ALL of the websites I have checked the Model Number with are telling me that the Model Number you gave (Model A1332) is a iPhone 4.

you could try forcing it into recovery mode by turning it off, hold the home button and plug it into iTunes at the same time, keep holding the home button until iTunes says its detected a device that needs to be updated or restored. Then restore.

I have an apple tv 1st generation, and there is a setting for airtunes. can someone tell me what this is and how to use it?
I've looked at that, but on my PC, "look for remote speakers connected with airtunes" isn't an option.
The only options I get are "prevent ipods [etc] from syncing automatically" , "warn me when [X %] of the data on this computer will be changed" and "forget all remotes". Its also got a list of backups I have saved, as well as a button to reset sync history.
When I am playing a song, the "airplay" button isn't even visible.
I am sure that the apple tv setting is on as well. Is there anything else you can help me with? -
Updating iphone 4 to iOS 5 - while doing the Backup I receive an error message no 402636788 - backup has failed. Can anybody tell me what this means or how I can fix this?

Several times I've downloaded an album from iTunes to find that not all of the tracks were fully downloaded so that some of the tracks will skip to the next one (instead of finishing the song). Can anyone tell me why this happens and how I can fix it?
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.) -
Hello I am new to this and I have a older model Powerbook G4 I can not find a charger nowhere. Can someone please help me figure out where I can get one? I wanna give it to my 11 year old daughter.
There are generic power adapters for use with old model Apple portables such as this http://eshop.macsales.com/item/NewerTech/APLPBI65W/ available online; a few of them out there may not have much of a guaranty or look like the original model.
Any new-stock look-alike would be a copy; some from Amazon affiliated stores may be OK. I have older Apple portables (G4) and had been on the look-out for spares, so I have at least two that I know work. These are harder to find in second hand or thrift stores now, and less likely to function. However, there is this support page about the original parts. While adapters such as the macsales model linked above should be OK...
Yet be sure to not get a Magsafe adapter, since the connector & power won't work. The older iBook G4 power adapter and PowerBook G4 units are fairly similar; but note the details below. A 45w adapter for early white iBook (G3) probably won't do when a later model wants at least 60w.

How do I delete and stop all of the unwanted 702 emails that are coming into my acct on my iPad. Sure there are more coming now.
Frontier will not help unless I agree to a costly protection. Apple says I have to have their extra contract or pay for a one-time fee.
I cannot use my acct on my iPad this way.Not something I would suspect Apple could help with. The most obvious solution is to,change your email address. You might also check with your email provider and see if there an any anti-spam settings on the server that would help.

When I download an app it doesn't download automatically any more.. I've only had my iPad less than a month.
Just wondering why it has decided to change? XHere are a number of things that you can try.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons
And you can always finish the app updates in iTunes on your computer and then sync them to the iPad. -

It is not always possible to return a jailbroken phone to a pristine state. Jailbroken devices can NOT be discussed here per the terms of service. As for unlocking. It was previously hacked and has re-locked to the original carreir. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Find out who that is and contact them or do as steve359 advised above and try to return it for your money back.

So i have an apple ipod touch 1st generation and it is not charging! It shows the charging sign but its taking a really long time to charge. Ive had it charging for at least 3 hours and it still says under 20% so can someone help me figure this out??
