Help editing a template, this one seems tricky

Hi,
if you take a look at the
main_v7 swf file (down below), you will see the original
template.
main_v7_02 is the version I'm working on.
the problem: if you take a look at the file I'm working on,
and move the cursor over 'partners' and click on it, you should see
that the photo is getting squashed. I'd like to have the photo
disappear right when the link is clicked, to avoid the squash
effect. The photo is a bitmap. If I turn the bitmap into a button,
the clickable area (or 'hit' area) ends up interfering with the
link that expands the rectangle, so I've given up on that idea.
Anyone have an ideas? Solutions?
Thanks so much,
E.

You could convert the image to a MovieClip symbol and give it
an instance name, then in your onPress or onRelease code you could
just make the image invisible by using:
theinstancename._visible = false
or
theinstancename._alpha = 0
of course you'd have to remember to make the image visable
again afterwards.

    I don't know which old version you're referring to but iPhoto 6's,  7's and 8's retouch tool works exactly the same as iPhoto 9's. The color of the enhance tool's area while applying is a light brown color but the retouch works on any color using the surrounding colors as a basis.

  • Another Dynamic header question, but this one is tricky. help!

    I have a prompt that has values like
    Version1
    Version2
    Version3
    Depending on the version selected, two general value columns called VALUE1 and VALUE2 need to have their headers changed.
    for example, if Version1 is selected then Value1 column heading should be Budget and Value2 heading should be Forecast.
    How can i achieve this? It seems a repository variable will not work. Also, I tried using one prompt based on another prompt but got stuck.

    You can do this
    prompt based on other prompt and writing a case statement
    Create a pv for pmt1 and write a case statement for  prompt2 passing the variable from first prompt
    case when '@{pv1}'='version1; then 'budget'... to the second pmt(pv2)
    once done, on the dashboard page edit the dashboard properties and we can put this second pmt as a dashboard filter and save the dashboard page
    now on the report column header use '@{pv2}' .Thats it.
    It should work.I have done this already!!
    Good luck.

  • Audio Sync Issue ... this one is tricky

    Well, it's tricky for me anyway. I'm hoping this is a no brainer for someone out there and I can kick myself in the pants and call myself stupid when this is all over.
    Here is the setup.
    Talk Show. 2 Camera project (C1 and C2) in Final Cut Pro. When the footage was shot, there were two audio lines (A1 and A2) going to C1. A1/C1 were for the host and A2/C2 for the guest. Both Camera's capturing on P2 cards.
    Okay, the project is all complete in FCP, everything is in sync. I print to DVC Pro, everything is in sync. I export to a QT file for DVD Studio and burn it to DVD and get this .. ALL AUDIO IS IN SYNC EXCEPT FOR THE FOOTAGE OF C2.
    I could understand if the entire thing drifted out of sync, but this is just weird. This is not an isolated incidence either. Every time I edit this show this is a problem. Is this an issue that can be addressed in Compressor or with export setting from FCP?

    Please do not double post. Keep the discussion to one thread - preferably the linked one.

  • Help me out on this one ?

    Hi,
    maybe sumone can help me out. Suppose i have made a payment ( document type 'KZ')
                    debit         credit
    bank            9,500
    Tax              500
    vendor                        10,000
    I am making a report for cleared items (document type 'KZ') in which i have 3 columns in which i have to show sumthing like this(against each vendor in the bseg),
    col1     col2   col 3
    10,000  9,500    500
    each line item in my report will be of a vendor so i have to give a condition like (KOART = 'K') but i also have to show WRBTR of other line items(of the same document) in the respective columns.
    can you demostrate with an example or sumthing..
    thanks.
    Shehryar

    Hi,
      Please let me know if it works for you. Sort the bseg internal table by belnr bukrs gjahr and buzei. The first record will always be a customer or a vendor line item.
      If you are using an ALV report you can check for G/L account in the else condition to display in the corresponding columns.
    sort t_bseg by belnr bukrs gjahr buzei.
    loop at t_bseg into s_bseg.
      If s_bseg-koart = 'K'.
        WRITE: / s_bseg-wrbtr.
      else.
        write: s_bseg-wrbtr.
      ENDIF.
    endloop.
    Thanks,

  • Itunes doesn't open...this one is tricky!

    Ok, here's the situation.
    I installed itunes from the cd that came with my video ipod.
    Ok, done deal. Right? Wrong. Then id wouldn't install. Some 0x80040707 error. Got that fixed with registry repair.
    Re-installed itunes. Went through this time.
    Tried to open it - - here's what happens NO MATTER WHAT I DO... "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
    I've tried looking on apple.com, did everything, nothing works. Still unable to open.
    I've even tried doing a system restore, defragmenting the HD, making sure there was no viruses, spyware, fixed the registry and exausted all my means. I am at the end.
    What should I do?
    windows xp with service pack two and NO updates are needed.
    Thanks for any help.

    neither?!
    Also, trust me, I've uninstalled, reinstalled like 7 or 48 times.
    It doesn't make cents.
    Itunes is in msconfig (startup) three times.
    So, I did a search for itunes and tried to remove everything associated with itunes. The computer wouldn't let me remove several things because it was a 'something' file.
    So, i've just tried it again and am so unlucky.
    Here's the thing... once it did work. I SWEAR. but the IPOD itself wasn't working so I tried removing it and reinstalling it. I think that's when it alllllll weeeeennnnnnnttttttttt downhill.
    I thank you for your reply and may God give you the ability to help me find my way through these trying times.
    Sincerely,
    AL

  • Who can help a newbie solve THIS one???

    Ok,
    I have made a class that looks like this...
    class holder{
    JRadioButton button = new JRadioButton();
    int x =0;
    int y =0;
    I have now made 3 objects of class holder and placed each RadioButton from the 3 objects onto the applet screen. I have also added itemlisteners for each button.
    This is my problem. When a holder object is clicked, I want to do two things. I want to change the icon AND be able to change the x and/or y variable.
    I can get the source of the object by doing something like this....
    AbstractButton source = (AbstractButton) itm.getSource() ;
    but when I try something like this
    Holder source = (Holder) itm.getSource
    and then click on the button in the applet I get a ClassCastException error.
    Any ideas?

    class holder{
    JRadioButton button = new JRadioButton();
    int x =0;
    int y =0;
    your holder HAS a JRadioButton but not IS a JRadioButton
    so you cannot do the casting like that
    define like
    class holder extends JRadioButton
    and you can cast holder to JRadioButton
    i thought u want to do sth like
    class holder extends JRadioButton{ int x; int y;}
    class test extends Applet {
         private holder ;
         public void init() {
         h =0 new holder();
         holder.addActionListener(new holderHandler(this)); // pass in applet
         add(holder);
         class holderHandler implements ActionListener{
              Applet applet;
              public holderHandler(Applet a) {applet =a ;}
              public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
              {  changing x,y event here}
    }

    Zaxist

    Hello Zaxist,
    I must say this script is driving me nuts since the beginning.
    How hard can it be for a (simple) percentage preloader to use on our (Edge Animate) website?
    It was all so easy in Flash. A different story now.
    I can see when pasting the code below (or yours) in the Preloader "loading" event, the code gets triggered 3 times.
    So it seems it works (in Chrome) but 2 of the 3 loading overlays (+loadbar and text) won't remove like it should.
    I don't have a solution for this either, but maybe someone with much more javascript experience can help us out with this one?
    The nicest thing would be if the Adobe Edge Animate team provide us something simple we can put in the Preloader "loading" event like:
    sym.$("ldr_txt").html(e.loaded+"%");
    or maybe the use of (e.bytesloaded) and (e.bytestotal)?
    Wouldn't that be great? Maybe they are working on this?
    I really hope we finally can get a proper solution for this.
    An animated gif (as we have now) is simply not enough.
    Kind Regards,
    Lester.
    The below code is almost the same of yours, without the CSS.
    var QueryLoader = {
              overlay: "",

    At line?
    You cat use the dbms_output to look where it fails, but i suppose is at
    select t.co_util into sqlstr
        from od_compoff_data od , table(od.compoff) t
        where upper(od.email_id) =upper('[email protected]')
        and t.co_date=ref_date;you can use something like
    if v_date =1 then
      begin
         select t.co_util into sqlstr
        from od_compoff_data od , table(od.compoff) t
        where upper(od.email_id) =upper('[email protected]') and t.co_date=ref_date;
       exception when no_data_found then
        sqlstr := 'This what you need';
       end;
      end if;

  • This may seem like a silly question but I need it answered plz

    This may seem like a silly question but I am pretty new to
    dreamweaver but I am learning it. The question I have is this. When
    your typing a paragraph and hit enter to make the next line of text
    it goes down 2 spaces. Sometimes I don't want those two spaces. I
    want no space between the two sentences. How do you put one
    sentence below another with no spaces? Thanks in advance. I seems
    to have figured out all the other basic stuff except for this one
    thing lol. Thanks for the help in advance.

    Please help ! Why can I not " move and scale my pictures as wallpaper on my iPad mini ? I can do it on my ipad and iPhone. No one seems to be able to help. I am not alone in this but nothing is being done to solve this problem. I have googled and there is a lot of discussion on this, many updates have happened , but still I am unable to do it. Very frustrating !

    Do you have the parallax effect (the 3D effect) 'on' (Settings > General > Accessibillity > Reduce Motion 'off') ? If you do then you will either need to create higher resolution versions of your images, or turn that effect 'off'.
    From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5595 :
    When the parallax effect is on, you may notice the following:
    Wallpaper, icons, and alerts shift slightly as you move your phone.
    When you set a wallpaper in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, the photo or image will be slightly zoomed and can't be scaled to fit the screen.
    If you zoom in, you will need to rescale your wallpaper to fit to the screen. You can't rescale certain photo formats, including landscape or square images.

  • I have had an apple iPad 2 for less than a year and I have less than 2 pages of apps but when I look at the space meter the "other" section is taking up 6.7 Gb out of 16 Gb on it. I have researched this on the Internet and no one seems to know what it is.

    I have had an apple iPad 2 (16 Gb) for less than a year with less than two pages of apps, but when I look at the bar which tells you how much space you have used, it says I have 6.7 Gb worth of "other" space used. I am unable to download any apps on account of all the space used. I have researched this problem and I can't seem to find an explanation. If anyone knows the solution or has spoken to apple about this please help if you can. Thank you!

    The long and short of it is that you will probably have to restore your iPad. That giant "other" space is a sign of a corrupt file from a sync, I am pretty sure, but I am quite sure that the way to resolve it is to restore the iPad.
    You can search the discussion site for similar threads but I think you will find that a restore is the way to correct it. Read this one.

    I am not sure what your problem is, can you give more details.
    One possibility is you may be in full screen mode, for details on fixing that see the [[menu bar is missing]] article.
    If you are missing various toolbar items, see the [[back and forward or other toolbar items are missing]] article.
    If your problem is something else please give more details.
