Yes you can definitely do this. You'll need an app on the iPad that handles PDF viewing and editing. There are many around - two of the best I've seen are GoodReader and PDF Expert.
In iTunes when you iPad is connected to your PC, go to the Apps tab and scroll down and you'll see the File Sharing section. You can drag files to there to share them to your iPad.
You could also look at online file sync services like PDF to ePub Maker if you prefer not to have to connect your iPad to a PC -
When I open iPhoto 9.2.1 it says that my library needs to be upgraded but when I upgrade the library I am trying to open (33 GB worth of pictures from 2006) the new application says it cannot read the files and how to find them on the system to reimport?! and then I'd like to erase the original files since the space requirement is huge!!!! hello, it sounds like the library is damaged.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. -

There are two ways to view ITHMB files. The first is to convert them to a more standard format, such as JPEG. You can try doing this with the help of the free utility, ithmbconv. The second way is to use the program iThmb Converter. It will let you view files without converting.

HELP!Go to www.videohelp.com and search dvd (or whatever format your movie is) to ipod. I personally use DVD Decryptor and Videora ipod converter. Both are free and work great. I went to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925 and did a complete removal and reinstallation of iTunes. You MUST follow the directions here exactly...it's more than just iTunes that must be removed, and it MUST be done in the order in which the support article says. I followed the exact instructions, and iTunes is back on my machine (no more C runtime error) and you do NOT lose your music...it's all in my library, as it was before.

How do I get home video clips from iMovie Mac to iMovie iPad? Surely there is some degree of cross-compatibility? I have a load of clips in iMovie on my MBP that I wanna download to my iPad2 so that I can edit movies on the move. Any ideas? (The clips are in a .mov format, they have been imported / converted into this format in iMovie, original files were from a JVC camcorder in some other strange format.)
I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!" -

If you are using the 2nd or 3rd gen Apple TV (little black box) then it would have no syncing or storage capability.
iTunes content would be accessed using home sharing.

If you are have iTunes 11 on your Mac then you may want to re-enable the left-hand sidebar via View > Show Sidebar (option-command-S on a Mac), which might make it easier to navigate.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders (or iPhoto ro Aperture albums) to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad (unless you want to remove all synced photos), instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync. -

Connect the phone to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (on iTunes 11 on a PC you can enable the sidebar via control-S), and then on the right-hand side of iTunes select the Books tab and you should then be able to select and sync the audiobook to your phone - when you have audiobooks on your phone you should get an Audiobooks section in the Music app

I'm not able to copy and paste files from my mac to hard disk and usb. I have tried dragging the items I want to copy to those devices but it won't work. I also have tried copying and pasting those files onto those devices too but that doesn't work too. Can any one help?

I would like to copy my iPhoto (9.4.1) library from my Mac Pro (10.7.5) to a Macbook Pro (10.7.5). Can I drag the iPhoto Library from the Pictures folder to Air Drop and send them to the MacBook? If I then move that to the Pictures folder on the MacBook will that then be a usable iPhoto library on the Macbook?
It would be better if you could connect the two Macs via a hard wired LAN to copy the library from the Mac Pro to the MacBook. Wireless connections can have momentary dropouts which could affect the reliable copying of files.
If you do go with Air Drop be sure to open and inspect the copied library closely to confirm it was a successulf copy.
