Help Please - Oracle XML

We have an oracle table from which we need to create .XML output. We tried using the Oracle package to generate XML output and it worked out well. But the situation is like, required XML output tags have an unique format which is different from XML output generated using oracle packages. See the below sample XMl output generated using oracle package.
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<ROWSET>
<ROW>
<column_1>val</column_1>
<column_2>val</column_2>
<column_3>val</column_3>
But the required output format is
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<ROWSET>
<ROW>
<column_1>val</column_1><column_2>val</column_2> <column_3>val</column_3>

I am trying to acheive columns in one tag. We normally get Oracle xml output as
<col1>val<\col1><col2>val<\col2>..........
but i require

  • Please HELP PLEASE. oracle.jbo.RowCreateException: JBO-25017:

    Hi all,
    I've been trying to work out what I've done wrong but I can't seem to pin point the problem and I am desperate for help.
    I have created an web application whereby I can query results from per_all_people_f. I have also created an lov item to hold the person_id selected from the lov (which queries per_all_people_f)
    However, when I follow the tutorial on how to insert records into a table (I want to insert records into a table I created within Toad) I get the following errors:
    1. oracle.jbo.RowCreateException: JBO-25017: Error while creating a new entity row for UserEO. (I am still able to query the database with this error as it sits only on the header of the browser.)
    2. After I get the person_id from the lov and I try to click apply and I get the following error - oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.NullPointerException

    I'm assuming that when my AO calls the VO createrow() functions, it's supposed to pass it onto the EO create() functions but that link isn't made someway or another. I have attached the EO to my VO. Is there code in the VO.java that passes the createrow() function to the EO create() function?

    Hi,
    Are u sure that it is a java enabled database? The most common
    case of failure with the xmlgen package is because the loadjava
    command did not succeed.
    Please make sure that oraclexmlsqlload.bat file loaded all the
    java procedures successfully. If not then u would have to java-
    enable your database by running the initjvm script. (please see
    the docs).
    Thx

  • For Oracle XML Team:please help

    hi,
    I have been trying to run my java code using XSQLRequest from inside the stored procedure for past couple of days and i have had a couple of queries which were answered successfully.Thanks for that.
    But so far i have not been able to execute the code from inside the stored procedure which works fine if executed from commandline or thro a normal java application.
    It is always some problem or other and since there is no one except for this forum I end up submitting my queries in here.
    IS there any way i can get in touch with someone from ur side and may be figure out if i can do the way i 'm doing right now or i'm just wasting my time for nothing.I'm already done with the project schedule so i have to answer my PL.
    I have loaded the oraclexsql.jar file and the corresponding parserv2.jar and oraclexmlsql.jar file in my database.
    and i did load the XSQLConfig.xml file in the database file as well n which i'm using oracle:jdbc:thin:@10.0.0.70:1521:xdp as my <dburl>.
    now when i try to call the stored procedure i get the following error:
    Oracle XSQL Programmatic Page Processor 0.9.8.6 (Technology Preview)
    XSQL-007: Cannot acquire a database connection to process page.
    No suitable driver.
    I did find that inorder to make the database connection from inside the stored procedure we have to use jdbc.oracle.kprb driver

    Try using Oracle XML SQL Utility from
    inside the DB. XSQL is just calling that
    utility.

  • Load XML in intranet ? urgent help please...

    Dear friends, I need urgent help: I have a CAYIN screen (which lets me display evetns, etc) and gives me the option of loading/displaying a FLASH (SWF) file, well, I need this SWF to load some XML data ("texto.xml") but  seems that when the CAYIN program which executes flash, does not allow the SWF to find the XML in the same folder...
    Then I tried many ways to load the XML file with no success till now. Some tries are :
    obj_xml.load("\\192.168.0.100\media\texto.xml")
    obj_xml.load("\media\texto.xml")
    obj_xml.load("texto.xml")
    obj_xml.load("../media/texto.xml")
    obj_xml.load("\\media\texto.xml")
    obj_xml.load("file:\\192.168.0.100\media\texto.xml")
    obj_xml.load("..\\192.168.0.100\media\texto.xml")
    I guess I am writting something wrong or forgetting something. Would anyone please help me ? because these files are in an internal server "192.168.0.100" (intranet).
    Urgent help please, thanks in advance,

    if the swf is in a directory with subdirectory media which contains texto.xml, use:
    obj_xml.load("media/texto.xml")

  • Simple questions for Oracle XML Team - please respond

    1) Which class/methods should be used to obtain the content
    model (mixed-content or element-content) associated with each
    element declaration in a DTD? In other words, how do I know if a
    particular element can have child elements and/or data in a
    valid XML document, the frequency each child element can appear
    under a particular element, and whether a sequence list or a
    choice list was used to declare the element?

    Look at oracle.xml.parser.v2.ElementDecl class and then
    getContentType and getContentElements methods.

  • XML formating help Please

    Hi Everyone,
    I'm new to XML and hoping someone can help me. XML seems pretty straightforward, so I'm not sure why I can't get my head around this.
    Here's what I need.
    I'm building a webpage in Dreamweaver using Spry that will have a list of all 50 U.S. states. When you click on a state, it will populate a side area with 2 or 3 cities from that particular state along with a phone number for each city.
    Can anyone give me a small sample of how the formating would be for this?
    I'd really appreciate any help you can give.
    Thanks,
    Moon71

  • Need help, oracle xml db jar conflicts with sup app server v9

    I am trying to create a web service on sun app v9 that will work with calls to oracle xml db on oracle 10gr2. I have successfully created a web service on other application servers (weblogic and websphere) but sun was the app server of choice. The oracle jar xmlparserv2.jar is causing problems with the sun server as it seems to have bundled some java classes from the javax.xml.parsers, javax\xml\transform (and even from dom, sax and streams sub folders) packages.
    If I put the oracle jar in my war the error I get in the log file when accessing my webservice tester is:
    [#|2007-08-13T08:37:48.691-0400|INFO|sun-appserver-pe9.0|javax.enterprise.system.stream.out|_ThreadID=15;_ThreadName=httpWorkerThread-8080-0;|error: http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd<Line 31, Column 3>: XML-20100: (Fatal Error) Expected '>'.

    error: Expected '>'.
    line ? of http://ann-griffithlap.jsc-eses.com:8080/TestWS/TestWSService?WSDL#types?schema1|#]
    And the UI error from the tester call is:
    javax.servlet.ServletException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Service Class not generated as expected at com.sun.enterprise.webservice.monitoring.WebServiceTesterServlet.initializePort(WebServiceTesterServlet.java:546) at com.sun.enterprise.webservice.monitoring.WebServiceTesterServlet.doGet(WebServiceTesterServlet.java:158) at com.sun.enterprise.webservice.monitoring.WebServiceTesterServlet.invoke(WebServiceTesterServlet.java:104) at
    I had attempted to move the xmlparserv2.jar elsewhere in the classpath for classloading and one error I got while trying different spots was:
    [#|2007-07-16T14:16:57.982-0400|SEVERE|sun-appserver-pe9.0|javax.enterprise.system.tools.deployment|_ThreadID=10;_ThreadName=main;_RequestID=c9ffb261-2b6d-4dd2-bd8f-362e6b2af1a0;|INFO: JAXP SAXParser property not recognized: http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxp/properties/schemaLanguage|#]

    which gets repeated for each deployment and then the server would not start up.
    Is there any suggestions of where I can put the oracle jar to get sun to still start up as well as the jar to be available for use by the classes in my war that also contains the webservice that will call my underlying class? I have not found a way to eliminate the oracle jar if I want to do an xquery against oracle xml db.
    Thanks,
    D.Griffith

  • How to print Barcode data in Oracle XML Publisher Report

    Hi,
    We have an rdf report which prints Bar code in the starting page based on a custom procedure from MarkView. It works well with Oracle Reports.
    But since the current report was a matrix report, we are changing it to a Linear report through Oracle XML Publisher Report.
    We have all the things possible in the new Oracle XML Report.. But we are unable to print the Bar code data which is BLOB in the XML Report..
    Can anyone help me on this? We have UAT dates around the corner..
    We have an RTF Template .
