Getting OCI HANDLE ERROR

I running a big query and i got the result when I tried to save the result it gave me this error OCI HANDLE ERROR
and then checked on details it says tht some DLL file not found.
But this issue was not there previously.
Can you suggest me how to resolve this error ?

You should make the OCI NON block by using OCIAttrSet with with
the attrtype parameter set to OCI_ATTR_NONBLOCKING_MODE before calling OCIBreak().
You must then issue an OCIReset() call to reset the asynchronous operation and protocol.

Force reset OCI Handles

Dear OCI experts,
I'm quite beginner about OCI, and I guess I don't understand what is OCI handles well...
Can we get new OCI handles or reset OCI handles after connection failure?
We have been testing behavior of our application by killing dispatcher process and cause connection failure during global transaction. After that, transaction monitor could automatically restart global transaction. However, OCI handles were seemed to hold old information, and we got errors when the application called OCI function to do some operation to a database.
(In same situation, Pro*c EXEC can execute SQL without any error handling)
We changed our code to get OCI handles again when we get "connection EOF" errors. However, obtained handles are same as before and nothing has changed.
(We call same functions to get OCI handles in initialization process.)
Are there any way to force reset OCI handles or do I have to do something to reset Connection failures?

posting sample code will help. Are you doing OCIServerAttach() and OCISessionBegin() when you are retrying to connect? You should do both, because the socket is broken and the session may be killed if you kill the dispatcher.

Event handler error

I gets event handler error from the following applescript code if I leave the desktop space where "XLD" is running.
Is there a way to avoid this error and keep running the applescript?

Do you have any Mail plug-ins installed? Mail Act-on, MailTags or whatever? If so, try disable them and then see if the scripts work.

Just recently I am getting the following error message when trying to access web sites. I am using Firefox browser version 10.0.2. I get a pop up window stating "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: c.location is null" as the web site page is being displayed in browser winder. Then I have to click ok. It doesn't matter what web link/site I go to it happens. It is an issue with some plug-in?

I have advised McAfee's product team of the problem and this thread, and they're looking into it now.

Why do I get an invalid handle error when debugging, on a call to ncReset?

I am working with the example program obj2obj.c
I have a PCI-CAN/2 card installed.
I must call ncReset for *both* ports (CAN0 and CAN1), prior to any other commands or I will get a driver error (NC_ERR_DRIVER, Bxxx0002).
This happens even if the program terminates properly, closing all handles, and I then remove the ncReset commands.
Fine, I can live with the ncResets.
However, if I then try and debug the program using Microsoft Visual C++, it immediately chokes on the second call to ncReset( "CAN1", 0 ) and complains about an invalid handle.
If I add a status check to both of the ncResets and run the program from the DOS command line, I don't get any errors printed out
so the calls are working fine just running the program.
The driver updates listed do not appear to address this problem (1.4.1 uses LabView which I do not have and 1.4.2 is for Windows 2000)
Why are the ncResets required in the first place?
And why can't I single step through the second call to ncReset?

I had tried using only one ncReset previously and was experiencing driver errors. I removed the second ncReset as you suggested and now it seems to work with only one. I cannot get it to fail like it was doing.
However, at least one ncReset must be used or I get the following error:
ERROR ncConfig CAN1: Driver error (qual=000b000)
Press any key to continue
I get this error even when the program terminates normally. For example:
1) Build obj2obj with the ncReset command.
2) Execute and allow to terminate normally.
3) Edit obj2obj and remove ncReset command.
4) Execute and the error message is displayed.
Amazingly, I was also able to single step through most of the program this morning. I got the first three messages (of 10 total) before ge
tting the error:

It seems to be more random than first appeared and perhaps more related to MSVC than to the NI-CAN card. Any insight?
Also, having to include an ncReset is undesireable since I'd like to develop a CAN driver that could be called from multiple threads. I'd be very interested in your opinion on why I'm having trouble getting it to work without one.

No. Reader will not damage files. It is only meant to read pdf files. PDF files are frequently damaged when sent as email due to encoding issues.

OCCI Error - ORA-32102: invalid OCI handle

I'm completely new to OCCI and Linux and trying to run the simple OCCI program given in oracle site (http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/oci/occi/occibasic.html) to connect a remote Oracle DB server.

When I try to run it after compilation it gives the following error.
ORA-32102: invalid OCI handle
The error should be in the line: Connection* conn = env->createConnection("testdb", "testdb", "192.168.10.118:1521/ORADB");
I could track it by placing a cout<< there.
Why this is and how can I handle this error? Please post your experience.

I found the reason. It may due to the permission level of the user "testdb". When I tried with a different user it worked!

Every time I switch tabs I get this message "Exc in ev handl: Error: Bad NPObject as private data!" What do I do to stop this message from coming up??

If I open up firefox & have more than one tab I get this message "Exc in ev handl: Error: Bad NPObject as private data!" whenever I switch tabs. What should I do to fix this problem?? Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter

What will get rid of "EXC in EV handl: error bad NP object as private data"?

I am taking some online classes and whenever I am trying to do homework or send in my assignments or take a test this error report comes up: EXC in EV handl: error bad NP object as private data. What does this mean and how do I get rid of it? I need to be able to do my college work online and know that it is getting to the instructor. How can I know if my assignments and test and any other communication with my college are getting to the right place?

Disable "McAfee Site Advisor" extension which was just updated to 3.4.0, which probably took it out of the addons block list.
* "Ctrl+Shift+A" > find McAfee Site Advisor and use "Disable", and then restart Firefox.
* Do a Google Search no problem
* It seems that if you re-enable Site Advisor again, and restart Firefox you are okay. At least you know where to look if you get the error again or Google searches slow down.

After updating Firefox I am getting this message any time I do anything "Exc in ev handl:Error: Bad NPObject as private data"
