Help - Finished downloading photoshop trial, was prompted to restart comp, now can't resume install!
Hey all,
I have just finished downloading the photoshop trial version which was almost 1 gig, and when it started to install it told me that my computer was due for a restart so i quit the install and restarted my computer, and now when I start up the download manager again I can't find any way to access my previous download so I can install it. It seems that it is going to make me download it all over again which is not really an option for me. Is there any way to resume that initial installation again so I do not have to download the entire thing all over again?? Just because it said I was "due for a restart"... I shouldve ignored it and continued with the installation @_@ but I was just trying to do the right thing.

Where are my downloaded products?
When you start the download, the Adobe Download Assistant prompts you to select a destination folder for the trial products. To locate products downloaded using the Adobe Download Assistant, navigate to the folder you selected when you started the download.
Note: Trial products that have only partially completed their download have the filename extension .adadownload. If you see such files, restart Adobe Download Assistant and resume/complete the download and installation. (See How do I pause and resume interrupted downloads?) If you remove products from the Adobe Download Assistant queue, any partially downloaded products are removed from your system.

Problem trying to Download Photoshop Trial
When i clic the button to download Photoshop Trial i receive a message saying that it must be downloaded in a computer. I am doing it on my computer (Dell Inspiron one2310 windows 7 Home Premium). I've seen in Internet someone that said the same from an aslo touchscreen computer, this case an HP.
i am having the same problem - i just spent 2 hours trying to get tech help - they say they can't find a problem - i get 3 error messages after the program is 100% downloaded and then says it cannot finish the download. - the tech helpers can't help - they just send me back to the website. i get this message -

i've been through seting up a/c; creating user name;pw; screen name...yet when i want to download photoshop trial, am confronted with impassable hurdle...AIR registartion with another user name & pw...what is this?
Could you provide some details about the computer you're using.
Is the prompt you're referring to, asking for your computer's Administrator account and password? It might be asking for this information to authenticate the installation.
If this is your OS security dialog, please enter your username and password to authenticate yourself and give permission to install the software. -

I get this message and won't let me download...
You are running an operating system that Photoshop no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements for a full list of supported platforms.Ah.. I am running 10.6.8

Could you help me please?Whatever you do, DO NOT REFORMAT THE DRIVE. You can just get a small <500Gb EXTERNAL bus powered drive, dismantle it and follow the instructions above. If you already have one then that's even better.
The drive I'm showing here is the drive that used to be inside of my computer. It took apart an old 320Gb seagate drive. The connections on these drives are all universally interchangeable. They just add some circuits and a USB (or other) interface. I would just get the cheapest drive that you can get that is for laptops and looks simple to take apart. (This is almost exactly the drive that I did this too http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-FreeAgent-Portable-External-ST903203FAA2E1-RK/dp/B 001FWIE0K/ref=sr_1_56?ie=UTF8&qid=1343340447&sr=8-56&keywords=seagate+external+h ard+drive)
The "old internal" drive should still be able to allow you to install ML on the "new" drive as long as you tell it to. It sounds complicated, but it's really not once you get in there and start doing it. It was actually quite easy. -

The installer should have gone into your Apple Software Update folder:
C:\USERS\<user name>\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update

If you need to find your serial number for a non-creative cloud product as mentioned above, start by logging in to your adobe account. (Go to Adobe .com and click “Sign In” in the upper-right menu bar. Enter the email you use as your Adobe ID and your password.) All of your registered products and their serial numbers are listed in the Plans & Products section on the Manage Accounts page that appears.

Hi i have download photoshop to try it 60 days, but i can't open photoshop. I have windows 8 in my computer?
When photoshop installs on windows 8, odds are you will not see it on the start page. You will need to right click on the background or if you upgraded to 8.1 then click on the down arrow at the bottom left of start page.
This will bring up a page that shows all apps. Scroll across until you see photoshop CC or photoshop CC 2014. Click on that name to bring it up. Before you do, you can right click on that name and pin it to the start page and or the taskbar. Then it will be easier for you run it the next time. -
I downloaded the trial version of Final Cut Pro, but am unable to install it. This is the final name, 'FinalCutProTrial10.0.6.dmg.crdownload'.

I have no idea what my pocket has apparently downloaded today while I was at work but I now can't here any tones on my iPhone 4...has this happened to anyone ive tried restarting it and it worked for a second then a thing popped up on my screen and nothing again
Ok mate no need to talk to me like im a complete idiot, and no it is not on silent im not that stupid. There is a message pop up on my screen saying 'this accessory is not optimized for this iPhone' and underneith 'you may experience noise caused by cellular interference and a decrease in cellular signal strength' and under that only one option to press which says dismiss. I cant find anything in my settings or applications and have tried resetting my phone 3 times and still nothing only plays ringtones ever now and then wont play music from ipod, youtube or other applications.

I just downloaded iOS 6 on my iPhone 4 and now can no longer open internet links that were texted to me. Anyone else having the same problem or know how to fix this?
The SMS links thing is highly annoying. You don't have to copy/paste however. You should see an icon like this: (>) to the right of the text bubble with the link. Tap on that, the in the screen that opens, tap "Visit".
Alternatively, you can tap twice directly on the link, then hold your finger down after the second tap.
Still unnecessarily difficult, but not as bad as copy/paste.
What I don't get is why can't I find any mention of this change or how to fix it (if even possible) elsewhere online?
