GUI_UPLOAD output for a record having 130 fields [ 400 characters data ]

Hi Experts,
While working with GUI_UPLOAD, the output internal table record is limiting the characters.. but my requirement is a record containingg 400 + character... i.e, nearly 130 fileds in a record..
Can you please help me how to do.

How to Ignore records having duplicate field value

Hi,
I have a fixed length flat file having multiple records.
Ex:
1000423421A8090
1000802421A8091
1000454421B8092
1000412421C8093
The first 2 record has A. So I have to take only one out of first two record and ignore the second one. I mean if there is any duplicate field at 11th position then I have to select only one record.
Can you please let me know how to handle this.

Mapping Logic
1. Use sort by key function

Screen exit for MM01 to add additional fields to basic data tab .

We are working on the SAP version ECC 5.0 . Our requirement is to add additional fields to the general data section of the basic data1 tab for the tcode MM01 . I have gone through many previous queries in SDN but not able to figure out what exactly the process should be . All I could figure out is to start the process from appending the structure to MARA for the additional fields . Then follow the steps in the SPRO .
Define Structure of Data Screens for Each Screen Sequence
Assign Secondary Screens
Maintain Order of Main and Additional Screens
Assign Screen Sequences to User/Material Type/Transaction/In
Define How Maintenance Statuses Are Determined in Data Trans
Create Program for Customized Subscreens
I am not able to comprehend what we are trying to do in these steps .
Can anyone explain me in detail what we are trying to do in the whole process ?

Create the append structure on the MARA table.
The SAP note 44410 describes how to add the new fields to the screen and how the updating will work.
1.     Make a copy of function group MGD1to ZMGDI as stated inthe Ossnote using program COPYMGDI.
2.             Goto Se38 enter program name SAPLZMGDI Click Display and goto> program-> other object---> enter screen number '0001' and add your fields to the subscreen which should apper on the the general data section of the basic data1 tab for the tcode MM01
2.     Make the changes stated in SAP Note.
3.     After make the changes the functional analyst will need to make some configuration changes.
4.     SPRO -> Logistic General -> Material Master -> Configuring Materal Master -> Define Structure of Data Screens Sequence.
5.     Select SSq = 21 then click on Subscreens select Basic DATA1
6.     Enter in the new screens that were built
7.     Change the row that was create putting in the program (function group program) that was created in step 2.

Please explain ur requirement more clearly.
If understanding is right ,you are creating a Table/Form with the information of a particular company ,and u r interested to add another column to this table and this column should not be visible when to select another company. Am I right?
What is the data source is it a BAPI or Query or Query View?
1)Drag and drop a table from the Query(if suppose).Or form if u want to include in the form.
2)And if u want another field(if it is to be calculated) in ur table u can have include an expression box by clicking a "+" sign in the table and specify the formula for it in the Expression field uder the Data source field in the General Tab.
3)And if u want to hide this field when u select another country then u can set a visibility condition.
4)Go to control properties window of the new field.U can get this by selecting the new added field and by clicking on configure or by left clicking the new field and then selecting the properties.
5)Inside the General Tab, u have UI Control,below that u have Hidden which is a check box, just check it.And click on condition. Then type the condition for it to be hidden.Then it is hidden.
Please try doing the above.

No output for XML Publisher Report using CASE/DECODE in Where Clause

I've a business requirement to modify an existing report which has two input parameters,
-> p_statcode (Closed Status) which can have values 'Y' or 'N'
-> p_overdue (Overdue Flag) which can have values 'Y' or 'N'
The Overdue Flag is an evaluated column having values of Y/N and it is evaluated as follows,

Original where clause in the Data Definition file is as follows,

Multiple Errors for one record in RFC

Iam creating RFC.In RFC i have defined output structure in tables.In that structure one field ZMSG and its length is 500.so want to display mutliple errors for one record in ZMSG field output.
Using concantenation...but How to do that?send me Example code...

Total jobs getting more for one record

Hi Gurus,
In the report if I filtered for one record, the result should be TOTAL job scheduled(Key Figure-ZITSCKF) = 1 but since I modified the record for 3 times on different DATES(Character - ZIBFDCH) it is showing as TOTAL job scheduled = 3.
In update rules I mapped the DSO object (ZIBFDCH) to Info Cube object (ZITSCKF), I written a formulae that--- IF( IS_INITIAL( /BIC/ZIBFDCH ), 1, 0 ).
Please help me regarding this issue, points will be assigned.

sice you have multiple modifications dates, what i think is, create intenal table sort baced on dates and read only one value for the combination of key fields like..DATES(Character - ZIBFDCH), DSO object (ZIBFDCH). so that one records for key combination will be updated to data target.

The header data of the interaction record (incl. description) is saved in table CRMD_ORDERADM_H.
The reason code can be found in table CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT.
The connection between CRMD_ORDERADM_H and the CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT is rather complex:
CRMD_ORDERADM_H --> CRMD_LINK --> CRMD_SRV_OSSET --> CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT
get transaction guid from crmd_orderadm_h.
get guid_set from crmd_link where crmd_link-guid_hi = transaction guid and objtype_set = 29.
select guid from crmd_srv_osset where guid_set = guid_set found above in crmd_link table.
select * from crmd_srv_subject where guid_ref is in all guid's found above.
The text can be found in table STXH. I guess you need a function module (READ_TEXT) to
retrieve the text.

Adding new field to Master Data

I have one master data which is business content.
i need to add one custom field in that with the status information of records. that new field will get data from R/3 status table via extractor from CMOD.
now this Master data is having delta.
my confusion is if i add new field in it how the delta will react ? coz there are different status - eg. when user create the status - it will be "created" that time delta will pick up that record coz it has been changed. Now if user changes status to "closed" or "in transit" how delta will react ?
i meant is it doable to do like that ? any guidance will be appreciated.

Your master data extractor will continue to give your existing fields- as for delta - it depends on how the delta is managed - you would have to find that oiut - is it on timestamp / date et etc... ?
CMOD will change only the extract structure and whenever this datasource is called - CMOD fills in the additional field - nothin about delta / init here...

I'm not sure if this answers your question but you could try putting out the address all in one item in the SQL eg somthing like:
address1 || DECODE(address1, NULL, NULL, 'newline character') ||
address2 || DECODE(address2, NULL, NULL, 'newline character') ||
address3 || DECODE(address3, NULL, NULL, 'newline character')
where 'newline character' is somthing like CHR(12)

All these tables are related with PK-FK relationship. This XML hierarchy is having 'OP' as top-most root node and ‘DE’ as it’s bottom-most node with One-To-Many relationship. Is there something you're not telling us?
What's the content of, for example, <OP_PAYLOD_XML1> ?
I don't think it's a good idea to embed the node level in the tag name, it would make much sense to expose that as an attribute.
What's the db version BTW?

How to set a particular Field in table control either as display only or
change only for each row based on certain condition.I need to set this property for each record in table control not for the entire coloumn?.I know the procedure for setting up an entire coloumn in table control either as diplay or change only using Loop at screen statement.

Supply the new field you defined by including the following source code line in
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP:
MOVE xxxx-VSTEL TO TKOMP-ZZVSTEL.
In order processing you find the user exit in Include MV45AFZZ, and in billing document processing you find it in Include RV60AFZZ.

The first thing you need to understand is that the condition records value is not based upon the the enterprise structure which you have defined. Rather it will pick value from the sales documents which we have created. The reason behind including this LIKP-VSTEL is that only, Just imagine, where you are using condition records??? in Sales order, in delivery, in billing..... and based on the data passed in these documents your condition records will be populated.
Again for example : you have maintained record for Sales org 1000, DC 10, division 00 shipping point 1000 then the record will come into the document provided the document should fulfill these all.
I hope this will make you understand this.

When I try to create a PO for a Material having Material Master and Vendor Master maintained but no Info Record, system does not accept the Net Price and the Price Condition also does not appear. Is there any way to create a PO for a Material having Net Price but without Info Record?

Hi,
The first time you create a PO for a material/vendor combination, then system will not prompt any price as info record or valid conditions have not been found.
The next time you create a PO for the same material, then the price will be defaulted/found from the order price history from the info record(As info record would be reated after the first PO is created) and the latest PO price for the mat/ven combination would be found.
Hope you are clear with this..Any doubts revert back.
