Google meta info in template?

I put my Google meta info in the header section of my template, but it's not transferring to the individual pages. Yes, I'm putting the code on the template whwere want the ads to appear. I check in live view and preview in browser. It seems like it should work.
Here is my head section.

Wait, if you remove the editable region from your Template's <head> tag, your child pages won't be able to receive
     a) new styles
     b) additional scripts from Spry Widgets, etc...
     c) unique meta page descriptions.
Google site verification code is only required on the domain's home page (index.html), not on sitewide pages.

Google Ads are something entirely different and the code for those goes inside the <body>.

HTML tag problem when adding Google rich snippets in templates?

The new Google plus Rich Snippets allow us to add a schema tag like this example:

I can do this on my .html pages but as soon as I make any changes to the .dwt template for the page it reverts all of the tags back to <html>
How do I stop this happening?
I have tried:
Changing preferences in Dreamweaver's default code rewrite settings to "'Never Rewrite Code' for HTML document type " but this does not appear to fix things.
Very frustrating as I have lost days of work.
Any help would be appreciated

I've done what you have said (I think) however something is not quite right. I am asssuming that I need to add the schema below the <BODY> tag if I make the changes to the template as you have suggested.

I must be getting close but it just shows the normal Google plus stuff.
I need to get your microdata markup into the body of the document somewhere - otherwise Google will use the something like <title> and <meta description> tags and guess at an image.
Any idea where I am going wrong or is it a quirk in Dreamweaver?

Where is personal info in templates from?

In the templates drop down, Pages fills in some personal info in most of them- name, address, email address, etc. Where does it get this information? About a year ago I changed my email address and templates is using my old address. I know I can change it when I turn the template into an actual document, but I'd like to change it at the meta level to completely get rid of the old address. Anyone know?

It should be in Address Book, in your personal card.
The easiest way to get there is to open the Address Book application, and select the menu item *Card > Go to My Card*

What's the right way to export contents (and meta-info) for a playlist?

I have a huge iTunes library and want to move a part of it onto a netbook (running a Linux music manager) with much less disk space. I can put the things I want to move into a separate playlist. Now, how do I export them onto a flashdrive (to move it to the other machine) such that things like album art, descriptive info, and other meta-data move along with it? Is it possible?

Does the netbook have a CD drive?
nope, but I have a 4 gig thumbdrive to do the transfer with and the netbook has a 16 gig solid state disk in it.
As far as I know, there's no easy way to do what you want to. If the netbook
doesn't have a CD drive, I might reccommend burning a disc anyway. Make sure
you select to burn a File CD, not a music CD. Then, put the CD in your
computer (not the netbook) and copy the files to a Flash Drive. I might be
able to find a better solution. I'll get back to you if I do.
interesting. Does the "file CD" then contain metadata such as album art, lyrics, etc.? thanks!

File Info Metadata Templates Photoshop CC 2014

In PS CC 2014 I have no direct access to previously generated metadata templates.
Under the new "Template" button in the File Info panel I have only an Import and Export option
How do I create a new template?
How do I access my 10 previous templates?

I have had a similar issue. The "Info" panel in PS CC 2014 seems to be an incomplete rewrite, & needs to be fixed.
The panel has a cosmetic remake and the convenient dropdown selection of XMP templates I had in prior versions of PS CS & CC are absent.
A template can only be imported for a single use, so the next time you want to use it, it hasn't actually been imported to be added to the drop down list as per the earlier PS editions.
I am using a Mac so to get to my templates for those single uses I follow this path:
HD-->Users-->(me)-->Library--> Application Support-->Adobe-->XMP-->Metadata Templates
I cannot import the entire template folder, and I can only select a single XMP file. This is tedious to say the least and is a bug which needs fixing. I have yet to find a workaround, and the Adobe support person I spoke to seems to have difficulty differentiating presets from templates.
So I am using PS CC 2014's Metadata info panel at a minimum for now, and I am making most of my metadata changes in Bridge or Lightroom 5 with previously built templates.
This is even more frustrating as Bridge CC has not been updated for CC 2014, Adobe support has told me that they are still working on a Bridge 2014 release, and Bridge CC is not fully compatible with PS 2014. For example Mini-Bridge is absent, as is Adobe Exchange. It seems that PS CC 2014 was not quite ready for primetime.

Making Meta Properties editable / templates

When I create the template - then apply it to my pages - it
wiped out all the meta tags. I tried to create editable attributes
for my meta tags, but can't get it to work... I read the
instructions, but it still is not working.
After I open the page that I applied the template to and try
to change the keywords, I get the error: that I am editing text
outside the editable regions, and the next time I apply changes
they will be lost...code attached.
Is there a link to instructions that are clearly written, the
documentation was clear, but after following step by step
instructions, I am not getting results.

You could probably hack it by using extending AbstractPortal and overwriting for example doOnNodeReady ( http://media.sdn.sap.com/html/submitted_docs/60_sp2_javadocs/runtime/com/sapportals/portal/prt/component/AbstractPortalComponent.html )

Compilation meta info problem

When I am compiling I am getting an error in adfm.xml - it says it cannot find the path specified. (The path is fine) If i rebuild without cleaning it works fine - so I think that it is a sequence problem of some kind. I think it is empty when it compiles it but then it gets updated and is fine on the second build. It only really happens after a clean and then a make all.

Template not updating meta tag info.

I use DW MX on PC w/XP Home OS -- in the event that this info
makes any difference.
I updated meta tag info in a template then applied it to all
the child pages. The changes were not propogated. I've looked over
the info at "Template child pages are not updated when parent

Here are seven common mistakes that will result in changes
not propagating
from Template to child -
1. Rename the Templates folder
2. Move the Templates folder to some other folder level in
the site other
than root level
3. Move a template out of the Templates folder.
4. Make changes to an editable region of the template (which
will not
propagate)
5. Assume that template changes can be uploaded to the server
without also
uploading the changed local files
6. Corrupt the site cache so that the link between template
and child page
is broken
7, Improperly create your child pages by simply opening the
template,
adding page specific content, and resaving the template with
an *.html
extension rather that its *.dwt extension. (you can tell if
this is the case
by looking at the code on a child page - if you see anything
like <!--
TemplateBeginEditable... then this is what you have done)
The 6th problem can be repaired by using SITE | Advanced >
Recreate Site
Cache, and the six others can be fixed by just not doing
them. Have you
done any of those?

Yes. If you are using DW templates, I would recommend keeping it in an uneditable region of the template so that the code cannot be altered.

Info. Templates are attached to Item/Catgories. You can create a Realm for the Item (or) Category that is attached to the template. and use the securing realm attribute against the user/responsibility.

Template Browser HD Business Info 25

I am using the HD Business Info 25 template. However, I do not want the information to repeat twice like it does in the template. How do I make it go JUST once? Any ideas besides making a knife edit?

In the Timing Tab of the Inspector you'll want to eliminate the "loop" and then use the "Hold Last" to whatever length you want.
Of course if you only want it a really short time you could simply fade it out...that's found in the Fades category in the Effects Tab of the Media Browser
