperate validation page .
At the database end, I have Order Master table and Lines detail
table.
For some records in Order table, I am able to update records in
both the tables. But for certain records in Order table, I am
unable to update the detail table and throws me a JBO:25014
error: : Another user has changed the row with primary key
oracle.jbo.Key
This record is very similar to other records and i am unable to
update this record from sql*plus.
In the validation Page, where i receive the parameters, I use
View objects for Orders and Details, executeQuery for selected
Order. Then I use Row Iterator for each of the view objects, in
between the row iterator tags, I set the row attributes with the
individual lines values if Libe level is selected or the common
header date and comments value to all lines.
Then i post changes and commit.
The code is below for the way I update lines records.

entity fails.
Action: Choose from the following options:
--Verify that another user or operation has not modified the

domain type verify that the equals() method on these domains do
not fail when comparing the existing cached value with the newly
fetched value.
--For any attributes/columns that are updated by the database,
modify the entity attribute definition by selecting Refresh

JBO-35007 error after custom navigation
I have a SearchPersons page that has a Search Form and table for displaying results and Information About Person for displaying data about single person.
When there is many results, data is displayed in the same page, later user can access Information About Person page via commandLink in table. Other story is when query returns one result- navigation rule navigates directly to Information About Person page. I have created SearchPersonsBean for handling these two different situations.
The problem is when I try to go back from Information About Person page to SearchPersons page by clicking back button and try to use Search again, I get “JBO-35007: Row currency has changed since the user interface was rendered. The expected row....“. Also I need to have this person’s information in my result table, but I get it just after I get the JBO-35007 error.
When I am removing my if (items == 1) statement from SearchPersonsBean, I get usal behaviuor – even if search returns one person result is displayed in the same page.
So the problem is deffinetly in this if (items == 1) statement, but I don’t know how to fix this. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

I feel that the problem is because the data in the result table is not created, when after search there is only one result and bean navigates straight to Information About Persons page. After I go back with back button, there is no result dispalyed in my result table and when I refresh the page - JBO-35007 pops.
I have no idea how to force the result to be displayed before navigation to Information About Persons
