Getting sync operation status as Error for Activity Object Eloqua Bulk 2.0

I have created an Import Definition and later I tried to push data for it, but for sync operation it gave sync status as error.
Why this import definition returned error for sync operation?
Below is the sample snippet for import definition I created for Activity object.

Try deleting iTunes from your computer. Do not delete your iTunes library. Then download and install a fresh copy if iTunes. Reboot your computer after installation of iTunes.
Then reboot your phone. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
Reconnect the phone to your computer running iTunes and see if the sync process will go through.

HT1386 directory (harddrive) into my IPOD Touch 4. I get an unknown reason -50 error for their names during syncing attempts. 1 album is greyed names on my IPOD. What can I do?

I bought some mp3 music files from Amazon that will not sync from the Itunes directory onto my IPOD Touch 4. What can I do to get them to sync? I am getting a -50 unknown reason error message when the system tries certain songs. I also bought a whole album from Amazon in mp3s that downloaded to my Itunes directory, yet only shows up as greyed out on my IPOD. What can I do? Most of the rest of my songs have synced with the IPOD. I called Amazon's help line but they say I have to call Apple's help line, and it is just past the end of my year's service. I wondered if it was due to the new Amazon cloud software, but they claim it isn't since the songs play on my hard drive. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks for the information. I actually fixed my problem after many hours of experimentation in two different ways.
I found that when I filled in more information in the catalog about songs on mixture albums, I had to always check the COMPILATION box to have those songs sync correctly. Apple didn't say anything about that. Without the checkmark on each song in the compilation album, the song would cause a 50 error.
I also found that if I moved the problem songs (that caused the error 50 message) out of my Itunes Library and reimported them, that stopped them from causing the error 50. So I deleted them and reimported them into the library. I found that some of the songs in the Itunes catalog had showed weird locations with addresses like C:\\\documents and settings...instead of the real pathway that might have been C:\documents and settings.. Some pathway addresses had become corrupted for some reason in the information that my Itunes library stored. So when I reimported them into the ITunes library from another location, their pathways were fixed and they no longer caused the 50 error while syncing. I painstakingly identified each song that was failing and deleted each specific song to clear up the problems.
That said, I do appreciate this board and the fact that others are willing to take time to help other users. Much obliged.

PM order: operation short text mandatory for active operations only?

Hi experts,
a quick question regarding operation short texts in the PM order:
I would like to make short texts in PM order operations mandatory.
When I set the short text to "mandatory" in the "operation list customizing" field selection (Tcode OIOPL), all of the operations in the order shown in the operation list (standard 0010 to 0170) get the short text field marked as mandatory.
This means that a short text is expected even for operations which are not used/active, which is a pain if I only want to use operations 0010 and 0020...
Does anyone know of an OSS note that fixes this?
Or is there some other customizing that needs to be done?

Hi,
There is no fix for this as its not an error as such. The screen processing does not distinguish between active and non-active operation lines. So if short text is mandatory it will be required on every operation line. OIOPL is not suitable for marking fields mandatory for that reason - ok for hiding fields or making display only.
Consider the exit as suggested.

#multivalue error for detail object in webi report

Hi,
I am facing #multivalue error in my webi report.
I am using 2 queries
Query 1
Account Number
Cost Center
Query 2
Account Number
Order Number
Now I want to display Account Namer,Cost Center and Order Number in the report.
So I merged Account Number from both the queries, and created a detailed object "Order" and associated it with [Query 1].[Account number].
But Order displays values for some accounts, and displays Nulls and #MULTIVALUE error for some accounts.
Please through some light on this issue.
I tried every possible solution from my side, but couldn't get it work. It is happening because there is a 1:N relationship between Account Number and Order. I can not use any aggregate function because it will give only the Max or Min value, but I want list all the value of for each Account Number. Avoid Duplicate Row Aggregation was also checked but it didnot help.

Hi Shreya,
There are few things that you need to consider while displaying the data.
1 - Can an Account Number be associated to more than one Order Number? If yes, then your solution will not work and that's the reason you are seeing #MULTIVALUE (i.e. Multiple Order Numbers for the same account number)
2 - Why would you want to create two data providers? Would it not be possible for you to bring in all the 3 objects in the same data provider? The only reason I could think of is that they are not related
3 - Always make the lower granularity objects common across the data providers. I do not know about the relation between different entities of your database, but I would suggest something like
Query 1 - Order Number, Account Number
Query 2 - Order Number, Cost Center
and merge Order Number...and create detailed object for either Account Number / Cost Center. It all depends on the relation between the tables.

Namespace deletion error for ghost objects

Hi people.
I need to remove a namespace in ESR.
I have first deleted all objects and activated it and then I tried to remove the namespace from the Namespace Definition List.
After removed the namespace item and saving the change, I receive the following error:
Cannot save object Namespace Definition
Namespace cannot be deleted since the software component version still contains objects in namespace http://www.sapcons.com/Edm_EE/
Delete the objects first
In fact, running the Export functionality and saving the summary result in a file I have a list of objects but, at this point, I don't know how to delete. Could be a cache problem? I cleaned all cache available in Administration web page but without result.
Could someone help me?

Double clicking the software component, delete all the namespaces present in the software component, and do not save it.
Now delete all the default datatypes in all the namespaces present in the software component and now save the software component and activate the changes.
Now double clicking the software component> Goto Software component version menu> from the drop down select the delete option. this will delete the software component from IR.
Now goto SLD and select the software component and remove it.
Then clear the SLD cache. Now the software component will be deleted.

Querying Operational (Not DW) Database For Active Incidents

We (my company) are mostly happy with SCSM but the biggest request we hear about is that there is no easy way for technicians to see their Active/Pending tickets when out at locations. We know about web analyst portals offered by 3rd parties such as
GridPro, Cireson, et al. however the funding (we are in public education) for this has never been realized and the first request to get shot down. For some reason I wondered if it would be possible to query the operational database myself for a list

This query is run against the ServiceManager database.
(We extended the Incident class so that we could get detauls from users such as Location (56+ physical locations), Room Number, and Alternate Schedule (for users who are not full time at one location).
This query works on my end and assuming the AssignedToUser and AffectedUser are not NULL properly display the list of incidents for a given technician (or all technicians) however there is one major flaw. If a ticket gets assigned to Technician A and
gets reassigned at some point to Technician B (or reassigned again to Technician C) there are duplicate records coming up for each AssignedTo user. If you search for all technicians the duplicates show but if you filter by individual technicians then
each tech has a version of the incident appear in their list.
Does anyone out there know of a way to query for the latest 'version' of an incident so that only the most recent AssignedTo is listed.
Note: Feel free to use this query as a building block for your own potential portal or use, although obviously if you figure it out please share!

first off, welcome :) second..not bad for a beginner. The operational database is basically a no-man's land where dangerous monsters roam. And it's dark. ;)
third: a warning..you shouldn't query the database directly. But..we all do it anyway. :)
I recommend using "with (NOLOCK)" on _all_ tables, not just the incident table. The Operational Database is supposed to be hands off..even simple "select" queries can interfere with the data access service and the hundreds of queries
that run automatically against this database. So, to be safe..always use "with (nolock)" on every table that you query.
If you want unassigned incidents to show up, replace your inner joins with left outer joins. That's a SQL thing..you want to display all incidents whether they have related users or not. So, left outer join.
The reason you're seeing multiple assigned-to users is because "deleted" relationships between objects aren't truly deleted for about 2 days. So, in your join criteria, simply add "AffectedUserRel.IsDeleted=0". This will filter out any
"deleted" relationships from your result set. Obviously you'll have to add that filter for each relationship table instance in your query.
Lastly: I strongly recommend you use the SDK instead of querying the database directly. There's a learning curve, but it's far safer and it's actually supported :)

Getting a sid's generation error while activating DSO

We are created a standard dso on top of generic data source. This data source is created on top CDHDR and CDPOS tables through function module.
While acting the DSO , We are getting a sid generation error.
Please let me know the process to resolve the issue or tell me any other alternative solution is available to overcome this situation.
