Group output data with cftable

I can group data with breaks between each group with the
following syntax:

    What I´d like to do is, grouping in Crystal Reports, the result of this query by Item Code, not by date. The problem I have is that I need users introduce "from date" to "end date" as incoming paramater.
    The way I am running it, for example  I have some results like:
    date                         Item Code               Total
    01/01/2009               4646_R2                  120 u20AC
    10/01/2009               4646_R2                  34 u20AC
    And I´d like to take something like this:
    Item code                       Total
    4646_R2                         154 u20AC
    Not grouping by date ......
    Is there any way to do this using this query in Crystal Reports?

  • Outputted date with unusual format mask

    I am getting a flat file outputed from Fusion Financials SAAS, and one of the columns has this: 2013-11-14T15:10:36.000-06:00
    Clearly its a date. I am guessing its a datetime TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE datatype. But, the Format Model is unfamiliar to me, particularly regarding the letter 'T'.
    Because its a flat file, this is coming to me as varchar2 data. I'd like to convert it to datetime.
    I got to this:
    select to_timestamp_tz('2013-11-14T15:10:36.000-06:00', 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.FF TZH:TZM') AT LOCAL
    from dual
    It fails because of the letter 'T',
    I know I could do this:
    select to_timestamp_tz(REPLACE('2013-11-14T15:10:36.000-06:00','T',' '), 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.FF TZH:TZM') AT LOCAL
    from dual
    And it works.
    But that is not the point. The point is to find the Format Model that Oracle is using here.
    Any thoughts on this?

    Arie, the timezone format in the file is based on ISO 8601: ISO 8601 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    This should work:
    SQL> select to_timestamp_tz('2013-11-14T15:10:36.000-06:00', 'YYYY-MM-DD"T"HH24:MI:SS.FF TZH:TZM') from dual;
    TO_TIMESTAMP_TZ('2013-11-14T15:10:36.000-06:00','YYYY-MM-DD"T"HH24:MI:SS.FF
    14-NOV-13 03.10.36.000000000 PM +06:00

  • Grouping the data

    Hello team,
    I have come up with a question at my work.
    I have a table that has several fields. When I group the data with one field, I get some counts which are equal to the original count of field before grouping. As I add more fields to the query and I add to my grouping, the my total count wouldn't be equal
    to the original count of the column.
    Can somebody please this?
    What query can take care of this?
    I generated this select statement, but it didn't work.
    SELECT DISTINCT c.code, c.Approved, Year(b.Date) AS [Year], Month(b.Date) AS [Month]
    FROM (SELECT a.Code, Sum(a.Approved) AS Approved FROM [MyTable1] AS a WHERE (((a.Approved)>0)) GROUP BY a.Code)

    I am not bale to understand the count of field means. Did it mean the numbers of records? If I understand correctly, I think the result is expected since the group by clause is changed.

    I have a problem related to output data I ntxt file on server
    for eg
    CONCATENATE

    wa_sagadr_outtab-country INTO wa_sagadr_text SEPARATED BY ''.
    the output is separated by single space irrespective of database length of the field , I want to display all the lenth of the database field eventhough the remaining space is blank ie if a field is 20 char in dtabase and only filled with 6 char the whole 20 char lenth should be displayed in the output file
    ouput as below
    required format ie space equvalent to as in database lenght
    000001       700006               C4 Plant AMD Export Sdn.Bhd.so on.
    my format as coming single space in between only

    For this maintain an work area with the fields and structure same as the one which you want.

    Requirement: I shulb be able to conver th Script output data to Text(.text) file & send a maill with attachment with this text file. Formant of text file should be like output of Print priview.
    Plese sugget with Function modules to cover as Text file.
    I am able to converting the Script output data to PDF and sending mail with attachment. So I don't want PDF file now.

  • Split the incoming data into multiple grouped output records

    I have three fields in the source, Student ID, Student name and Student Marks. I need to map the details in the destination, by grouping the data on the basis of marks obtained. Each time there's a new mark , the corresponding details of names and student

    I'm not sure I understand what you want to do - but if you want to analyze the composite audio signal, just share the GB project to an audio file on your hard disk and keep working on the resulting AIFF.

  • Metagen is skipped sometimes complaining because all output files are up-to-date with respect to the input files

    Hi,
    In one of my dll (VS2010), the process Skipping target "MetaGen" because all output files are up-to-date with respect to the input files.
    it is at  random.  I have checked the time stamps of the dll and metagen.write.1.tlog both having the time stamp on the failed build.  But all files in release folder did not have the same time.  They are one hour earlier than the dll
    and the  metagen.write.1.tlog.
    On the good build  it said the input file is is newer than output file ".\Release\\metagen.write.1.tlog" and allfiles in the release folder have same time stamp.
    Any clue to solve this ?

    I would like to group my events by date though, rather than display the date against each row. To make things even more complicated, I would like to use friendly names like Today, Tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday instead of dates:

    Event number 6

    At the moment, I've created a ItemDataBound event on the ListView control and I have been able to display the Today, Tomorrow, Monday etc bit but I can't figure out the best way to perform the grouping. Incidentally, I only want to group on the date not

    When I've done this in the past I've always used a calculated field that translated the days into the groupings I wanted.  You couldn't do quite the groupings that you list above, but it would give you categories to group on.  You could then
    apply the groupings in the base view.  Then you could use the Row Databound event to change the labels on the Groupings at runtime to the ones you want to use.

  • MS Project 2007 - Help with custom field calculation for grouped by dates view

    I am trying to creat a view that counts number of students in courses (while # Students is a custom field that is filled manually and courses are tasks).
    The view should be grouped by Quarters, Months, and weeks (Calculated custom Text fields)
    The weeks groups are displayed by the start day of each week.
    For example:
    The view counts how many students are in courses in a specific week/month/quarter.
    This is the group by definition:
    Those are the fields calculations:
    “WW_Start” field calculation:
    (Year([Start]) & "  W " & Format([Start],"WW") & " " & "   [" & Datevalue(ProjDateSub([Start],CStr(Weekday([Start])-1),"Standard")) & "]")
    “MM” field calculation:
    Year([Start]) & "  M " & Format([Start],"MM")
    Basically it works but it doesn't cover a situation where a course is more then a week.  
    Lets say that the duration of the task is 12 days, the task should appear on 3 different weeks groups.
    But what i did puts the tasks only in the group that shows the first week of the task.
    How can i change my calculations or my view so that in the second, and third week of the task it will also show the task and it's attributes.
    For example:
     - "UV5 ACM" task should also be in W 45 not just W 44.
    Anyone has an idea how to do that?

    First, thanks for the comment "nice neat groups" :)
    I think you understood correctly what is my issue.
    Second, about your question:  the class have the same number of students during the course period.
    It will have 10 students even if the duration is 1 day or 10 days.
    if you look at the basic gantt chart you will see a row like this:
    Task name        Duration        Num_Students     Resource names (Instructors)
    Course YYY       10d                10                       
    Instructor X
    it is an attribute on the task, not the assiment.
    When i group by dates (Weeks, months, quarters) or by another field (can be course type for example) i the students are summed in the task summary level for all tasks.
    Lets say i group by all the tasks (Classes) that are in the 1st quarter, and lets say for the example that there are 3:
    Task 1 -->  5 students
    Task 2 --> 10 students
    Task 3 --> 7 students
    Then, the group by summary should count:
    Quarter 1 - 2014:   22 (students)
    Task 1 --> 5
    Task 2 --> 10
    Task 3 --> 7
    By the way, it doesn't matter if the version is project 2007,2010, 2013, the logic is the same.

  • How to retrieve Min(startDate) and Max(endDate) for different groups of data? (sql server 2000)

    My sample dataset (below) contains 3 groups -- 'a', 'b', 'c'.  I need to retrieve the Min(startDate) and Max(EndDate) for each group so that the output looks something like this (date format not an issue):
    fk   minStart       maxEnd
    a    1/13/1985    12/31/2003
    b    2/14/1986    12/31/2003
    c    4/26/1987    12/31/2002
    What is the Tsql to perform this type of operation?  Note:  the actual data resides in a sql server 2000 DB.  If the Tsql is different between version 2000 and the later versions -- I would be grateful for both versions of the Tsql
    --I noticed that multiple lines of Insert values doesn't work in Sql Server 2000 -- this sample is in Sql Server 2008

    It is unclear what you are trying to achieve, you said that it is SQL Server 2000 but provide a sample data with SQL Server 2008 syntax
    Is it possible to use UNION ALL for your queries to make its one

  • HOw Do I count and identify the number of groups in a groups output.

    I have a query that reads like this..

    What I am trying to do is find out how many specialties there
    are, figure out where the middle is so I can insert a new table
    data cell and start a new column.
    Basically - two columns with the data divided in half by
    specialty NOT by the number of dealers.
    I hope that makes sense. Of course I am trying to do it w/ as
    little query action as possible. My only solution may be to have
    more than one query and the second only finds a list of the
    sepcialties that contain the dealers and then find the middle one
    and simply say if current specialty = middleSpecialty then start a
    new column.

    As for removing the extraneous cfoutput --> I thought that
    I needed that in order to show the material within the grouped
    data. HOw does CF know what data to repeat and what data to not
