                                                  2)O STOCK:FG
actually my problem is if my matrial is J STOCK:FG during GR against production order accounting document shoul not generate. but it is happening in my configuration.
it should be happened if the material is O STOCK:FG
i have tried to mark GR nonvaluated in production order. but in production order the field is showing as gried out. how can i mark that. or is there any option to avoid accounting doc generation for J STOCK: FG. please suggest me.

  • GR Non-valuated in production order (tab "Goods receipt")

    Hi,
When creating a production order, the field "GR Non-valuated' in tab "Goods receipt" is checked by default, due to my assessment customizing.
This field indicates to the system that it should not create any accounting document, whereas I would like to create one. Does anyone know how to withdraw this automatically check?
FYI, I do not use COPA and the very basic of CO-PC and I would like to create automatically a default assessment rule (cost center).
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi
The GR Non-valuated check will not come by default. Please check the Material Master for it

  • Backflushing problem in Production order

    Hi,
In my scenario we use valuation type for the components which we consume in the production order. There is one BATCH field in the component list for a production order.
There i can give my valuation type of material which i want to consume for that order. But all the time i have to give it manually in the order. Is there any possiblility of picking it up automatically because i use backflush concept.
So in my CO11N transaction the goods movement  tab appears
where the componets get displayed.but i have to give the valuation type field manually.Other wise automatic GI does not happen.
The problem is that i have approximately 60 components to be backflushed for an order and  all the time i have to give the valuation type maually. So it is creating problem for me.
    Please suggest.

    Hi!,
I think you are using spit valuation and want automatic determination of valuation type as per priority set in the configuration. For this you need to define stock determination rule/group etc. Make the necessary configuration in SPRO> Material Management> Inventory Management> Stock determination. Make the necessary assignments for various functions mentioned there such as inventory management / production order / pick list etc.
If you want to default the valuation type for the HALB / FERT material (Split valuated) while production order creation then you need to do necessary configuration for their respective material types in SPRO>Mat Management>Valuation & Account determination>split valuation. There you can give default valuation type for the material type and also you can keep it modifiable or nonmodifiable.
I hope this will solve your problem.

  • Production order Revaluation

    Hi,
In activity master (KL01) I have given "Act. price indicator" as "7 - Manually determined for actual allocations".
We are calcualting actual activity rate manually and updating this rate in t-code - KBK6.
While executuing t-code "MFN1 - Individual Processing " for inventory valuation the production order is not getting revaluated.
However, if I change "Act. price indicator" as "5 - Actual price, automatically based on activity" the production order revaluation is happening.
Cannot we use " Actual price indicator" as "7 - Manually determined for actual allocations" ? Why the system is not revaluating if we use 7 instead of 5 ?
    Thanks,

  • Preli cost compo struc of production orders to sales orders -Non valuated

    Hi experts
We use Non valuated sales order cost/settlement and assembly order processing. So production order is created from sales order and prel cost estimate is created in the production order. Now we notice that the cost component struc in production order is not copied into sales order. Only the EK02 is copied with total cost.
How to bring cost compo struc from production order to sales order ?
This may be a special cost estimate with costing and Is it possible to bring cost compo struc to copa record type A or F.
I know standard cost compo mapping in copa but I could not see the costing variant used in production order in copa master data configuration.
    regards
    KT

If the sales order is not a cost object, you cannot cost in it, and you can therefor also not see the cost component split.
When you sell the material, you can pull through the cost component to PA, via the material master using the COPA valuation strategy. However, only the info for the material in the sales doc line item.
You don't link to a costing variant, you link using the above valuation strategy and the costing key. The costing variant sits inside the costing key.

  • Production order settlement in case of non valuated material

    Hello guys,
Our client wants some of the materials have to be non valuated. These materials are raw materials and SFG also. We can assign UNBW material types to those materials.
I have created one material for test purpose. It doesn't contain the accounting view so as no valuation class. BOM of it , doesn't contain any component as client doesn't want to show any consumption on production order. While creating the order for that material system asks for the settlement rule. I skip that step and create the order. I do GR for the same.
My question is, is production order settlement essential for these orders? What if we don't settle the order. No activity type has been assign to the work center.
      Kindly give ur valuable inputs.

    Hi,
No need to create material as UNBW type.
Normal ROH, HALB, FERT material type we can achieve this.
In the BOM of FG or SFG goto  item detail screen there is a tick mark in costing.
Remove the tick by OS23 - BOM status.
Now you can do your production as regular. But cost will not get update. You can do regular settlement also.

    Hi,
please note that this is not an MM, but a PP-SCF related issue. It does not belong to the forum ERP MM.
The indicator AFPOD-WEUNB is set automatically as soon
as you do not settle your production order to category 'MAT' (see
settlement rule). If the order is not settled to a material, then the
Goods Receipt will not be valuated and the flag G/R Non-valuated (WEUNB)
is set. Only when you settle to a Material is the G/R Non-valuated not
set, and you will  receive FI postings in the case of such a movement.
    This is standard system behaviour.
Please review the following notes relating to settlement rules: 518496,
    400400.
To make sure that the GR-Nonvaluated flag is not set in the
production order, field KZBWS must already be filled with 'M' in the
customer requirement. For that, please set the field KZBWS='M' for the
requirement class that is used (see 'General Customizing' in note
    459734). PLAF-KZBWS (indicator:valuation of special stock).

  • Production order--GR-Non valuated indicator

    Dear All.
In which condition the system automatically tick the GR-Non valudated indicator of  the good receipt view for  the production order .

    Prasobh
We use make-to-order and sale order stock nonvaluated, and each production order have relative sale order.but when plan production order thansfer production order, the GR-non valuated indicator for the goods receipts view is ticked automatically. Then the sale order stock is non-valuated and the production order will settle to sale order. I check all the configuration but  all is ok, so I change the sale order in the production order. then is ok.
    It is a strange thing!
my english is bad, maybe the descreption isn't clear.

  • Intrastat - Inbound/Outbound of non valuated materials used in production.

    Hello everyone,
I've found several threads and very useful posts (ex: Re: PO Creation of free goods for intrastat reporting)  regarding similar issue, but the solution proposed was manual input, therefore not answering totally to my client requirement.
I am actually performing maintenance activities and there is this new business process, I have been searching for the correct understandind of this process regarding intrastat here and I haven't found.
So i will describe the process hoping that someone can give me some hint:
    Vendor A
    Customer B
    Raw Material R
    Finish Product P
    Service S
    1. So we ( Vendor A ) receive raw material from our Customer B (+mov.type +)
    2. We ( Vendor A ) with a production order process the Raw material R into Finish Product P.
    3. We ( vendor A ) send the Finish Product P back to the Customer B.
    4. We ( Vendor A ) then issue an invoice for the Service S to the Customer B.
    5. It can occur that we Vendor A, can send back the Raw material R which was not manufactured back to Customer B (with a mov type.)
So thiswas the scenario and how the process is beeing done, and the client understanding is:
    - As far as i understood, (please correct me if i am wrong) the Raw Material R must be declared (Quantity and statistic value) in Purchasing Intrastat, in the transactions where the Vendor A receives the raw material and as well in the case that they send it back to Customer B.
    - Regarding the Invoice from the Vendor A to Customer B, the Raw Material R is incorporated in the Finish Product P, therefore I've been told that, the Statistic Value determined in the invoice in this situation has to include the cost value of the raw materials R.
My issues in MM are the following:
1 - If Raw Material R is non valuated, how can i maintain its statistic value to be declared, in inbound as well outbound? as an Info-record?
My issues in SD are the following:
1 - If the Statistic Value GRWR can be for example 102% calculated over the net value, and if the cost value of Raw Materials R are to be included, so i would have to add them somehow to the statistic value.
In this case the question comes up, where do i maintain the value of the raw materials R, and how to add it to the statistic value automatically ?
Regarding what is implemented in this client, they have SD intrastat running, but not MM intrastat was implemented.
    Feedback would be highly appreciated!!
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Sergio,
I have this exact same requirement but on a bigger scale.
    The complexities are:
    1. The raw material which client use, that can be either supplied by customer or can be procured by client. Remember, customer's raw material and my externally procured raw material is exactly same in all properties.
    2. There are many customers who send same exact raw material.
    Requirements:
    1. Client wants to use same material codes (for raw materials and even for finished products) for normal production cycle and for Job work cycle. Master data needs to be the same, and data need to be separated at transaction level.
    2. Whatever raw material client gets from customer, its statistical value should be entered at the time of goods receipt.
Please suggest if preference processing can handle this.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Difference between Valuated and Non valuated Sale order stock

    Hi All,
Can anybody tell me the difference between the above said subject with the steps involved in each scenario.
That is valuated sale order stock and Non valuated sale order stock in Product cost by Sale Order.
With Journal entries at each step and whether any WIP or variances at Production order level and sale order level and all the financial entries related to them
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ravi Kumar

    Hi Shail,
    Thans for your inputs,
But I wanted to know it in more detail. In what scenarios they are used with financial entries in both the cases.
I will give you my scenario. It goes like this,
My client is in pipe coating business, who receives pipes from customers and does only coating work(which is considered as service) and despatches it to the customer. this process is carried on the basis of work order(Sale order).
Now Production order is created and work is done on that with reference to Sale order for that particular customer.
So the pipe which my client receives should be non valuated stock as it will not be a raw material to them and the cost incurred on it is booked on production order like chemicals as raw material consumption, activity cost etc.
now in this scenario just tell me how and at which stage FI entries get generated at Production order and Sale order level, and also at wat level Standard cost estimate should be created i,e at production order level or sale order level(sale order cost estimate).
Will there be any entries at goods isssue and GR against production order. If no then how the COGM account will get hit.
Please tell me this scenario in both cases Valuated sale order stock and Non valuated sale order stock with financial entries in Sale order costing.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ravi Kumar

  • Open Prod. Orders = Convert Non-Valuated material to Valuated material

    Hello,
We have converted from Non-Valuated Materials to Valuated manterials in Stock.
But now, we are concerned with Open Production Orders - which have Non-Valuated Materials already issued to the order.
We would like to find out how do other companies handle this type of scenario.
Is there a tool or program that can be used, please advice.
    Many thanks in advance,

    Rio,
We have used Production orders when we want to convert 1 material number to another material number. It is a good & robust process. It allows the business to capture the cost of converting 1 material to another material with all the labor and or machine  costs.
In your case I assume you may be using an unvaluated material as component & adding some labor or machine time to arrive at your Valuated material. Seems like a normal & straightforward process.
Anothe option is to do a standard Transfer posting using Material to material transfer ( mov type 309). It allows to transfer post materials that have same material type. But you may have to check if it allows to convert unvaluated (UNBW)  to unvaluated (HALB) material type or not.
But fisrt option is a good process.
    Hope this helps. Good luck.

  • Make-to-order: COPS for  KMAT materials (Non-valuated sales stock)

    Hello,
We are working with KMAT configurable material (i.e. non valuated sales order stock).
The client is requiring that inventory of these KMAT material should be shown in the financial accounting;however as we work with KMAT, this seems not possible.
    The whole process is:
    - taking of the sales order with the configuration
    - MRP and Production order Execution
    - Settlement of the PO to the sales order
    - Settlement of the Sales orden to a given account in FI (just like "stock for customer order") - inventory.
The problem we are facing now is how to make the compensation of this account once the product is delivered.
It seems the sales order's default settlement receiver is only the PSG. can we have to use the result analysis key to calculate the cost of sales, and which valuation method can we use if I only want to settle the actual cost that settled from the production order.
By the way, I have search for the notes:Note 26459  it seems we have to run the sales cost estimate first for the KMAT.
    Summary
    Symptom
It is not possible to perform results analysis on sales order items with materials of material type KMAT.
    Additional key words
    Transactions KKA3, KKAK
    Cause and prerequisites
In make-to-order production, the inventory and the cost of sales are not posted through goods movements because the materials are managed in a non-valuated sales order stock. The only way to create postings in FI is to use results analysis (see Note 26456). If the sales order item consists of a material of material type KMAT, results analysis is not possible because no cost estimate exists for this material.
    Solution
Results analysis must be performed with a valuation method that uses profit basis C. With this profit basis, the system uses the planned costs of the production orders for the sales order instead of a cost estimate for the KMAT material.
In Release 2.2 a modification is needed for this which is described in Note 25772. In Release 3.0 this function is provided as standard.
From 3.0C onwards the planned costs of the sales order can also be calculated in a product cost estimate for the sales order. You should use profit basis E in this case.
However, if you are using assembly processing with production orders, you can only use profit basis C.
Hope the scenario is clear. Perhaps you have a different approach to work with KMAT materials.

    Hi Friends,
Can you please provide the solution for my problem and its slight urgent.

  • Non valuated sales order stock-help reqd

    Dear Experts,
My client is into Pipe coating business who receives the pipe from the customers, coats it as per there requirements and dispatches it thereon. There is no concept of FG here as its only the service he is doing on it and also when he receives the pipe there is no raw material cost on it. Raw materials for him would be chemicals etc which he uses to coat the pipe.
This is the case of NON Valuated sales order stock.
    1) non valuated GR will be done for customer stock -Only QTY update
    2) sales order bom will be created with defined characteristic.
    3) Plan cost of sales order will be updated based on Costing ID setting
4)Production order will be created based on Sales order.Good issue and Activity confirmation happen at Production order level but Good received only QTY but no value update.
5)Production order will be settled on sales order.Settlement profile of production order type must contain COST ELEMENT tick under settlement.
6)now my sales order contain actual cost of production.
7)No accounting document will be generated at PGI.
8)only accounting document will be generated at Billing.
9)Only COPA Document will be generated at Sales order settlement. I am going to create PA transfer structure in order to post COGM cost component wise.
    Mi missing something?
    Question
    1) Whether all steps are correct
    2) There  will be no standard cost release and no variance calculation as well.
3)How can i use RA under non valuated sales order stock?.
4)HOw can i use customer stock under sales order bom with non valuated value?
5)How i will do Production order GR Only qty update?
    regards
    RK

    Hi Raman
All steps are correct.. You seem to be an expert now!
THere wil be no Std cost release or variance calc
You can set up RA based on costs or Revenue... 1st of all check with your  client whether they would like to have any WIP in this case
you can receive the customer supplied pipe using 501E movement as Non val
GR - Only Qty Update is controlled by Req Class... You need to leave Valuation field BLanlk in Req CLass and choose Acct Assn Catg E
