Help please putting panasonic hdc-hs200 in to pc mode

Hi,
I have a Panasonic HDC-HS200 that I have connected to my brand new Imac tonight to use with iMovie. I cannot fathom how to turn the camera in to PC mode. I have been through every menu and looked online and can find nothing. When I turn the camera on (connected to the Imac) the PC does nothing. It doesn't see the camera at all.
Am I being thick?!! I am using a lead that goes in to the Panasonics mini HDMI input. I would appreciate any help

Ti import into iMovie, you either need to use the USB cable that came with your camera, or you can remove a SDHC card and import from a USB card reader.
I do not have the same model Panasonic, but with mine, I go to Playback mode and iMovie recognizes it.

I have just bought a Panasonic HDC-HS200 camcorder and recorded some clips of the kids, transferred it to iMovie09, edited it and shared via iDVD, then burned a DVD - however when I play the DVD there are a small portion, on both right and left side missing - it fills up the TV screen, however something is missing - can anyone help

sounds like you messed up the settings somewhere along the line ... but as I noted, this is not an iMovie or iDVD forum so who the heck knows what setting it was and where to look to fix it? unfortunately I don't ... anyone got some iDVD / iMovie skills and want to help our poster?

Panasonic HDC-HS9 problems. PLEASE help!!

I've just bought a shinny new Panasonic HDC-HS9, to go with my brand new (bought today) Final Cut Studio 2 (Final Cut 6.0.1). I am trying to connect my camera to my Power PC G5 and haven't got a clue what format I need to set FCP6 to capture images etc...now wishing I'd stuck to my safe Firewire DV.

Just got Toast 9 and I can now at least play my AVCHD files!!! Though when I transfer them to FCP6 they seem a bit grainy. Can you recommend what's best to convert the files into and what settings I should have my FCP please?
My video files are shot in H.264/AVC 1920x1080, 25fps with Dolby Digital 5.1

Anybody own a Panasonic HDC-TM700? I need help.

Hi guys. I got the Panasonic HDC-TM700 and am having a problem with it. I recall a few people here have one and love it, so I’m hoping you could help. I read the instruction book and searched online but I cant seem to find anybody with my specific problem so I’m trying to find out if there is something wrong with it,
Basically Ive used it twice now, recording to the HDD at the 60p frame rate and everything else is on auto. The first time while i was recording for a while (about 20-30 mins) it popped up a message on the screen. I forget what the exact message said, but it was something about DATA Processing, and it took about 5 minutes for it to go away and then allowed me to record again. That was frustrating b/c I missed a lot of shots i needed. Then yesterday I put it on a tripod to record a 30 minute ceremony, i pressed record, confirmed it was recording and walked away. I didnt turn it off until the ceremony was over 30 minutes later (so i dont know if there was any messages). I connected the camera to my computer and pulled the files off from the camera HDD.
The first thing i noticed was instead of the ceremony being one 30 minute file, it was broken up into 3 files. When i played it back on my pc, the first file was 18 minutes, the second file is 5 minutes (and there is a 3 second gap in the video), the last file is only 3 minutes (with another 3 min gap) and then the last 5 minutes of the ceremony are missing.
I am very frustrated with this and don’t know why it’s happening. If you could offer any help or advice id really appreciate it. Thanks!

To allow for Mac users, hard drive and memory cameras break their video into 4Gig pieces
To properly assemble those pieces when editing, you copy the entire directory to your computer hard drive, not just the individual files from inside the camera directory

There is nothing wrong with your Dell, it will work fine with any MacbookPro. I have been using Dell displays for over 12 years with many different Mac models. I have two 21" Ultra Sharp displays working side by side to design a Keynote presentation right now.
The issue your having is with the way Keynote takes control of the video output to both displays, it sends the presentation signal to one and the presenter display to the other, this is set up in;
Keynote preferences > Presenter display.
If you want to show a wesite or another app on either display, use application switcher:
press the the command key on the keyboard, then the tab key; a row of applications will show what applications are running, choose which one you want to show. Use command > tab to return to Keynote.

Yes, that's exactly what happened. If you buy another drive, you could copy from your existing drive to the new and your files will be read/write. The new drive will have to be formatted as an HFS drive (that's the Mac's format). If you need to format it, you use Disk Utility which is in the Utilities folder on your Mac. Be careful with that -- it wipes out whatever is currently on the drive. Make sure you format the right drive.
I keep all my images on an external drive, too. In fact, I have two matching drives and sync them so I always have a backup.

It looks like that the installation process of one of the applications have caused some trouble. One of them may have changed or added kext files.
For that, the Window server crashed if you try to open a non Apple application like Firefox
Start the system in safe mode by holding the shift key on power on.
If save mode is reached, perform a permissions repair with the Disk Utility.
Don't bother about upcoming warnings like "could not repair file xy" as that occur cause you use the tool on a running system and opened files can not get touched by the tool.
After repair is done reboot system to normal and try to open Firefox.
If the problem persits, please report back here.

iphone is diabled- connect to iTunes because i forget passcode.
i cannot connect iTunes because it's always asking to enter passcode on iphone.
So, i cannot make restore my iphone 6+. And then, I cann't erase "device" in icloud.
My iphone is new. No icloud. didn't connect to itune backage.
That's why I try to connect iTunes but it need to enter passcode.

Did you retrieve it from the trash, or are you trying to open it while in the trash?
If it's become corrupted you'll need to reinstall the OS to be sure of repairing it properly. If you're on 10.6 that won't affect your accounts and data, but as you don't mention what OS you have we can't give specific advise on the install.

- You can only sync an iPod to one iTunes library/computer. You can however, manually manage music and videos among different libraries.

If all the synced media like music is in the iTunes library of the second computer it is very easy.

Unless you saved them somewhere you need to download and pay again. There is currently no way to just get them again. You can create your own ringtones
