HELP: cant listen videos

i have problems with the videos, i can watch, but cannot listen them. when i drag a video to itunes i can watch and hear it ok, but when i "convert selection for ipod" when the conversion is finished i can watch it also in itunes,but cannot listen to it. Please help me. Thanx

Quicktime, Quicktime Pro and iTunes don't convert "muxed" ( muxed means multiplexed where the audio and video are stored on the same track) video files properly. It only plays the video and not the audio.

You need a 3rd party converter to convert the file with both audio and video.

Help, cant view video

ok, i visit a site that has a video section. i have always
managed to watch videos on it until we had an update for itunes.
since then i cant watch the videos. we did a system restore to
before the itunes update and all was well again but however, itunes
disappeared so we had to do the system restore again to get itunes
back but now the video issue has returned. we have winXp sp2 and i
am desperate to resolve this issue.
when i go to th site, the player is there but when i click on
the play button it turns yellow and the loading bar only goes half
way along.this is so doing my head in. please can anyone help me.
EDIT..... i noticed last night that the site i visit has the
video page ( that i cant get to work ) but they also have videos in
another section and they work,.......strange. pleeeeese can someone
advise ? i have emailed the site concerned and await their reply.

I also have the same problem about downloading the adobe 8 or
9 and it also don't download the video as well. I as well have this

HELP, CANT VIEW VIDEO DOWNLOADED FROM ITUNES

hi just bought an ipod video, and downloaded a video podcast from itunes, it shows on my ipod in itunes but not on the actual ipod when i disconnect and search for it, also my podcasts are not listed in the podcast list there just listed in the music, any help would be much apprciated.

Yea rudegar its weird. I dont have sound either. I have read to put airave behind router but I cant find anywhere how to hook all the wires up. I have 2 ports in the back of the airport express(1 wan and 1 ethernet), 1 port on my modem and 3 ports on the airave(wan and 2 lan). I dont know which cable goes where, wan ,lan, ethernet, back of computer etc. Im an idiot when it comes to all this stuff but Im sure its simple fix but obviously not for me. I read people put modem to router to airave but dont say which port to put them in.

In addition to Mike's suggestions, you only have 4GB of RAM and Mavericks does use more RAM than other versions. You may also want to look at the apps that startup on login and the possiblity of upgrading RAM.

If you have your iPod set to Manually manage music (iTunes -> Preferences -> iPod -> Music... Manually manage music), then you need to manually manage videos as well.
Just drag and drop them onto the iPod, like you do with music files.

Hi, I have a problem with my iPod or iTunes ( don´t know which one is the problem ).
When I transfer a video from my computer to my iPod using iTunes it shows its a video ( the video is mpeg4 )all good till here then I disconnect my iPod and watch the video ( on my iPod ) and everything still good till here, here comes the problem I connect my iPod again to my computer, open iTunes but the video that I was watching before connect it now appears like a song and can´t watch it on my iPod I can only listen to it like a song.
Why happen this ?

Yes I am using the version of iTunes that u said and I use videora for enconde the videos.
I´ll be more specific, I transfer a video to my ipod using itunes then I disconnect the ipod and watch my video using my ipod, I connect again my ipod, open itunes but the video I had transfered disapeared from my ipod and I can only play it, the one in ipod, using itunes.
Now if I click on the "Get info"/Summary, it shows its a video file, but If I go the the "otpions tab" the video type ( music video, movie etc ) dosen´t exits.
I know that I can listen videos like songs but what I mean is that the video switched for some reason to audio type so I can only listen to it and its supposed to be a video file. ( on my ipod )

I cant watch videos. Flash player is asking me to update but Firefox is blocking it.

Hello, ive recently just got Nokia 500, i've updated all the upgrades and everything, now i want to watch videos online, but i cant, there is like a "Flash Player" sign on the top left corner, this is strange because i cant watch videos on youtube.

Now to answer your question, have you checked that you have all your settings for access point and data access correct with your network carrier? and have you tried going to http://m.youtube.com and does it play videos there? Or have you tried a dedicated app from the Nokia Store such as cuteTube and does that play videos?

Cant drag video onto ipod downloaded from itunes

Ive been downloading videos from itunes, for example "Joe Cartoon" podcast. I got the first few episodes onto my ipod fine, since then though i cant get videos onto the ipod. They download fine from itunes but when i try to drag them onto the ipod i get the black circle with the line through it. ive checked the info and they are mpeg4. Does anyone else have this problem or have any solutions?!

I only have a few suggestions for you, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to at least try. Have you tried accessing these TV shows outside the playlist they reside in? Just access them from the main list of TV Shows if at all possible or if that isn't what you are doing currently.
It might not hurt to also try to restore the iPod and start from scratch allowing fresh copies of the TV Shows to sync over to your iPod. There may have been a syncing issue that corrupted your TV Shows. If that isn't the case, your iPod is having trouble with the video playback.
