Google Cloud Messaging for Android?

Hi,
Have anyone seen an extension supporting the new Google Cloud Messaging system for Android?
All those I have found are still based on the old C2DM system that doesn't allow new projects.

I have the same trouble.
Normally old ANE is working with the new Google Cloud Messaging system.
I use freshplanet ANE : https://github.com/freshplanet/ANE-Push-Notification
The author tell me, his ANE work with the new cloud.
Just change the value in registerForPushNotification(). Instead of the email adress, put your new projectId.
For the moment i dont receiver token from Google Cloud.
I don't know if something change in the xml descriptor.
If I resolve, I post it here.

Let me walk you through the flow with the assumption that the user is on an Android device and "connected" to the Agentry server.
An emergency workorder is created in SAP and assigned to the technician.
The SAP backend system will notify the Agentry server via an XML message that there is a workorder to send.
Agentry will get the details and if the user is connected attempt to send the workorder to the device via the Push mechanism
If the push fails to reach the Agentry client, the Agentry server will send a GCM message to the user
When the user returns to the Agentry client, the normal push processing / fetch will occur to receive the workorder from the server assuming the push retrys are in effect.
So, essentially you should not have to do anything to get the GCM to work as a secondary notification mechanism.
If you are looking to do something else with GCM that would be outside of Agentry.

Issues with google cloud messaging

I'm developing an android application with the google cloud messaging api (google play services are up to date). when i want to register my phone via mobile connection, there is always a "SERVICE_NOT_AVAILABLE" exception. if i try it via wireless lan it works.
My phone is a xperia z (C3306) with firmware 10.4.B.0.569

Implementing GCM (Google Cloud Messaging) service to Business Catalyst

How can i implement a GCM (Google Cloud Messaging) service in our DGTEC website CMS (Business Catalyst). We need a module to send a notification to users so they know new user manual uploaded/update downloads/etc... and that they need to update the manual through the app. Is this possible?

Are the files uploaded through the back-end? Cause, if you build an app and you upload them through the File System APIs you might be able to build the notification mechanism yourself in the app.

Google cloud print for officejet pro 8600 - could not get printer information from hp.

I just purchased a new OfficeJet Pro 8600 today. Everything seems to work great except for the connector to Google Cloud Print. I can print from AirPrint, as well as emails to the hpeprint.com address, but when I try to register via the google site, I receive the "could not get printer information from HP" error message.
The printer is connected via wireless ethernet, and seems to work find otherwise. I have no restrictions on who can send print jobs, and I have changed the email address for hpeprint.com a few times, as suggested in other forum threads, but it can never connect to the the Cloud Print service. I am at the latest firmware level listed on the HP website. I have tried to initiate the connection from multiple PC's as well as multiple web browsers.
This was a big factor in purchasing this printer. Help anyone?

Hey rch33k, I am sorry for the ongoing issue that you are having accessing Google Cloud Print. This is being looked into as this is not a singular issue and is affecting other customers as well. Engineers are currently investing this problem to try and provide a solution to it. I want to again apologize and thank you all for your patience in this matter. They only other thing to attempt at this time is to contact Google for further assistance to see if anything can be done on their end. Hopefully this will be fixed quickly

Adobe Creative Cloud app for Android (preview) compatibility?

HI - I notice that Adobe have released an Adobe Creative Cloud (preview) app for Android. This is very welcome as it would allow me to share files across Windows desktop, Android tablet and, if necessary, iPad.
But it says it isn't compatible with my Hudl2 - why?
Could it be because my tablet is wifi only? (I hope not.)

Problem with Cloud app for android

See the attached pic - I had 3 bars of 4G and all other apps were able to connect to the net, but the Cloud app refused to believe it. Is there a support email address I can also send this to?

Have you tried powercycling the phone (turning it off for few seconds and turning it back on)? The cloud app should be able to determine if you're connected to the either 4G or your wifi network. If it won't work after the power cycle, you may uninstall and re-install the app.

Google API Keys for GCM in Chromium looks like dont work

I am trying to use the service of Push Messaging function of Chrome(Chromium), theoretically I have to get a ChannelId where the communication would be established between the browser and Google Cloud Messaging(GCM), in Chrome I can get that Channel without problems, but in Chromium I don't get Channel, I don't get error, only I don't have anything, I contacted some people in the forums for Chromium and they suggest that the API keys for this funcionality(Google CLoud Messaging) maybe are not correct or there is a problem with the API keys embedded in the build of Chromium for Arch.
I don't know if this is the correct place to post this question, the people of Chromium suggested me that I contact to the package mantainer to reviwe if there is a problem with these API keys.
I am using Arch 3.9.4-1, Chromium 27.0.1453.93 (Build para desarrolladores 200836).
If this is not the correct place to post this kind of question and somebody knows where can I post it please tell me, and if somedoby can help me with my question I would be thankful.

Do you have any progress on these issues? Im working on the same solution right now (SWV + GoogleMaps JS v3 ) I've got some weird issue when i try to spawn a StageWebView inside a View on IOS, it appears inside a scroller and is not open for finger interaction anymore. I use the eskimo framework, but then again, nothing fancy going on there for the rest. I've tried all of the the stage.stageScaleMode options but non of them work. Got any help?

I have developed my android application (AIR for Android) in Flash Professional CS5.5. It's completed and fully tested on multiple android phones. Now I want to add Google Ads in my application to make some money.
What I already know:
I know that Adobe provides AdMob native extension API which allows you to add Google Ads in your app. But unfortunately, it's not free.
What I want:
I want a free resource through which I can add ads in my application.
Please guide me how can I achieve this?

The Error Message 'Application descriptor file cannot be parsed' shows when compiling (Ctrl + Enter) Adobe AIR for Android applications on Flash Professional CS5.5
This is happening for most of the pupils and staff at our school and they are unable to complete their work.
This also happens on a fresh copy of windows and CS5.5 without any updates and also with all latest updates.
I have tried it on 32-bit and 64-bit CS5, Windows, Air and Java with the same error every time.
There are a small minority of users where this works fine for them with no issue.
I have tried re-setting user profiles.
I have tried a local admin and domain admin account with the same issue
I have noticed however that if the file is moved to the shared area it will compile. If it is on their documents area it will not compile. The users have full control in both locations. This is fine for staff but we are unable to give full control or modify access to the shared area for the pupil's
I have been through the online support section and it directed me to phone Adobe Customer care who informed me that all support has been discontinued for CS5, CS5.5 and CS6 and they will only support creative cloud.
Any ideas what to try next? There is no other information about this error and I cannot work out what is causing it.

I have tried and able to package an apk using your XML file.Could you please make sure your XML file starting from line 1 and coloumn 0.Any space will results in the error (Application Descriptor file cannot be parsed)

Upgraded to firefor for android mobile 8.0 and cloud printing stopped working?

After upgrading to firefox 8.0 on my android devices (phone and tablet) and intalling cloud printer 1.0.2 addon the cloud printing stopped working. When I try to cloud print I see my printers select the one I want and it says Print job added,but no printing occurs. I go to cloud printer manager and it says no print jobs. Cloud printing used to work on old version of firefox the on preceding 8.0. I know google cloud printing works because I can go to gmail webmail in a browser (not firefox) and print a gmail message via the cloud and it works. How can I get old version of firefox back on my mobile and why does'nt new version work?

I would like to know the exact error message when you sign in, in the meanwhile please try the following steps assuming its Windows, let me know if its a MAC:
1) Go to Start button>> Control panel>> Uninstall a program.
2) Check if you see Browser safeguard there, if yes then uninstall it.
3) Open Internet explorer>> Tools>> Internet options>> Connections>> Lan Settings>> and it should be like this.

Error message for google earth

I get getting error message when I try to use "Google Earth" The message is 'See file PPC errlog' for all printout messages for this application" How can I fix this?

Ha! I fixed it dammit!
I read dozens of posts all over the web with no fix, so I hope this helps folks.
I downgraded from v.7 to v.6 (which is a little tricky to do). Trash v.7.
Then when get to this webpage: http://www.google.com/earth/download/ge/agree.html
Click Customize and choose Previous Version 6.2. Install that.
Then (as others have written) turn off internet access. Open Google Earth. Go into Preferences and turn off "show startup tips" under the General tab. Quit Google Earth. Turn internet back on.
Startup Google Earth v. 6.
Seems to work.

Google Maps for Flash in AIR for Android: ~2 minutes to start up

I have a "Hello World" style AIR for Android app using Flash Builder 4 Burrito/Flex Hero.
When debugging on device (stock HTC Desire) using Flex version v1.20 of Google Maps for Flash (map_flex_1_20.swc), it takes 1 minute and 50 seconds for the app to startup to display a simple map:Map3D on the home screen. The same app without the map:Map3D object starts in just a few seconds.
There are no startup delays using the simulator.
Anyone know what might be causing the severe startup delay when running on device?

Hi - yes no problem: I've uploaded a sample app here: http://crackedfrog.com/files/AndroidAIRMap.zip.
You'll need to add a valid Google Maps API key and corresponding URL back into the maps:Map3D object:

This shows the same behaviour as described above - around 2 minutes to start up when debugging on the device.
