Help needed for Netstat Logs - unrecognized connections, how do I get rid of them?
HI,
I've tried to gather as much info as possible - running traceroute on some and also looking up ip addy - to help you help me
I've been monitoring this and Level 3 Communications and 24/7 Media have been repeated connections over many many days.
Question: When running traceroute on an ip addy found in netstat, is the last host name the physical location of where the connected computer is? For example, is the one below 208.71.125.44.80 - locatedin Washinton State or Washington DC?
Question: How can I stop or disconnect these connections? For example, in the 208.71.125.44.80 example - are they connected to my port 51599? I checked to see open ports and this number did not come up.

Following is one possibility that may help: Why does my iOS device say I have more photos than I can find?

So there are all these songs, from ADELE to Zapp and Roger. I don't recall purchasing any of them. Some of them were clearly purchased years ago by my daughter, who now has a different account (and doesn't know the current password to my account).
They do not show up anywhere in iTunes except on the iPad. They are not downloaded to the iPad - but I don't want them to show up in the purchased index. How do I get rid of them? Do I have to join iMatch or whatever to do this?
Also, this may explain why we're being told our iCLoud storage is full - there are actually hundreds of these unwanted songs.
Any ideas?Purchased music does not count against your iCloud storage and you cannot get rid of them in the purchased tab.
What is backed up
You get unlimited free storage for:
Purchased music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books
Notes: Backup of purchased music is not available in all countries. Backups of purchased movies and TV shows are U.S. only. Previous purchases may not be restored if they are no longer in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
Some previously purchased movies may not be available in iTunes in the Cloud. These movies will indicate that they are not available in iTunes in the Cloud on their product details page in the iTunes Store. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
Look here for help on managing iCloud storage.

Alt tags for Flash content; How do I get rid of them
With the new Dreamweaver update, all my flash files have
acquired Alt tags. I imagine this has something to do with the
javascript it is now using to load the content. However, how do I
get rid of them! My clients HATE them, and I do too!OK -
This is the only markup you need to worry about -
<script type="text/javascript">
AC_FL_RunContent(
'codebase','
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#
version=8,0,22,0','width','751','height','126','src','../SWFs/topNav?<%=Request.
QueryString%>','quality','high','wmode','transparent','pluginspage','
http://www.
macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer','movie','../SWFs/topNav?<%=Request.QueryString
%>' ); //end AC code
</script>
But I have to ask you - what is the VBScript in there doing?
It seems to me
to be invalid as well - 'request.querystring' needs a
"(stringname)" or an
empty (), no?
So - there is no "alt" attribute specified in there (nor can
there even be
one on Flash, anyhow). Without seeing the actual page, I can
only shrug and
say I have no idea....

I purchased a used iphone4 and the phone displays the previous owners apple id and prompts me for the previous owners password. how do i get rid of his info....and install my own apple id number?
Login to the app store with YOUR ID. You can't use the app store without an Apple ID. If there are apps on the phone that were purchased with the original owners ID, you do NOT own them. The owner had no legal right to give them to you and they are permanently tied to the ID that was used to purchase them.
...i was also allowed to purchase an apple network id for this phone...
I have absolutely NO IDEA what you mean by that. You can not "purchase an apple network id". -
There are several login keychain items I'd like to get rid of. I've deleted them but they come back after several hours. How can I get rid of them for good.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked
Keep login keychain unlocked
is not checked, check it.
Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access. -

Those look alot like file names and not infection names. I don't find any reference to anything like that on Norton or VirusTotal. Since you said these were Trojans, I would expect to see "Trojan" as part of the infection name.
".jar" files are executable Java applets. The random alpha-numerics would seem to indicate a cache file, likely from a browser with Java enabled. And we all know what ".zip" means.
Worst case is that you had Java enabled in a browser and were infected by one of the late variants of the Flashback Trojan over a year ago or one of a couple of other attacks using the same vulnerability but targetted against a small number of political sympathizers. Much more probable is that thes were Windows only Trojans. Hopefully you have a fully up-to-date OS X, including Java, and have disabled Java in all your browsers by now. -

ITunes on iCloud has created unwanted multiple playlists. How can I get rid of them?
iTunes on iCloud has created unwanted multiple playlists. How can I get rid of them?
Hi, if this is in regards to your library simply open up itunes and do the following steps:
Click File
Scroll down to "show duplicates"
A list will then appear of your duplicate song titles.
Be sure to CAREFULLY review each song to make sure it is a duplicate ( as I have some music that is the same song but live, acoustic etc...)
Proceed to manually delete each song from the list and leave alone any song that you wish to keep.
For playlists, you will need to hit the name tab so that your doubles line up, from there you will have to manually delete them, it helps to hold the Control button to select multiple songs as a time ( they will be highlighted) then when your done selecting the songs you wish to delete, right click your mouse and select the delete option from the window tab.
Best of luck, please rate my response for help!
