HELP: Problem when compile cldc1.1 and midp2.0 in winxp

the error msg is
"missing com.sun.cldc.io.GeneralBase"
i check all the folder and cannot find this class, does it really necessary? why sun do miss it in the release?

Actually we are implementing chat application for Jabber( XMPP Protocol). And i am writing the connection code and stream reading code in seperate Thread only. But the problem is, for the first connction i am able to contact server but for subsequent connections the server not recognizing the session which was started using other thread. Thats because i wanted to open connection and streams only once per application startup and perform all operations in that session only.
Jabber is used for developing Google Talk also.

the classes used by the main class are not recognized. the compiler can't locate the children classes.
i've already set the path and classpath environment variables, but there's still something missing.
how should i organize my folders in order to be able to compile the main class successfully, please?

It would be good to have a precise problem description: the actual command used, folder structure and environment variable settings. Even if you have to construct a simple test case with a couple of classes that illustrates the problem.
In the absence of that some generic remarks:
The PATH variable typically points at all the folders that contain executable files that you use often. You can always access other executable files by specifying there full names.
The CLASSPATH variable is typically left unset.
When you use the java tools (like the javac compiler or the java runtime) you can specify the classpath that you want to use with -cp. This will override any CLASSPATH value. So in the simple case of two classes (Main and MyClass), you can put them in anywhere you like (for example C:\MyJavaStuff) and compile and run with:
{noformat}
C:\MyJavaStuff> javac -cp . *.java
C:\MyJavaStuff> java -cp . Main
{noformat}(Mind the dot after -cp))
By a "main" class I guess you mean a class with a static void main(String args[]) method, but I am suspicious of your "child" classes. Perhaps packages are involved. A precise description of the problem would help.

This makes no sense. You don't configure a listener nor a tnsnames.ora "in a database".   I hope this is just a language issue and not reflective of a fundamental misunderstanding of how tns works.

Package problem when compiling

I'm new to java. I'm using Win2000 and JDK1.3.1. I set the "c:\jdk1.3.1\bin" in the System's path. There are three java programs with their own package in the directory as follows:
"pack.java" - under "c:\jdk1.3.1\bin\test", it will call pack1 & pack2.
"pack1.java" - under "c:\jdk1.3.1\bin\test\sub1"
"pack2.java" - under "c:\jdk1.3.1\bin\test\sub2"
It's ok to compile "pack1.java" and "pack2.java" under their directory. But there is the compiling error for the "pack.java" under "c:\jdk1.3.1\bin\test", even though I've put the "import test.sub1.pack1;" and "import test.sub2.pack2;" in the code. The error were as follows:
- cannot resolve symbol
- symbol : class pack1
- location: package sub1
- import test.sub1.pack1;
- cannot resolve symbol
- symbol : class pack2
- location: package sub2
- import test.sub2.pack2;
I'm not sure what the problem is with the package and/or the import statement. Can any experts help me?

After adding the classpath "c:\jdk1.3.1\bin" to the System's setting, I can compile the "pack.java" under the "test" directory with the command "javac -classpath c:\jdk1.3.1\bin c:\jdk1.3.1\bin\test\pack.java". However, when I run "pack" with the command "java -classpath c:\jdk1.3.1\bin c:\jdk1.3.1\bin\test\pack", there is another error appears as follows, although the "pack.class" has been already there:
- "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: c:\jdk1/3/1\bin\test\pack"
My "pack.java" code is below:

Error message when compiling invalid packages and procedures

Hi.
I have a routine for copying certain data from a production database to a test database. To do this I disable constraints and triggers, truncate tables, copy tables and enable triggers and constraints again.
Now several of my functions, procedures and packages are made invalid and marked with a red cross. In SQL Developer I can compile invalid functions, procedures and packages. When I compile functions it works fine, but when compiling procedures and packages I get the following error message:
An error was encountered performing the requested operation:
ORA-00904: "ATTRIBUTE": Invalid identifier
Vendor code 904
When I click OK on this message I get a confirmation saying:
Packages have been compiled with #0.CNT# errors.
I had this error in both the previous and the new version. Is this a bug or is there a way to come around it? When I copy and modify the SQL generated to perform this task and run it in SQL Plus it works fine.
I use Windows 2000 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4, SQL Developer version 1.2.1, Oracle 9.2.0.8.0 and Java version 1.5.0_11

i have now upgraded to Java 1.6 update 2. I still get basically the same error, but it is presented a little bit differently:

Are there other possible error causes than the operating system version and the database version?
We are going to install an Oracle 10 test database in a couple of weeks, so then I will find out whether the database version is the problem.

Problem when combinning PWM signal and Analog signal TOGETHER!

Hello everybody,
first of all i have DAQmx 6212, and i need to run a small water pump (9V-16V) which needs to be driven by a PWM signal; also i have a motor (5V-13V) for a water valve that needs to be driven by a analog signal and it has a built in a force feedback potentiometer, i connected on the extremeties of this potentiometer +5V from the DAQmx and used the output voltage from the third extremety as a diagnose value for knowing the position of the motor.
my VI shows:
1. is a normal Counter output to create my PWMout signal.
2. is an analog input i use it as a PWMin to the LabVIEW to diagnose what is happenning in my water pump through the duty cycle and the frequency.
3. is an analog input from the third extremety of the potentiometer.
4. is an analog output which i have used as a power supply for the motor valve and i have used an AC/DC amplifier to aplify the signal from the DAQmx and drive the motor, between (3. and 4.) i have made a feedback with some calculations i had a P-controller to know the actual position of the motor valve.
My Problem:
when putting 1. and 2. in the same VI alone, i am getting a clean PWM in/out with no problems mentioned;
also when putting 3. and 4. in the same VI alone i can control the motor valve without any problems;
but when i put all these 4 together as found in the attached VI, i have a problem that the motor valve is running continously without stopping even if i change the valve position between 0 and 100 %, i should mention that i am seeing a normal PWM out/in signal on my oscilloscope, one other thing that if i delete one of (1. or 2.) and run the VI the motor valve is working fine without any problems.
so this my problem, if you can think of any solution please let me know.

i have ran the vi again and i am have error no 50103 from the (AI, number 3. ) but it is not displaying the error message, the VI keeps running without any error notification.
adding to that, i have tested the VI again today by placing (1. and 2.for the PWM inout) together in one VI and (3. and 4.for the motor valve) in another VI and ran them one after the other, i had another problem. if i turn the motor valve vi, the motor will run smoothly but in the pwm vi i will have a problem in which the AI did not read any value. also doing this vice versa by running the pwm vi first it will work perfect but the motor vi will have problem in reading the measured voltage in AI during this the motor will keep on running without stopping.
so i think now the problem is in AI (2. and 3.) readings they are interfering on each other but i am not discovering where is my problem...
Q: does the AI's seems well build or i can do it in an another way so to get over the interfering?

I got a problem when I update unicode form :(
so, I have already tested my web application (Struts-ibatis-velocity-tiles) on my PC (tomcat 5.5.12, mysql 4.1 - utf8 default, JDK 5.0), everything was okie. I could update 1 unicode form (the form which contains unicode characters - firstname, lastname). I use 1 filter for output and input, below is my web.xml:

You need to install the bc package. Apparently the script uses bc to calculate some integer values.

I wanted to have a look at alchemy, so I installed cygwin and configured alchemy. However, I'm a little bit stucked... I did the steps in the tutorial but when compiling I got errors (note, I use g++ instead of gcc):

So I tried different things like removing the symbolic links, then relinked them, copied alchemy again, reinstalled cygwin, installed cygwin onto another drive, copied flexsdk to c/flexsdk, but nothing of this did the job.
Did anyone else had same errors?
I'm running a german Windows 7 x86_64 version here.
My business partner got it to work on his machine, but he also doesn't know why it's not working on mine.
Can someone help?

This is an "invalid handle" error.
The first thing to do is run your cygwin session as administrator. If that doesn't fix it, I would check the file permissions on the drive.
If the setup doesn't work properly (i.e. the symlinks don't get created properly), I don't think you even get this far, but that's something to check as well. If your colleague has it working, you can compare your installs.

Problem when using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT and passing in lexical parameter

I got a blank page with error "An error has occured while trying to use this document" when I tried to use web.show_document and passing a lexical parameter to 10g report on 10gAS. The URL in the web.show_document is:

If I change the desformat to htmlcss, it is fine to display the report. But doesn't work with desformat=pdf. The pdf file has been generated in the cache. Why can't it display on the screen.
Also I tried to use double quote the value for where_clause. The pdf report showed up. But it ignored the where clause.

Problem when calling the RFC and IDoc adapter at the same time

Hi,
I'm having a major slowdown problem with XI3.0 SP11.
When I'm sending a message(IDoc) from R/3 into XI to get translated into an EDI document, I have no problems and it's very fast. RFC calls are very fast too.
Now, if I'm sending the same message and at the same time another call is done trough the RFC adapter, then the full XI environment hangs for several minutes.
I did all recommended settings from the XI-SR1 install guide(Configuring the J2EE Engine) and tuning guide (XI Configuration Parameters)
and I don't know what to do more? At the Unix level, command TOP shows that dw.sap.XDV_DVEBMGS70 is taking all the CPU% available when both messages(IDoc and RFC) are sent to XI at the same time.
Anybody have an idea what to do next?

Did you check the dev_rfc logs ? Also check SM21 for any errors. Logon to the Target System and check SM50 transaction then you will know whats going on.

Error when Compiling package header and body - how change pkb file associat

Hi everyone,
it has already been noticed elsewhere (in the thread "Compiling package header and body" of Jan 12, 2010) that the compilation of package scripts sometimes fails (apparently because of a sqldeveloper bug) when the script contains the terminating slash /.
Is this bug still open?
Next question: In the above mentioned thread it is recommended as workaround to change the corresponding file type association from pl/sql to sql. I would like to do that; I know the place in the preferences dialog, but most of the associations there seem to be hard coded and cannot be changed.
I would appreciate any ideas!

For the workaround: you'd have to change the file's extension, not the association (to e.g. .sql).
