Getting V2 style Step Trigger Content using API

I have written a C++ code for getting forms trigger text using API. In which, I am not able to get V2 style step trigger text from Forms6/6i API. Can anyone help me to sort this out?

Kannan,
V2-Trigger-Steps are sub-objects of pl/sql triggers. They are exposed from Forms6i patch 3 (or 4?) and onwards. For an example on how to get to them checkout FormsAPI Master from www.orcl-toolbox.com ... in there you will find a script that does this.

I need to create a query search using API, to get any content where "Question" or "Answer" attribute contains "Why".

If I change the query condition to c1 only, the query works fine,
e.g. Query query = new SimpleQuery( "TVLContent", "FAQs", c1 , Arrays.asList("name", "id", "Question", "Answer"));
If I change the query condition to c2 only, the query works fine.
e.g. Query query = new SimpleQuery( "TVLContent", "FAQs", c2 , Arrays.asList("name", "id", "Question", "Answer"));
But when I create a new condition (c1.or(c2)) doesn't work.
e.g. Query query = new SimpleQuery( "TVLContent", "FAQs", c1.or(c2) , Arrays.asList("name", "id", "Question", "Answer"));
How to fix this?
What's the best way to create this query using API?

Just append the link(say www.google.com) directly to the messages internal table. It will automatically take it as link.

A little problem getting the style tag of a html file seperate from rest

I'm making a program that will take in a URL and then search through that URL for all a, link, embed, frame, and img tags, find their sources, and download them. I also want to search through the style and find anything that uses a URL (ex. background-image:url('somepic.jpg')) and download that file. In the end, you should be able to go to the directory you saved it all in, open index.html, and see an exact replica of the original site. I've never tried it, but it seems like using an existing html parser would be a lot easier. I've worked with xml dom parsers, and it's not really that hard. I don't imagine working with an html dom would be too difficult either, at least it wouldn't be as hard as doing it by hand. Google for java html parser and see if any of them suit your needs.

How to obtain Role name in OIM 11g using API's

I have a scenario in which I create Role/Group in OIM 11g & it gets provisioned in AD [=works fine] & other part is when i delete role in OIM 11g then it should
get deleted from AD.I have written postprocess event handler to achieve this.
In role creation part i get all parameters using "orchestration.getParameters();" , but when i delete role then "orchestration.getParameters();" is empty,so i am
not able to get role name.
Is there a way to get role name while deleting roles using API ?

Displaying content item -(IContentItem) in portlet using Content Server API

Hi,
I am using the latest Content server API in my remote server to get the published content items. I have to display the content item in the JSP portlet.
So how to display the content item in the portlet, if you have the IContentItem Object retrieved from the content server ? Is there any mechanism to get the HTML code/JSP code that corresponds to the IContentItem object?(All the content item will be an html or jsp )
Currently we are extracting the publish url and opening an http connection to retrieve the html, which is not a good solution if you have mutiple portlets in the same page. So please suggest how can I display the content item (IContentItem Object) in the portlet.?

We have to get all the claims providers associated with a web application and its identity claim encoding type using API.
For example:
If the identity claim of windows authentication is user name and the user name is a string, then we should get
"i:0#.w".
If the identity claim of forms authentication is
email and the provider name is "fba" , then we should get "i:0!.f|fba|".
The below link shows us to get all claims providers associated with a web application, but how do we get the identity claim encoding type of each provider?

If the requirement is to be able to convert claim identities to windows identities that can be used with other LOB/legacy application that still relies on NTLM/Windows Auth, then I would recommend to explore C2WTS.

How can I get (using API) the current sort column for some report ? For example something like "fsp_sort_1_desc" - if the user sorts by the first column ?
I cannot use the :REQUEST for this, sometimes the current sort column is not in the :REQUEST, but it is still active.
I thought it was posssible by using
APEX_UTIL.GET_PREFERENCE (

function, but I don't really know which preference should I pass as parameter.
looking in WWV_FLOW_PREFERENCES$, i saw preferences_names like FSP4000_P527_R6281510839654570_SORT , I'm not sure how this name is formed.
I'm using generic columns for that complex report (which has a flexible number of columns shown), and the idea is that sometimes I have to overwrite that sort column, in case the user chose the version of the report with fewer columns than the previous one.
Can I get (using API) a list of all preferences set for some user ?

OIM11gr2 - How to get currently logged in user details using oim api

Hi All,
I have a requirement to retrieve currently logged in users profile in the process adapter.
I have tried with getSelfProfile in tcUserOperation and also ContextManager.getOIMUser API's however, in both the cases i am getting xelsysadm details only.
Also as know request details in Process task mapping doesnot work for OIM11g onwards (its returning column not found exception )
DOes any one has idea how to achieve this.
PS. - i am using platform to retrieve API's.

When you say "develop with IE9 in mind not IE11" do you mean use SWF instead of HTML5? I used the standard question types, and a converted PowerPoint presentation. I didn't add anything out of the ordinary.
