HELP NEEDED PLSQL urgent plz

hi all,
i would like to know if there is any other way to use LIKE statement in plsql.
select count (distinct panel_nm) into lv_count
          from dcon_mv_raj
          where al_clinical_trial_nm=lv_trial_nm
          and panel_nm like '%lv_pan1%';
when i am trying the above query ..it is giving me as the count '0' for the different lv_pan1 when i ran it in a procedue.but when i ran the same query in a sql editor it is working fine..
need urgently please..

is lv_pan1 - variable ?
Then you have to write the query dynamically
or with INSTR- Function (IMHO, it's a better solution).
select count (distinct panel_nm) into lv_count
from dcon_mv_raj
where al_clinical_trial_nm=lv_trial_nm
and INSTR(panel_nm, lv_pan1) > 0;
You search, whether variable panel_nm contains the values of lv_pan1

Hi,
Check whether in server, MultipartBodyParameterName property is set to "com.sap.servlet.multipart.body" . You can check this by going to Visual Admin -> Cluster tab -> Services -> web container -> Properties sheet.

WRT160N Version 3; SERIOUS HELP NEEDED FOR SETUP PLZ??!?!?!

I bought this router probably around 3 weeks ago.
The following is a list of chronological scenarios that i have tried in order to install it and everything during the first week that i got it:
1. I followed the CD's instructions, got LELA, but then when i used LELA to 'add another computer' it just gave an error, and then after this i could not be screwed using LELA anymore and so i uninstalled it, and then went online to 192.168.1.1 to configure the settings of the router, SSID, password and security which i put was WPA2 etc.
BUT THIS DID not work at all, i have 2 laptops, 1 of them which is new, and the other which was a couple of years old, they could not detect anything.
2. I then did some internet research, and read on these forums that i needed to change some of its advanced wireless settings, i did that. And then I could actually connect......and was extremely happy at this moment, BUT the next day i noticed, that even though i was about a metre away from the router, my speed was varying BADLY, initially when i first connect with my new laptop which has a Intel Wifi 5100AGN adapter it has a speed of 144mbps, but when i open internet explorer, i see the speed going slower and slower, until it is 1mbps, and sometimes the wireless just cuts out. This happened to my other laptop as well.
3. I then called for technical assistance, spent so much time talking trying to solve, and downloaded the latest firmware, reflashed the router, but still it has this problem of slowing speeds which is really frustrating.
And doing some more talking and following more instructions from the person on the phone, both my laptops could not connect to the router, even though it can see it at 'Excellent' connectivity.
4. And so, the person on the phone concluded that i should exchange the router with new one, which i am planning to do, and will probably get it tomorrow. But i am also thinking to myself whether or not to get a different one.
SOME NOTES:
-When it is wired the internet works fine
-the adapter in the older laptop is a intel 2200BG, so i know that it would probably go at a max speed of 54mbps
-when i said changing advanced wireless settings, i meant changing frequency/RTS/beacon levels etc to the values i have seen on these fourms.
CURRENTLY, since i am exchanging i have gone back to the old ASUS router which is G. and it connects well with the old laptop with a constant speed of 54mbps, but havent tried the new laptop as i can not be bothered. Also my main reason of getting a N router is just for range, because with the current one, i just cannot detect the router when i am in my bedroom, which is less than 20m, even if i can detect it is is very poor connectivity, WHERE AS with the WRT160n before i exchanged it, i could detect at first with Excellent connectivity, but as i said, the problems with speed and wireless cutting out etc is what results from this router.
I guess my main point is that, i want to ask any of you have used the VERSION 3 of WRT160N, and is currently working very well wirelessly. Can u please tell me the step-by-step instructions to help me set this router perfectly?

Try updating both of your laptops wireless cards that could fix the problem (you know may not be compatible with your WRT160N).
I know you said you changed the channel your router broadcasting in but do you have a lot of other wireless networks in your area???

JOption Pane help needed! urgent

For a programming assignment in my AP Comp Sci class, we had to create a method (example: public int BlahBlah (int blah)). The instructions also say to use JOptionPane for inputing the int needed. However, because I created the method, it automatically brings up the method input box, AS WELL as the JOptionPane box I wrote in the code. So, essentially, I am getting two input boxes when all I want is the JOptionPane one.
Also, it is the JOptionPane number that I input that is used for the output.
How am I supposed to write a method but disable the method input box, and instead keep the JOptionPane box?

Help needed very urgent

I have problem in downloading a file through a servlet. Let me put my points clearly.
When a client requests my servlet using setcontenttype, setheader methods I prompt for the 'save' option.
The client can choose the file and save in his local directory.
The problem now is, if he cancels in between or at the initial stage itself an exception saying 'connection reset by peer' should be thrown at the server side.
When I execute the servlet in javawebserver2.0/weblogic 5.0, the exception is thrown.
Whereas when I use the same servlet in weblogic6.0sp1win no exception is thrown.
I want the exception to be thrown even in weblogic6.0sp1win.
How to overcome this problem. Please help me out at the earliest.

Realignment table cannot be activated - help needed - Very urgent

Iam new to SCM and in the process of learning it. Iam trying to work with the realignment transaction /sapapo/rlgcopy. When i try to create a table , after characteristics selection it gives error "Realignment table cannot be activated". How do i proceed from there. Please help.
It would be helpful if somebody could send a link that explains realignment steps in detail. I tried help.sap.com , but could not understand clearly. Kindly help

I have a question regarding tabbedPanes
In the Java Sun Site,there is an example of using JTabbedPane using an
example called DiveLog.
There is a line showing

I am type casting Welcome() to a Component and this works fine!!!!
How can Java Sun give such an example??
Am I right in typecasting the class to Component as addTab expects
a component!!!
Please correct me if we can use new Welcome() as given in the example.

I don't know this example ... but if Welcome extends any Component there should be no need for a cast. Is the problem during runtime or during compile time? Maybe the cast satisfies the compiler, but not the JRE because Welcome does not extend any Component?

Major Help Needed. URGENT :(

I don't know what generation iPod I have, but I don't think it's the most recent one.
Anyway, here's my problem. I got this iPod on my birthday, and it's been running fine. I notice one day (don't remember exactly when) that it starts freezing when I hook it up to charge. The "Do Not Disconnect" screen doesn't flash. My dad and my sister have iPods like mine, their DND screens flash, which means they aren't frozen. No dice with mine. Also, iTunes does not recognize it, and quite frankly, I'm at the end of my rope. Listed below are some diagnostics I ran using the iTunes diagnostic dealie.

Am I to assume that my iPod is beyond repair? Or is there some miracle cure to save it? Don't suggest formatting it, because if iTunes won't even recognize it, I can't format it. This whole thing is really ******* me off, because right now, I have a glorified paperweight.
I'm going to bed now because I'm fed up with this paperweight. I'll be back tomorrow and praying that there's a feasable solution that doesn't involve wiping my hard drive clean.

i see your problem. there are 3 things u could do: 1: if u still have a warranty on it return it. 2: call tech support they might me able to help you, or three send it in for repairs

Smart Card Help Need..Urgent

I'm using windows 2000 Professional..JDK1.5
and i'm using SLE4428 smartcards..n i have susccesfully managed to read write form it in jdk1.5
but i'm using only memory part of it...can u tell me how to use it's OS
..also tell me am i using write cards or SLE4428 is only memory card..
And i think it's not an OCF complient card ..so cant use it

Hi Raj,
Is your Sender System Tibco If so Use JMS Adapter to get the Data from tibco and Use IDOC Adapter to Post in R3. For this you no need to Install any Adapter in XI System.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only wipe your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
