  • Passing parameters to Transactions from Web dynpro Application through ITS

    Hi,
    i need to call a transaction from Web dynpro through ITS. On action from web dynpro application, i am concatenating the respective parameters mentioned below along with URL. The problem is one parameter(VARIANT) is being passed to the t-code CAT3 correctly. The next mandatory parameter(PERNR) is not passed to the respective field.Here is the URL Code:
    CONCATENATE 'http'
    '://' host ':' port
    '/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/?sap-client=&~transaction=' 'CAT3'
    '%20TCATST-VARIANT=' lv_name2 '&CATSFIELDS-PERNR=' lv_name1 INTO url.
    Called T-Code CAT3
    Passing Parameters are:
    Data Profile TCATST-VARIANT
    Pernr: CATSFIELDS-PERNR

    Pradeep,
    iam trying to pass values from webdynpro application to SAP GUI Transaction

    CONCATENATE  'http://s0164dep01.adta.uae:50000/irj/portal/interop?NavigationTarget=pcd:portal_content/Testing/trn_iw33?'
    '%20CAUFVD-AUFNR='
                 'ApplicationParameter=CAUFVD-AUFNR='

  • What to after Creating a Web Dynpro Application

    Hello,
             My question might a little stupid so please don't mind. I have created a web dynpro application where the user enters a sales order no and the output of is shown in an ALV format in web dynpro. My question is what next, I mean how do I give it to the users to use it. They should only be given the URL which is generated?
            Also if i directly enter the URL it asks me for my Username Password of the SAP Logon. can this be avoided like some reports where one cant make any changes in the database just get the output this Username Password thing be skipped

    Hi.,
    You can create a Transaction for Web Dynpro Application to dispaly in browser as well as in SAP GUI.,
    check this: can we create a tcode for webdynpro application?
    else you can integrate it in Portal by creating iviews.,
    check this article: [How to integrate Web Dynpro  ABAP in Portal|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/008fc414-997f-2e10-3899-fd895ec8eb5e]

  • Error - Creating a Web Dynpro Application Accessing ABAP Functions

    Dear All,
    we are trying to implement a web dynpro application with accessing ABAP functions.
    Previous tasks:
    -     insert the ABAP system into the SLD from the NWDI System (Transaction RZ70; the ABAP system is correctly insert into the SLD => technical systems)
    -     equipped the JCO connections with the web dynpro content manager (ping and test = OK)
    It’s the standard tutorial out of the SDN called “Creating a Web Dynpro Application Accessing ABAP Functions”.
    Some hints:
    -     There are no errors after the implementation and the “rebuild” of the project in the NWDS
    -     The auto deployment works fine to the development runtime system. The application is shown in the Web Dynpro content manager
    -     The In the build log I found these entries:

    -     I’m able to start the application out of the Web Dynpro content manager with “run” => only the user interface is displayed without any functionality
    -     The “normal” start over the NWDS fails => error text
    “com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.sal.core.DispatcherException: The requested deployable object 'local/J08_Flugdat_Daventdcflight~xxx.com' and application 'FlightListApp' are not deployed on the server. Please check the used URL for typos.”
    There two different URLs in use.
    Start via NWDS:
    http://frasapp562:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/J08_Flugdat_Daventdcflight~xxx.com/FlightListApp
    Start via web dynpro content manager:
    http://frasapp562:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/xxx.com/aventdc~flight/FlightListApp
    For test purposes, we started the BAPI (BAPI_Flight_Getlist) on the ABAP system directly. It works.
    Any ideas about the system behaviours (different URLs and missing functionality)?
    Thanks a lot in advanced!
    Best regards

  • I want to editable description field  in my web dynpro application

    Hi expert,
    The requirement is to make the Description field editable. However, the container for the dynpro only appears to allow for a certain type of action and is essentially used to display the Line Item details, giving no option to change the Line Item Description.
    so i want to editable in this description field  in my web dynpro application  /SAPSRM/WDC_DOTC_PC_I_BD .
    Kindly give me soulation ASAP.
    Thanks and Regard's.
    Vikash

    Thanks for the reply.
    The name of the view is V_PC_DOTC_ITM on which we have the records. On each line item there is a description field which is of type (LinkToAction). I want to enable user so that it can change the Description text (I will handle the action). Also, if you have any idea about updating the database table from here as it needs to be updated in BBP_PCPOS table.

  • The Web Dynpro application 'PageBuilder' has expired

    Hi Alll,
    We are implementing ESS/MSS and the Portal was working fine.
    We set it up for SSL/https and it was working just fine. However when we call it from reverse proxy server the web dynro applications through the following error:
    The Web Dynpro application 'PageBuilder' has expired. Restart the application. Choose 'Refresh' in the iView tray or use the browser 'Refresh' button to restart the iView
      Details:   No details available
    When I tested this with a transaction iview they work just. Also when tested directly from Portal they work fine.
    Can anyone assist on this please?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,
    After a user is logged in and requested an ESS/MSS application. The pagebuilder service is requested to built the page.
    When the user is still logged in but is not working with this application the pagebuilder receives a timeout after a while and the session is expired. The pagebuilder has sometimes the status stopped, you can see this in the Netweaver Administrator. (Search for the pb in the application area)
    If an other user is requesting an application the pb service is started again and the page built again.
    If you want to get rid of the warning you could set the "timeout" parameter to a higher value in the configtool.
    Kind regards,
    Marcel

    i have created my web-dynpro application in development. and sent to quality . whenever i will execute my dynpro in quality  i got one message
    ERROR: ICF service node "/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zqm_cto_arr_general1" does not exist (see SAP Note 1109215) (termination: ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE)
    whenever i saw  sicf  transaction my web-dynpro is not seen . my dynpro application name is more then 15 character. what i will do . please give me valuable suggestion.....

    Hi Ashok,
                   for your requirement the application is not exist in particular place. It means, the webdynpro application is saved at different package or different location.
                  Please change the webdynpro component name and save it in particular request in package, then transport it to quality ..(development server )
    then go to SICF  t.code .. sap->bc->webdynpro->sap->find  out your application and activate the service of your webdynpro application.
    Now test it ... this solution might helpful to you .

  • Call a ABAP Web-Dynpro-application via a BSP-Application

    We have a BSP-Framework, that call several applications among other things other BSP-Applications, ITS-Application and other systems. Now I want to integrate a ABAP Web Dynpro-Application.
    For the moment I can call the ABAP Web Dynpro-Application from our application.
    This application runs in the same session as the Framework (verify in transaction sm04).
    When I want to call another application in the Framework, the session will be killed (no more sessions in sm04). This happens also, when I want to call the ABAP Web Dynpro-Application a second time.
    I guess, that the ABAP-Framework thinks I want to go outside the system (for example www.google.de) and close the session. I found out, that this wouldn't happen, if the application were suspended. But I found no way to tell the application via a url-parameter to suspend.
    Can someone help me?

    Thx for the tip,
    but I can't firea suspend plug. Because I'm in BSP. I understand the docu so, that you have the option to call a other apllication like BSP from a ABAP Web Dynpro.
    I want to call the ABAP Web Dynpro form BSP like this way.
    1. Start BSP-Framework
    2. Call ABAP Web-Dynpro-Application from BSP
    3. Call another Application from BSP without automatically logout by unload ABAP Web Dynpro. (I have a chance to call the ABAP Web Dynpro again via url to suspend before I call the other app.)

  • Calling a Web Dynpro Application from POWL feeder class

    Hi,
    I know this question is asked before but never answered, but I try again......
    I have a own POWL feeder class where I defined a button in method IF_POWL_FEEDER~GET_ACTIONS.
    I know that this action can be handled in method IF_POWL_FEEDER~HANDLE_ACTION.
    When pressing the button I want do call another web dynpro application.
    How can I do this? -> Any Example Coding?
    Thank you and best regards, Edgar

    Hi Vineet,
    it works, thanks a lot!!!!  Best Regards, Eddy
    P.S.: Here is the coding for triggering the event and passing parameters for the selected POWL table line:
    METHOD if_powl_feeder~handle_action.
      DATA: ls_parameter TYPE powl_namevalue_sty.
      DATA: lt_flights TYPE ty_flights.
      DATA: ls_flight TYPE sflight.
      DATA: ls_selected TYPE rstabix.
      FIELD-SYMBOLS: <lt_fligts> TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
      IF i_actionid = 'EDIT'.
    *   Important: this triggers the event
        e_portal_actions-fire_wdevent = abap_true.
    *   Pass parameters to event
        ASSIGN c_result_tab TO <lt_fligts>.
        lt_flights = <lt_fligts>.
    *   Determine the first selected row
        READ TABLE c_selected INTO ls_selected INDEX 1.
    *   Read selected POWL data
        READ TABLE lt_flights INDEX ls_selected-TABIX INTO ls_flight.
        CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
    *   Pass parameters
        ls_parameter-key = 'ACTIONID'.

        APPEND ls_parameter TO e_portal_actions-parameters.
        ls_parameter-key = 'FLDATE'.
        ls_parameter-value = ls_flight-fldate.
        APPEND ls_parameter TO e_portal_actions-parameters.
      ENDIF.
    ENDMETHOD.

  • Web Dynpro application callable object error: Page Builder Not available

    Hi, SDN Fellow.
    I created a callable object of Web Dynpro application. The callable object is atatched to an Action, and Action --> Block, and Block --> Process.
    I initiate the process in GP Runtime, when it comes to the Action screen the Web Dynpro application atatched to, I got the following error:
    The page builder required to display this application UI inside the portal environment is not available.
    As aa comparison, another callable object that atatched to a Web Dynpro component (that implement GP interface) is working fine.
    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance,
    KC

    Hi KC,
    When you start your process from GP Runtime, does the actual action/callable object open in a new window?
    Have a look at this SAP Note:
    [Error when executing a GP task - Page builder|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes/sdn_oss_bc_gp/~form/handler%7b5f4150503d3030323030363832353030303030303031393732265f4556454e543d444953504c4159265f4e4e554d3d393831353137%7d]
    Although the error message you are getting is different, but if your callable object opens in a new window, then the problem (in most probability) is the same as mentioned in the SAP Note.
    Also, try testing the Web Dynpro callable object in standalone mode. For more information on this, see:
    [Testing Callable Objects|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/4c/588041a17e060de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm]

  • Calling Web Dynpro application or URL from POWL

    Hi Friends,
    I need to call a Web Dynpro appl from a custom POWL. In my feeder class's method HANDLE_ACTION, i am not getting how to use e_portal_actions parameter for calling a URL of WD application. Pls help me out in this.
    Regards,
    Saud

    You can create a launchpad application through tran LPD_CUST and then in repsective method of POWL class you can launch your web dynpro application like this
    DATA ls_appl_param              TYPE APB_LPD_S_PARAMS.
      DATA lt_appl_param              TYPE APB_LPD_T_PARAMS.
      DATA lt_lpd_content             TYPE apb_lpd_t_content.
      DATA lr_lpd_content             TYPE REF TO apb_lpd_s_content.
      DATA lt_lpd_appl_params         TYPE apb_lpd_t_params.
      DATA lr_lpd_handle              TYPE REF TO cl_apb_launchpad_api.
      DATA lo_component     TYPE REF TO if_wd_component.
      DATA lr_provider      TYPE REF TO if_apb_lpd_provider.
      "Get launchpad handle
    lo_component = wd_comp_controller->wd_get_api( ).
    cl_apb_launchpad_api=>read_for_display( EXPORTING id_role = cl_oif_ui_assist=>sc_lpd_roles "Role Name
                                                       id_instance = cl_oif_ui_assist=>sc_lpd_instance " Instance Name for Launchpad
                                                       id_langu = sy-langu
                                                       ir_provider = lr_provider
                                                       ir_wd_component = lo_component
                                             RECEIVING er_launchpad = lr_lpd_handle ).
      CHECK lr_lpd_handle  IS BOUND.
      lt_lpd_content = lr_lpd_handle->get_content( ).
      READ TABLE lt_lpd_content REFERENCE INTO lr_lpd_content
                                WITH KEY link_text = cl_oif_ui_assist=>sc_lpd_link_text. "Link text for launchpad
          ls_appl_param-key = cl_oif_ui_assist=>wda_config_key.  "'SAP-WD-CONFIGID'. "app conf if any
          ls_appl_param-value = cl_oif_ui_assist=>CREATE_CONFIG_ID. "'MDG_OIF_CREATE_CONF'.
          APPEND ls_appl_param TO lt_appl_param.
          lt_lpd_appl_params = lr_lpd_content->application_parameter.
          "launch application
          lr_lpd_handle->launch_application(
            id_application_id         = lr_lpd_content->application_id
            it_application_parameters = lt_lpd_appl_params
            it_business_parameters =  lt_appl_param
