Help by reading the pdf files

I have follow problem. I use the pdftohtml project(using xpdf 3.02) to convert pdf files into html.
i have problems in reading some files. When the pdf is writtend in some non-standart font using russian charters the conversion into Unicode fails. Maybe some body know how to solve this problem.
Or you can propose some better converter.

On Android OS 4.1 - 4.3 (Jelly Bean) or older, Adobe Reader for Android version 11.2.x has a known defect in the "All PDFs" view. The All PDFs view does not show the files and folders on an external SD card. A workaround is to use the Folder View instead of the All PDFs view. We have fixed the defect and plan to include the fix in the next release of Reader for Android.
On Android OS 4.4 (KitKat) only, neither All PDFs view nor Folder View shows any files or folders on an external SD card. Reader cannot save any changes to the files on an external SD card, either. We are still working on fixing the problems. In the meantime, please copy the files from your external SD card to your device's internal storage (e.g. /storage/emulated/0/Documents/...) using a File Manager/Browser app or use a cloud storage service (Acrobat.com, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) to store files. Sorry for the inconvenience.

hi all,
we got the requirement that we have to display the salary statement and form16 in the portal.
we are not using the sap for the pay roll.
pay roll will run by the third party....they will keep all salary slips in the one folder under the server.
so from the third party server we have to get the salary statement in to our application......third party will storing the file with salcode.pdf.
can you help me to resolve this?

(means if file name =Login id that has to open)

Why has adobe reader stopped reading the pdf files on external SD memory?

I have Samsung not 2 with external sd memory that I stored all my pdf files into it , I haven't had any problem with using Adobe reader for reading all files from my sd memory but for unknown reason I can't see all pdf files from sd anymore. In order to reach the files ,I have to use the folders view tab in the adobe reader instead of all pdf files view .

How to read from pdf file using VB

I have a PDF file which contains three columns, emp no, designation, contact_info. I have 10 rows in that pdf file. I want to read row by row from the pdf file and write into another text file(tab delimited) using VB.
Could you please help me reading the pdf file?

Without reading it in detail, this seems to be automating a save as text function in Acrobat. This will not give you any position information.
If you want position information without writing a plug-in, you need to use the getPageNthWord and getPageNthWordQuads methods in JavaScript.
If you have not already done so, you will need to download the Acrobat SDK which has the documentation you need.
Writing in C# makes even very simple things complicated; if you have a choice, consider VB.

How read the PDF and XML files after Unzipping the folder

I have a zipped folder and i this two types of files .XML and .PDF files.
I am able to unzip the folder and reading the .XML files, unable to read the PDF files.
I want to send this PDF file to the target as it is.

Acrobat is a paid software and used to read and edit the pdf files.
Reader is the free software used to just read the pdf files.

iTextSharp Pdf.
iText is a third party library to create PDF originally written for java. iTextSharp is
the C# adaptation of that library.

I've tried opening the file in ibooks, on ipad, in Safari, and straight from e-mail, but it can't open the .pdf file. Could it be corrupted? I'm brand new to the MBP so may be missing something obvious!

If Preview won't read the pdf file, try Adobe Reader. It is possible, of course, that the file may actually be damaged, as Preview should be able to open the file.

You may be mixing up two entirely different Adobe products.
1. Adobe Flash Player. Needed to view web pages designed with Flash. Not needed to view PDF files. Not available for Android (not just Sony).
2. Adobe Reader. Reads PDF files. However, the Android can also read most PDF files without needing Adobe Reader.

I keep on getting a message from WebKit2WebProcess.exe that the LogTransport2.dill was not found. (I HATE PCs...) I tried reinstalling Acrobat 9. I tried reinstalling Safari. I even tried an older version of Safari. Nothing Helped. Others have tried it on their machine, and it worked fine. But I do not know what is the matter with mine.
