Getting Exception 1 =1 on Mobile Client
Hello experts,
When I sync'd from Mobile client, I am getting exception as following
Successfully connected with server.
Processing of inbound data began.
Exception occurred when processing synchronization events:1 >= 1 (java.lang.RuntimeException)
So, obviously no data is going to MI Server.
We am using MI 7.0 SP 12

This starts happening only in the following situation.
In an equipment(MAM30_031, when I edit characteristics (item 170), you will start getting this error. This never goes even after restoring to original values.
I eventually had to reset the client data to start working again.

Thank you.

Hi.
please implement the latest Patch for your MI Client:
<a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1044788">https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1044788</a>
This was a bug and has been solved already!

How to get the ADF Mobile Client extension
Hi all,
Please post some link in which I can download the ADF Mobile Client extension for Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 directly to my local disk. I have tried going through Help --> Check for updates in Jdeveloper but my proxy does not
allow it. so the only possible option for me is to download it to my local disk and should update it. I searched for it but was unable to find the appropriate link so I got to post here. Kindly help me out in finding it please....
Thanks,
Phanindra.Hi Timo,
Now I am more confused whether it is available or not. In the oracle site I have seen that I can develop mobile apps using trinidad components in which <trinidad-config> file can be used to define the different platforms on
which the application can be rendered. Is it true ?? When I created a mobile app I got only <trinidad-config> I didnt get <trinidad-skins> in which I can define the style sheet. There is a lot of confusion in how to proceed to
develop the application. Kindly help me on this. I need to develop a mobile app which is not only accessible in Blackberry but should also be able to get rendered on the other platforms also. Which is the best way to develop a
POC on this. Kindly help me timo.
thanks,
Phanindra. -
Get the current Logged on User on Mobile Client
Hi
I have to display the current logged in User of the Mobile client in my application. I think I have to use the User and UserManager API for that. But the thing is I am not able to instantiate the class to use the methods in it.I think I have to create a session object for using these classes, but in Session API I can see that I will have to create a new session and I want to use the current session.
Please tell me how to use these APIs and get the instance of User or UserManager.
Regards,
PriyaHi Priya,
You can try with:
User user = UserManager.getInstance().getCurrentUser();
The User interface has methods to get relevant information (for ie. getName() or getFirstName()), take a look on the [javadocs|http://help.sap.com/javadocs/nwmobile/SP3/laptops/com/sap/ip/me/api/user/User.html]

I am using jdev 11.1.1.3.0
I tried using my jdev -> check for updates -> Official Oracle Extension & Updates -> ADF Mobile Client - Developer Preview is not available version 11.1.1.3.37.56.63
But it prompted me to input username and password....which I never succeeded to logged in.
Can someone point out the url location to download ADF Mobile Client?

JBO-27122 error in ADF mobile client application for blackberry
Hi,
I am trying to develop a simple ADF mobile client application for blackberry. Currently, working only with Blackberry 9700 simulator. I am using the following for development:
- Jdev 11.1.1.3
- Oracle database lite 10.3.3
I have done all the steps as given in the oracle demo. But when I try to run the application in blackberry simulator, the page shows the following error:
ERROR: failed to change page
oracle.jbo.server.DBTransactionImpl.createPreparedStatement: JBO-27122: SQL error during statement preparation. Statement: select po_header_id from po_headers_all where po_header_id=1

Unable to create PreparedStatement with SQL select po_header_id from po_headers_all from po_header_id=1
Please suggest what could have been wrong while developing or deploying the application.
P.S. : The view object (header) shows data successfully when run in the application module. Also, a .db file gets created in the SD card folder. The synchronisation is a success when mSync.exe file is run in the <Oracle_Home>/Mobile/Server/Sdk/bin.Sorry my content got repeated.
you can go through this thread FOD mobile db sync with base adf server db not working
there is link that you can follow for synchronization (check second last message)

AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 3.1 attempts downgrade when accessing Customer VPN
I have Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client v3.1.03103 installed on Win7 Pro, which works fine with both my corporate vpn, and a number of customer vpns. For a particular customer though, The VPN setup fails and asks me to download and set up AnyConnect VPN Client 2.3.2016.
I have read other entries suggesting replacing VPNManifest.dat for machines running 2.5, but that doesn't appear to work here. Further, I have two directories, c:\Program Data\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client\ and c:\Program Data\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client\
Alternatively, can the two clients coexist?I also get this same error, except my operating system is Windows 7 Professional (SP1) 32-bit. Below is a bit more detail....
Details:
Browser: Chrome (but I've tried all 3 major browsers)
Firewall: off
Defender: off
Cleaned registry for Cisco and AnyConnect keys
reboot
Goto: vpn.agel.com (auto-install process begins)
It gets as far as downloading the client install file, but at the end of the download the following error appears:
Failed to install AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 3.1.00495 with installer error: Incorrect function. A VPN connection cannot be established.
Download from the manual link
Execute the install file (anyconnect-win-3.1.04063-web-deploy-k9)
I get the "Open File - Security Warning" dialog
Click on "Run"
The application never runs. Nothing further happens.
Hope this helps! -
Network Shares, Mobile Clients, Kerberos and Single Sign On Woes
Hi anybody,
I'm sure there is a really simple answer to my network share problems but I just can't seem to get them to work. Does anybody understand OD/Kerberos/SSO?
I am running 10.4.10 with DNS, AFP and OD.
My DNS is correctly configured, I can resolve IP into name and back again on server and client machines and it's not using a .local domain.
My OD is set up as a master with the correct LDAP search base settings, Netinfo is off for some reaseon but I can't turn it back on even if I wanted to. I have directory binding enabled as well as requiring clients to bind to directory.
My AFP is set to enable Bonjour registration and Authentication is set to Kerberos.
My client computers are able to access network accounts and my mobile clients are able to sync their home directories.
All seams to be working exceptionally well except for access to the shared network folders.
I am convinced that the network folder is set up correctly as I have RTFM many times and if I play with the acess settings such that anybody has read and write permisions, clients are able to access the data.
However, I wan't to reach my networking Nirvana where I can control access to the network share depending on group id. This shouldn't be difficult but it does seem unatainable for me .....
Having done a bit of trouble shooting and more reading, I can see that the clients are trying to access the share as an unauthenticated user ..... which is where it all goes wrong for me.
I thought that Kerberos SSO would have sorted this out but I don't think the clients are even trying to authenticate with the server as thay use the local Netinfo database to log in.
How do I get clients and mobile clients to do a Kerberised SSO at login?
Anybody !
Thanks in advance.bump?

Problem with Mobile clients - Reverse proxy
Hi Guys,
I have an issue that is driving me batty. I've set up a reverse proxy and am putting my mobile clients through it. I've used the Lync connectivity analyzer which is telling me that everything is good. However I am getting an error in my mobile clients to
the effect "Please check your account info and try again"
It looks like my IIS logs are showing 401 errors on the webticketservice.svc

ADF mobile Client App: Issue about using db sequence for populating row_id
Hi,
I'm working on an ADF mobile client app POC project. In the mobile app, new record can be created, the column type for row_id is VARCHAR2(15), I used the db sequence created in MC db, converted the seq number to a string, then set row_id via initDefaults method.
The new records are created and row_ids are set with the proper sequence numbers when first time launching the client app in blackberry simulator. But if I exit the app and re-launch the app again, I got net.rim.device.api.database.DataTypeExpection when trying to create a new record.
Could anyone please help me and let me know what could cause this issue? What should be the proper way to populate the row_id? Appreciate your response in advance!

using 10gR2 on Sun-Solaris. Getting consistently "db file parallel read" over 35 ms as an average wait for the past few months. No performance issues as such.
Using RAID 1+0. DB Size is 2 TB. Transactions are OLTP/Batch
Is this metric high or normal. How to justify that..
Looking at your results it's not really possible to say.
db file parallel read is a request for a number of randomly distirbuted blocks, and the time for a read is the time for the last block of the set to be returned.
Without knowing how many blocks are being requested at a time you can't really determine what constitutes a reasonable time. Given that you say OLTP + Batch, and have a large volume of scattered reads, it's quite possible that you have some queries on the Batch side doing very large index range scans - which would allow for some very large db file parallel reads.
I take it from the use of statspack that you're not licensed for the diagnostic and performance packs; it would be easy to query v$active_session_history to get some idea of the number of blocks per request as this is given by the P2 parameter. As it is. you may be able to get a rough idea by messing about with the various "physical read" numbers in the Instance Activity section of statspack.

EWS not deployed anymore to Lync 2013 Desktop Clients, Mobile Clients still working fine
Hello dear community,
the subject of EWS in conjunction with Lync 2013 has been discussed a lot here .
However, I could not find here any solution for my problem and I'm (almost) at my end.
Following scenario - 1 x Lync 2013 BE server, 1 x Lync 2013 Edge server, 1 x reverse proxy (IIS ARR). This Lync 2013 deployment
was installed about two months ago and integrated into existing IT landscape. Everything worked wonderfully - desktop and mobile clients were able to connect from inside and outside our organization, EMS was deployed to both desktop and mobile clients.
After that there are no any configuration changes made on Lync server, and yesterday, shortly before an important presentation
I've found, that EWS is not deployed anymore on all desktop clients. Mobile clients, however, continue to function smoothly.
I have tried the following: restart Lync and reverse proxy servers - without success, Lync Connectivity Analyzer shows all
green (internal and external), all relevant tests with Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer were passed, also analysis using Wireshark brought nothing.
I must to say that a week ago I installed SP3 for Exchange 2010 - can it may be because? Also appears more
times a day the following error message in Event Viewer on the back-end server (language of operation system is German):

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!Hi MiF,
The issue may cause by the Network Service account that the Lync Storage Service uses does not have access to the private key in used by the oAuth certificate. Please do with the following steps:
Open MMC and add the “Certificates” Snap-in (Local Computer)
Open Personal | Certificates and find the the Certificate being used for OAuth (use the Lync “Get-CsCertificate -Type OAuthTokenIssuer” cmdlet to find the serial number of the OAuth certificate).
Right-click | “All Tasks” | “Manage Private Keys”
Add Permissions for “Network Service” account (the defaults Full control and Read).
Please also check registry key on client computer.
If the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\ Office\15.0\Lync \[User SMTP Address]\Autodiscovery registry key does not exist on the user’s workstation, then it likely means that one of the following failures
have occurred:
Lync was unable to locate a valid DNS A record or SRV record for the Autodiscover site
Certificate assigned to Autodiscover site is not trusted by the Lync workstation

Not able to get the ObjectInputStream in my client across firewall
HI,
I have my application running on Oracle 10g server.I have a servlet which converts a pdf file to stream and writes it to outputstream
// the code in the server is as below
String location = stRealPath + "\\" + pdfloc;
byte[] returnData = null;
returnData = (byte[])pdfGenerateBean.getGeneratedPDFStream(hashData); // this method returns the byte array of the file
outStream.writeObject(returnData);
On my client I have a java class which reads this stream and creates a pdf file
// the client code is as below
InputStream inPdf = msg.sendPostMessage(hashPDF);
ObjectInputStream returnPdf = new ObjectInputStream(inPdf);
inPdf = null;
byte[] pdfStream = (byte[])returnPdf.readObject(); --------getting error here
File f = new File(".");
FileOutputStream out = null;
String loadDirectory = f.getAbsolutePath();
pdfFile = loadDirectory + pdfFilename;
out = new FileOutputStream(pdfFile);
out.write(pdfStream);
out.flush();
out.close();
// this is working fine acroos my network and i am getting the stream on my client outside my firewall.But when a client of mine accesses it from inside his firewall, he is getting this exception.
java.io.EOFException
at java.io.DataInputStream.readFully(Unknown Source)
at java.io.ObjectInputStream.readFully(Unknown Source)
at java.io.DataInputStream.readObject(Unknown Source)
How could the problem be? Is there any setting in the firewall due to which the Stream is not available.Or do i have to send data in any other format.
Thanks in advance
NavinThat's odd because firewalls usually let outbound requests pass through. My last-ditch firewall workaround is to use port 443. Once you have connected, it cannot know what is being transmitted, so it will sometimes let payloads through that are blocked on other ports.

Auto Discover Mobile Client Connectivity issue.
I am currently working on getting mobility working for our lync environment. I have followed online articles for setting up the mobility service and while I have not got a true reverse proxy put in place yet I have a question regarding the autodiscover.
When I go to https://lyncdiscover.ourdomain.com/autodiscover/autodiscoverservice.aspx/root/sipuri=[email protected]
I get the following results
{"AccessLocation":"External","Root":{"Links":[{"href":"https:\/\/lyncfe-v01.ourdomain.local\/Autodiscover\/AutodiscoverService.svc\/root\/domain","token":"Domain"},{"href":"https:\/\/lyncfe-v01.ourdomain.local\/Autodiscover\/AutodiscoverService.svc\/root\/user","token":"User"}]}}The problem is that is our local internal URL not the external URL. I believe the setting comes from the Topology Builder under the Standard Front End Server for External web services FQDN as that is what is set there. My question is should that be changed to the FQDN of the edge server or the FQDN of the reverse proxy server? Also should that be the public ourdomain.com or remain the internal ourdomain.local?I hope this makes sense. I am just taking this piece by piece as I was hoping to get my android phone working internally on Wifi at the very least.Also for testing purposes I just pointed our firewall and setup nat from 80 -> 8080 and 443 -> 4443 to test that the external website was working and it is that is how I was able to get the auto discover information. I know this is not secure or ideal I am simply taking this one step at a time to ensure I get this working properly.Thank you for everyone's help.
KKOk update on my progress.
we updated our UCC certificate that we bought for our edge server. That certificate had the following in it
sip.ourdomain.com
webconf.ourdomain.com
we added
dialin.ourdomain.com
meet.ourdomain.com
lyncdiscover.ourdomain.com
I left the External Web Services FQDN as lyncdiscover.ourdomain.com
I then put that cert on the Reverse Proxy server. I then tested using testconnectivity.microsoft.com and the autodiscover test and everything passed. This is the good news.
Now the bad.
When I run the connectivity test if I manually select the server and put in sip.ourdomain.com and choose port 5061 the test passes but if I choose port 443 which apparently the mobile clients use as I do not see a spot to change that at it fails stating
that
The SSL certificate failed one or more certificate validation checks.
The certificate couldn't be validated because SSL negotiation wasn't successful. This could have occurred as a result of a network error or because of a problem with the certificate installation.
Elapsed Time: 192 ms.
I checked the External Cert on the edge server and sip.ourdomain.com and webconf.ourdomain.com are listed.
The Edge Pool has been configured to have SIP Access, Web Conf service and A/V service all point to sip.ourdomain.com using ports 5061, 444, 443
Can someone point to me what I have setup incorrectly?
This seems like I am very close to actually having this working. Almost like I can see the light.
Thank you,
KK
