Gross incompetence for six months of continued billing errors

I would like someone to fix the six months of continuous internet billing problems. I am seriously tired of calling every single month to fix my bill. Every single time I call, my bill is adjusted to the correct amount. The following month, more late fees with the corrected amount BACK ON THE BILL! This the absolute worst billing department I have ever encountered in my entire life. Each month I am assured that the bill was adjusted and it would not occur on the following bill. Well, it does. This vast ineptitude is horrible. The last time I had internet problems it cost me over a hundred dollars of tech time on my telephone minutes overage with no results except the purchase of a router which was then credited to my bill because it wasn't the problem. I had to post my problem on the forum to get it fixed. The resulting credit on my bill from the unnecessary router was the beginning of the neverending billing problems. I am guessing that AT&T wants me to get fed up with calling to get my bill fixed and just pay it. I wonder how much money you people make this way? If you guys weren't the only game in town, I'd have found new service a long time ago. Can SOMEONE fix the billing issue once and for all?!

    You need to check if you really the report Plant wise and if yes, then check if the Accounting Transactions are maintained at Plant Level in your source system i.e. in R3.
    Ideally it should be Business area or Functional Area or Controlling area which are maintained in Accounting Transactions. You will also the relevant details for these Characterisitics + Profit Center in the NEW GL Accounting data sources.

  • Disc Burn Error #4450 - This has been going on for six months now!

    I cannot burn discs anymore since two upgrades ago. I have tried EVERYTHING, different discs, cleaning out my computer and my iTunes library, making sure nothing was running in the background ... etc. NO luck. I have no clue what to do now and have not been able to burn discs for six months now. Is there an actual support phone number? This is ridiculous! I remember it was a big problem a while ago, and now they want us to upgrade to iTunes 8. If anyone has any suggestions that they can throw my way it would be greatly appreciated. It's possible I might be missing something, but my discs were burning fine before, of course, I upgraded.

  • Overage Charge for prior month on first bill

    Got my first Verizon bill today and found something interesting.  I was charged for going over my data for the prior month to the tune of $15 for a gig.  Problem is, I've only had the phone for a month and there is no prior month on my account!
    Or at least there shouldn't have been.  Looks like my billing cycle started the day after I got the phone, so all the data from setting up my phone in store was overage.  This is crap.  Anyone else notice this?

    That one day of the prior billing cycle was prorated based on the data plan you selected and divided by the number of days in the billing cycle.

  • Phone hasn't vibrated for six months

    I got my phone in September or October and it stopped functioning about 30 days after I got it. I assumed that the Verizon warranty that came with my phone was all it had, so I figured I was stuck with it. I recently found out that the phone comes with a manufacturer's warranty (that should've been obvious, but I'm quicker to guess that I'm out of luck). There's no resolving this one - the phone stopped vibrating completely. Sometimes, if I might shake it in such a very particular way, it will then vibrate until it's jostled again, and then it stops. This happens maybe once a month and lasts about an hour. So, in the past seven or so months of owning this phone, six of those months it has only had the vibrate function for a total of six hours. Then, hurray, I realize I need to take it to a store to try to get it replaced or fixed or something.
    Then the new troubles start! I used to be able to mount my phone to my Mac and get photos off of it, and put some music onto it. Now it simply will not mount. The terminal trick does not work, Salling does not work, debugging does not work, the media player versus mass storage thing doesn't work. If I'm going to try to get my phone fixed, I'd like to get my photos and videos safely on my computer before handing it over to Verizon. Is there ANYTHING I can do about that, or am I just giving in and letting them take my stuff?

    First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."

    Take it to an Apple store genius bar and if it is defective they will replace it since it is in warranty.

I also have the option to stay on pay roll for six months. I am concerned that a lender will look at my bank statement and see the large payment, and of course I'd have to tell them that it is a severance payment and that I'll come off payroll in five months. Would a lender care about that? Should I leave the funds in the account for a few months since they'll only ask to see one to two months of bank statements? Thanks for the advice!

That way you have the large severance payment in savings + the new job in the same industry = problem solved. Lender wants to know you have income to make the payments after closing, that is the reason for the job verifications. The NINA (short for no income, no asset) type loans went away with the mortgage meltdown in 2008

  • MBP repair time: SIX MONTHS !!!

    Dear All,
    I bought a MacBook Pro in April. It had an incredible number of problems (the most serious one was that the battery cover was melting and falling apart) so I SENT IT BACK for repair.
    Five working days later I received my laptop back, apparently fixed. Well, no such luck. It still had exactly the same problems. Why didn't they test it after they had "fixed" it?
    I called Apple After Sales support and requested a new replacement unit, since I argued that I bought a new laptop for which I had paid a lot of money, had sent it for repair, Apple didn't fix it, and I wasn't going to wait for another repair. So, they agreed to replace it.
    Guess what? They shipped the wrong laptop... The hard disk was not the one I had in my original laptop. So, I SENT IT BACK. Ten days later I received a new laptop with the correct configuration.
    Surprise surprise: the right speaker wasn't working properly. It vibrated a lot and made a tinny sound. And guess what... Yes... I SENT IT BACK yet again, in the hope that fixing a speaker was within the technician's capabilities.
    They promptly returned the laptop five working days later. The speaker was working, but they had disconnected the bluetooth module, disabled the remote control, and managed to break the light that indicates when the laptop is "sleeping". I was so frustrated... And yes... I SENT IT BACK, again...
    They fixed those issues, returned the laptop in five working days, and imagine my surprise (I was now laughing histerically!) when I find out the right speaker was broken, again!!! I could not believe what was happening.
    I SENT IT BACK for the fifth time. That was over 2 weeks ago. Still no news... The call centre don't have a clue of what's going on... First they told me they were waiting for parts, then they said they weren't waiting for any parts, then they said they had fixed the laptop and were now testing it, then they said they hadn't fixed it because they were waiting for parts, and never has anyone told me when I will have my laptop back.
    I WILL NEVER, EVER send my laptop back for repair. After all this history of waiting for it to be fixed I will just ask for replacement laptops from now on (for SIX MONTHS I've been waiting!!! It is October now and I bought my laptop in April). It has been in repair for 6 whole months while Apple has my 2500 pounds in their accounts since I bought a lot of accessories with the laptop so it increased the price considerably.
    If you count the number of times I wrote "SENT IT BACK" in bold in the text above, you will see I had to send it back FIVE times, and had TWO new replacement laptops, and I'm still waiting for it to be fixed.

    And I thought I'd had problems with the MacBook I had about a month ago. I'd bought the £899.00 white MacBook from my local Apple reseller and was shocked to get it home and see that one of the USB ports was totally smashed and almost ripped out of it's socket. I returned it right away, got a refund (as they had no more stock and had no idea when they would have) and went to an actual Apple Retail Store.
    I got another one, got it home and both palm rests to each side of the track pad had scratches on them (one was almost two inches long), so it got returned. I got another one (which I checked out before bringing it home) and it seemed fine. After a single day of use, the top of the case melted above the optical drive, which (after it cooling and being turned back on the following day) casued the plastic to crack, making it impossible for a CD or DVD to be inserted, thus (you guessed it) it went back. As you can imagine, by this time, I didn't want another MacBook, so decided to pay more and upgrade to a MacBook Pro. Did that solve my laptop problems? Nope, as mine had a serious hard drive fault and the Apple logo on the rear of the screen had a crack through the centre from left to right, so (yes, I know you already know what I'm going to say) it went back.
    I thus decided to ditch the laptop route and go for a desktop. I currently have a 24-inch iMac and I have to say that I'm very pleased with it. I now have a larger spending budget than I had when I first bought the computer for my business and (as it's still within the 14-day return period) have thought about getting a MacPro and Cinema Dispay, but (after reading some issues regarding the MacPro on this very forum), I don't know if I dare, as I've only seen one or two good posts about it so far and the others seem to be full of problems (though I have to say that the MacBook Pro forum always seems to have the most problems and issues than any other section!)
    At the moment, I have no idea what to do and only five days before my return period runs out...any suggestions?

    While  running the Depreciation posting for this month we encounted a error that last motn period is closed. Can we do the depreciation without opening the period closed. Kindly let us know the options available.

    There is no way you can post depreciation without opening the prior periods. Please discuss with your business and secure all necessarry approval, I believe the business has a process on this kind of situations. As long as it is fully documented, auditors will not find it wrong.
    This is the best time to improve your process, think of possible ways so that business will not forget to post depreciation (e.g send automatic email during 3 days before, 2 days before., 1 day before and during the day of depreciation run).

  • How can you get someone to fix billing errors?

    I am so angry - calling month after month to get billing errors corrected. No one seems to be able to get anything done!

    VERIZON = FRAUD
    I have never had a transaction that went as discussed on the telephone. Most recently I discovered that I was paying about twice the monthly charge advertised by Verizon. No problem, we will reduce it to 60/mo. but it may take a billing cycle. I called again after it didn't appear. No problem. Now its three or four months and no 60/mo.
    I give up. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH VERIZON AGAIN ONCE THEY RELEASE ME FROM BONDAGE.
    Have any of you found that the well documented discussion on their computer diappears within a month.  Oh, I'm sorry, but you never had that conversation. In fact you NEVER ever called us. You must be a happy camper.
    FRAUD IS A VERY PERSONAL JUDGMENT. I am just wondering whether any of you think that Verizon conducts its billing office in a fraudulent manner.  Maybe you think they are just incompetent. Maybe you think they are great. Let me know what your description is.
    Also, let me know how many of you would terminate their contract tomorrow if they eliminated termination fees?

  • All of my users are deauthorized and my billing information (prepaid for 12 months) comes up as invalid.

    Several months ago, when I first purchased Adobe CC for the marketing department at my organization, there was a difficult-to-diagnose billing error that took weeks to resolve, working through every customer service channel available (speaking with literally a dozen reps on the phone, two chat sessions, several email replies, and Twitter). Eventually, payment was successfully confirmed, and the account was correctly configured.
    Then, a little while later, we started getting the "unable to verify billing information" popup at launch, with a 60-day countdown. The software still worked, however (if you clicked Continue).
    When I logged into my dashboard to manage the account, I saw this:
    Payment Needed. We're sorry, the billing information on file could not be used for this payment. Please update your information.
    Also, all of my licenses that had been purchased (7) were now unassigned. When I attempted to reassign one of my colleagues, he was able to get in. Then, I received a message from Adobe stating:
    You've been removed from [company name].
    Hi [name],
    Your administrator has removed you from your organization's Adobe Creative Cloud membership Complete which means you no longer have access to Creative Cloud through the [company name] team.
    If you believe this message was sent in error and you'd like to continue your Creative Cloud membership, please contact your administrator. If you'd like to initiate your own Creative Cloud membership, click to learn more.

    Then, when I attempt to assign one of the empty seats to myself, I get the following message:
    ERRORWe're sorry. Something seems to be wrong on our end. Please try again later. If this continues to fail, please contact customer support.
    Honestly, at this point, I am completely frustrated with the performance of Creative Cloud. I've used an individual account since launch and have loved it, but the experience trying to get the system working for my team (and trying to work with customer service to resolve issues like this). We spent more than $3,000 on these licenses, and this is completely breaking our ability to work effectively.
