Getting quite frustrated with my iPhone 4S. Can't access WIFI and/or Bluetooth nor will my computer allow it to be a "hotspot" unless physically tethered to computer. It started acting up after download....it also has messed up some app
I've only had this phone since Sept. and have already had to have the speaker replaced. NOW I can't access wifi and/or bluetooth (both are grey). I can't use the Personal Hotspot either (and the passcode no longer shows up). I can only access internet via the phone through the USB. This started over the past few days (and after I updated to IOS).
Some of my apps no longer work either...over 100+ hours of audiobooks on Audible can't be accessed as the Audible app just shuts off.
Any recommendations on how to recify? I'm pretty rural so downloaded anything takes going to the next town over to get a signal from the library... and all of my searching is eating into my 5gb limit through ATT....so it is a bit irritating
called Apple Care this a.m....new upgrade on 12/31/12 is supposed to fix the "bug"

Why can't you connect with either device? Related to what update? You say that you cannot update. I'm guessing since you refer to a computer at work, that you do not have a computer at home? I have a theory. You don’t want to controll your car, you want to controll somebody who is driving the car. Volvo XC 60 is a nice family car, usually used by married men between age of 35-45, probably with small children, so it’s very unlikely that you want to controll your teanage kid, mainly because probably even if you would give him/her to drive the car in the neighborhoud, I don’t think that he/she would be „several hundred miles away”… If your child is not young teneage anymore, and he/she has his/her own life, but you want to control him/her, that is sick… So I am convinced that you want to controll your husband who probably travelling often! Am I wright?

What could you do it's to put in the car a GPS survelling system, however I don't think that you could do it without your husband knowledge, otherwise he won't be able to start the engine... -

The T-mobile phone is advertised to be SIM-free. This does NOT mean unlocked. Unlocked iPhone 6's are not yet for sale in the US.

If you mean what my carrier calls "ringback tones", it all depends on what your carrier offers. Ringback tones aren't a feature of the phone. They are a carrier feature and will work on any phone. I use them on my iPhone. Drives my brother crazy.

After reviewing your post, I believe your device is under Activaltion Lock. The following article will provide you with more information about the feature:
iCloud: Activation Lock
With iOS 7 or later, Find My iPhone includes a feature called Activation Lock, which is turned on automatically when you set up Find My iPhone. Activation Lock makes it harder for anyone to use or sell your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch if it’s ever lost or stolen.
With Activation Lock, your Apple ID and password are required before anyone can:
Turn off Find My iPhone on your device
Sign out of iCloud on your device
Erase and reactivate your device
Important: Make sure to remember your Apple ID and password, and that your password is unique and secure—someone else shouldn’t be able to guess it. For more information, see the Apple Support article Security and your Apple ID.

Sync single song via iTunes with my iPhone 5 & can't sync music with my iPhone

I have two questions about iTunes and my iPhone 5.
1) I have my full music library connected with iTunes and most songs are not bought via iTunes. Now I have alle artists listet up with their albums.
Can I now sync only one single song from an album with my iPhone 5? If I want to sync music with my iPhone I can only choose between Playlists, Artists, Albums and Genres but not single songs. Is there a possibility to sync single songs from a full album?
2) The other problem is when I want to sync music (and only music!) iTunes starts syncing with my iPhone 5 and nothing happens. After a while a get an error that the synchronisation is stopped because it couldn't start syncing. Why? What can I do?
I use a windows 8 laptop with the newst version of iTunes and iPhone 5!Which iTunes version is installed on your computer?

You went from the wrong direction. Start with Nikon website and the WU-1a adapter. click on the download at the App store....

You can't add music to the cloud, whether it will show there for streaming and redownloading depends upon what country that you are in. If you are in a country where music is available in the cloud then you don't have to download the music from the store, if you turn Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under the 'show all' heading) 'on' then you should be able to stream purchased music in the Music app without downloading it - your phone will need to be online in order to stream, and if using 3G/4G then it will use some of your data allowance.
If you download an album or a track then it will be downloaded onto your phone. You can't upload music to the cloud from an iOS device. Whether music that you've bought shows for streaming depends upon what country that you are in and if the album or track remains in the store (unless you've subscribed to iTunes Match), and if you are connected to a network. -
why do i get the following message when i attempt to open my backup file for lightroom cc? "Lightroom cannot use the catalog named "Lightroom Catalog" because it is not writable and cannot be opened". This message just started coming up after downloading lightroom cc (previously using lightroom 5)...am i backing up properly or not???
Open Pictures folder and move the files named lrcat-journal and lrcat.lock to Desktop.
Make sure that , they are not inside Pictures folder any more and try to open backup from Lighrtroom and check..
Any LRcat file with .lock extension , move it to Desktop. -
- started last week after downloading 8.3 - Apple logo keeps coming up with the reboot/download line below. Seems to happen after opening a site to view information or pictures or.......
this is getting more & more ridiculous......and worsening by the hour. Now every click on a Pages file makes it reboot....and just trying to save some files prior to doing a total restore as not sure what gets saved in the "back up" prior to the restore. Am starting to love my 5 year old original IPad as slow as it is, even more....

while trying to install latest itunes version i get this message "Older version of Bonjour can not be removed" and the download gets interrupted and doesnt finish. Can someone help?????
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
