Getting the un updated records from receiver JDBC

Hi Friends,
I am doing the Proxy - jdbc integration. Consider my proxy sends 10 records to JDBC to update. Consider bcoz of some reason the jdbc updates only 8 records i need to get the 2 records back to Proxy which is not updated in the DB.
Should i need to use the Proxy and JDBC channel as syn or seperate integration should be built. I have seen some documents, that we can get the count of the updated records from jdbc receiver, but i dont need the count i need the record which is not been updated.
How can i do it. please give ur inputs.

Unless you are using SP on JDBC side and explicitly build a record set to send back the data it might not be possible. I am not sure if a custom record set could be returned in JDBC sync receive adapter. You can realize this by updating some other table on JDBC side and then polling that table to update ecc back.

Trying to get the top N records from a query.

Hello,
Im trying to get the top N records of a random query. I've been looking for a decent solution for a while now and the 2 solutions I've come across are:
select *
from (select * from qrs_klantgroepen order by code) a
where rownum < 10
ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis
The query works when I remove the order clause from the subquery, but it's mandatory to get the results I need.
The next solution:
select *
from (select code, row_number() over (order by code) from qrs_klantgroepen) a
where rownum < 10
ORA-00923: FROM keyword not found where expected
Apparently the construct used here isn't supported by my oracle version.
I'm using oracle Oracle8 Enterprise Edition Release 8.0.5.2.1.
Is there another way I can achieve the results I want?

How to get the last inserted record from a table ?

I work on Oracle 8i and need to get the last
record inserted in a table.
I have tried using rownum and rowid pseudo-columns
but that doesn't work.

I'm not sure about 8i features.
I assume here that you don't have 'Date-Time' stamp columns on the table which is the easiest way to determine the last inserted row in the table.
If not try the following :-
select address, piece, SQL_TEXT
from V$SQLTEXT
where upper(sql_text) like '%INSERT INTO TABLE_NAME%'
Substiute the TABLE_NAME with the name of the actual table.

I recommend that you
Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.

All you have to do is connect your new iPod to the computer that has the library for your old iPod.
When iTunes comes up, click on your new iPod under Devices.
At the top of the Summary Page click Music.
Click Synch Music.
Do the same thing for Photos, Apps, Movies and so on...
Now just synch the iPod.

There is no way you can activate Facetime on an iPod touch purchased in the UAE. The government there required Apple to lock off Facetime at the hardware level and there's no way to unlock it. Reinstalling iOS, regardless of country, will not help. If you want Facetime, you will need to sell your UAE-version iPod and buy one there in India.

Even with that link though, I was still left puzzled as it didn't give multiple versions, just a 32 bit and 64 bit version.
I tried the 64 bit and it didn't work, so I assumed that was what had already been installed in the update.
Now installed the 32 bit version, and fingers crossed. At least it starts up now!

I am using Jdev 10.1.3 and ADF BC. I am trying to do deep copy in a master/details view, after the new child record is created, I want to update the foreign key attribute. I know I can get the list of attribute definitions from the row in the view object, which include the view link accessors, I am wondering if I can get the view link definition from the view link accessors, so that I can get the source and destination attribute names.

whenever i changed the start date of pernr and after click on the save button one smartform should be generate..
that smartform has to generate based on the pernr and start date ..
so for this requirement i have to get the pernr and startdate from that pa40 screen or that corresponding database table
so if we take that data base table at this time we should know the which record updated previously so we can retrieve that record entire information..
so if we take that screen field values how can i get the values from pa40 screen to required smartform...
i am struggling on this issue,,

To start: i had some difficulty in understanding your requirement... but i'll give it a shot anyway even though i'm not a crack on HR (stating that: i'm not a crack on anything for that matter)
Sounds like you need to modify PA40 (either with a user-exit, BADI, enhancement-point or simply a modification) to capture the 'SAVE' and to trigger your smartform. Either way, most likely you will have the data you need (PERNR and STARTDATE).

Scripting Automatic Updates to get the Recommended updates, not Important or Optional

Where I work the policy is to download Recommended updates, and I'm getting very tangled up working out how to select them with a script. Can anyone help me please?
If my query includes AutoSelectOnWebSites=1 then I get the Important updates. Without that I get the Optional ones. I'm getting the impression that the Recommended ones are chosen by the Windows o/s, not by the web site, but I'm not sure and can't find
the algorithm.

Some download everything, and the ones which don't select updates using a criteria with the search as per

I don't think there's an IUpdate property or search criteria which correstponds to Recommended updates, I can't see one anyway and I've spent ages looking. I'm wondering if Windows chooses, not the web site, based on its knowledge of what's installed.
The AutoSelectOnWebSites property isn't what I need. It selects updates which the Windows Update gui calls Important when "Give me recommended updates the same way I receive Important updates" is
unticked. The requirement where I work is to install the Recommended updates. I've tested it several times and I've confirmed that on plenty of the Recommended updates
AutoSelectOnWebSites is set to false (on all of the updates in the example below)
