Help Required in java mapping using XI

Does any body worked on java Mapping in XI
where do u find the com.sap.aii.*;
thank's in advance
swamy

Hi,
To access the mapping API, you must include the Jar file aii_map_api.jar in your class path. The Jar file is located in the following directory:
<SAP_install_dir>/<system_name>/<instance_name>/j2ee/cluster/server<number>/apps/sap.com/com.sap.xi.services/
To include the three J2EE standard libraries in the class path of the NetWeaver Developer Workplace, call the Set Additional Libraries... function in your Eclipse project by calling the context menu and selecting the libraries
com.sap.tc.Logging,
com.sap.mw.jco
sapxmltoolkit.
Hope this solves your problem.

Siva Maranani.

  • JAVA mapping using SAX parser adds extra tags

    Hi,
      We are using  java mapping using a SAX parser.It works well in standalone application ie it parses correctly and gets our desired xml structure and the xml is well formed too but when we import it in XI as a jar file it does not throw any errors but adds extra start tags, as a result the output xml is not well formed.XI is adding extra start tags.
    If any one else has faced a similar situation please help.
    Regards,
    Anirban.

    Hi Roberto,
    Thank you for the response.
    As I said, it doesnt throw any error. It is working perfectly in standalone application. But when we deploy it to XI Server, it is not forming the well formed XML. We too are puzzled by this situation.
    Okay, i will explain my scenario here.
    The following is my input XML to the java pgm..
    <Header>
    </Header>
    <Body>
    </Body>
    <SubBody1>
    </SubBody1>
    <SubBody2>
    </SubBody2>
    <SubBody3>
    </SubBody3>
    <SubBody4>
    </SubBody4>
    <Trail>
    </Trail>
    The desired output is
    <Header>
      <Body>
         <NameChanged1>
            <NameChanged2>
    <SubBody3>
    <SubBody4>
    </SubBody4>
    </SubBody3>
    </NameChanged2>
    </NameChanged1>
    <Trail>
    </Trail>
    Just look at the SubBody2 and SubBody1 node, its tag name has been changed in the output XML. Thats y i have decided to use java mapping instead of message mapping.
    I have developed the code for everything, i.e for changing the tag name and for forming the nested xml and it is working fine as a standalone application. But while deploying it to XI, the output is not well formed. I dont know the reason for it. Even I have checked the cardinality of the output Data types, that I have created. Its perfectly okay with all.
    Any Ideas???

    Hi,
    Dom will be quite expensive for this type of requirement since you will have to go to each element and then append the namespace.
    I suggest you use SAX parser which is more  efficient for such requirement.
    The code is given below you can modify it according to your requirement.

  • Java Mapping Using DOM Parser.

    Hi Experts,
    I am new to Java mapping and i have followed the link
    http://scn.sap.com/thread/3173071 and it is working fine. It is for only one item. I have tried to modify the code and i placed a for loop to go create the Output Node based on the No of Input Nodes and it is giving the error as below. But my requirement is
    Input.xml : -

  • Java Mapping Using JAXB [Java Arch for XML Binding]

    Hi All,
    Anyone tried using JAXB  [Java Architecture for XML Binding API available with Java WebServices Pack] technique for XML processing in Java Mapping??
    I am facing the following problems..
    1. I am not able to generate namespace while marshalling target XML [In standalone mode and not tried in XI].
    2. What are the jar files we need to import?
       I tried importing the following jar files in XI.
    jaxb-api.jar,jaxb-impl.jar,jaxb-libs.jar,jax-qname.jar,namespace.jar,relaxngDatatype.jar
      and getting some errors while importing these files in XI.
    3. It throws error at runtime [Interface Mapping-Test Tab]
       like Resource not found:javax/xml/bind/Messages_en.properties,javax/xml/bind/Messages_en_US.properties
    4. Even after creating a copy of available file Messages.Properties with name: Messages_en.properties and Messages_en_US.properties.. it is not generating any messages in Target message tab
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ananth Chinnaraj

    Sravya ,
    I have searched wide and far for this, but no success.
    A lot on JAXB XI and Webdynpro, but nothing on JAXB, XI and mappings.
    Could you please post the url here ?
    Thanks and kind regards,

  • Java Mapping - using Eclipse as IDE.

    Hello,
    We need to write a complex java mapping. We are currently planning to use Eclipse IDE for developing the mapping class. (we dont have the NW studio unfortunaltey). The user defined function option in the IR will not suffice.
    My question is - where do we get the com.sap.** libraries from - so that we can import those packages in our mapping code?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
      The necessary Jar files are downloaded & available in your PC when you use Integration Builder tools.
    Normally Java webstart caches these files in your local directory.
    You can find Java mapping related Jars in the following directory :
    C:Documents and Settings%USER%Application DataSunJavaDeploymentjavawscachehttp%HOST%P50000DMrepDMrepository
    Goto the directory, search for files like *aii_map_api.jar
    It will give you list of Jar files like RMaii_map_api.jar , just rename it as aii_map_api.jar and use it in Eclipse or NWDS.
    Note: While searching for Jar files take only Jar files with ~30KB size from the search results.
    regards,
    Ananth

  • XI java mapping using SAX

    Hi,
    im using java mapping for complex IDOC structure. If I run program localy, it works great, but when XI runs mapping, I have problems with xml file, some elements are not there ?! I don't know why it happens.....i said that i'm using complex logic, and therefore I'm using complex IF statments to produce segment in IDOC. I have noticed that there is a problem, because when I switch off IF, everything is fine???? any idea??
    thx mario

    Hi,
    Do you have nested 'if' statements?  Is it possible you could be experiencing a "dangling else" problem?

  • An necessaries requirement of Java for using Khmer Unicode

    Hi Java Architecture or Engineering,
    May you describe me about any specific requirement that Java 1.6 can support Khmer Unicode?
    My Simulation problem:
    Recently, newgenlib (Open source Library) have been launch new version what can support Khmer Unicode.
    But after do the update as their letter, I found that some Clients recognize Khmer Unicode "ធនធានធម្មជាតិ"but some does not recognize and show "⌷⌷⌷⌷⌷⌷⌷⌷⌷⌷⌷⌷".
    Moreover, I have been deleted Arial Unicode MS font.
    And also paste Fontconfig.properties to JAVA_PATH\jre6\lib.
    => How can I solve this issue???

    There's nothing Firefox can do about that. You need to contact Command Center.
    Using old, possibly insecure, programs is never a good idea.

  • Help required: Cannot open pdf using Jasper Report in Weblogic workshop 9.2

    This message was accepted by the [email protected] mailing list. Hi ,
    I am new to jasper reports and I am using them in Java Page Flow in bea workshop 9.2
    In one of my action methods
    ServletOutputStream servletOutputStream = getResponse().getOutputStream();
    InputStream reportStream = getServlet().getServletConfig().getServletContext().getResourceAsStream("/classic.jasper");
    JasperRunManager.runReportToPdfStream(reportStream, servletOutputStream, new HashMap() ,connection);
    getResponse().setContentType("application/pdf");
    servletOutputStream.flush();
    servletOutputStream.close();
    connection.close();
    When I invoke this action method from another page on click of submit , the pdf file opens fine for the first time( first submit) , and then if I click on submit again, it fails to open the pdf with the error message ,
    There was an error opening this document . This file cannot be found.
    Please help me resolve the issue, its urgent.
    Thanx in advance

    Thanks for the reply David. The problem we're having is that when you are in Workshop, there is the option, under the "File" menu to "Refresh" (F5) You sometimes need to do this to refresh your workspace. I'm sorry, I'm not a developer, so I don't know the details behind what that actually does, other than it "refreshes the workspace" so we can pick up the changes made and checked into subversion.
    Without performing this step, you don't always build from the latest and greatest code.
    The problem we're facing is that it seems that you need to be in Workshop to perform this step. There is a scripted way to do the refresh, but it requires you to open Workshop and run the script. What we're trying to accomplish is a truly scripted solution. All the other steps in the build process can be performed without opening Workshop, but because we can't figure out a way to do this one piece, we cannot have an automated build process.

  • I need some help with my java game using applets, CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP

    Hi,
    I am in the process of creating a RPG program using Java. I am not very experienced with java, however the problem i am currently facing is something i can't seem to figure out. I would like to draw a simple grid where a character (indicated by a filled circle) moves around this grid collecting items (indicated by a red rectangle). When the character moves on top of the grid with the item, i would like it to disappear. Right now i am not worrying about the fact that the item will reappear after the character moves away again, because sometimes, when the character moves over the item, nothing happens/another item disappears. i have been at this for 4 days and still cannot figure out what is goign on. can somebody please help me? it would be most appreciated.
    Thanks
    PS if i needed to send you my code, how do i do it?

    Thank you for replying.
    The thing is, I am taking java as a course, and it is necessary for me to start off this way (this is for my summative evaluation). i agree with you on the fact, however, that i should go in small steps. i have been doing that until this point, and my frustration caused me to jump around randomly for an answer. I also think that it may just be a bug, but i have no clue as to how to fix it, as i need to show my teacher at least a part of what i was doing by sometime next week. • Help Required for XSLT mapping

    Hi Folks,
    I am working on a scenario, where we had 17 different one to one mapping with same source strcture but different target structures. Source is a Idoc common for everyone.
    Sample Target Structure :
    Message Type(XYZ)
                     RECORDS(0,u)
                                             A(0,1)
                                             B(0,1)
                                             C(0,1)
                                             D(0,1)
    As per our requirement we need the output in which we need to have "GLOBE " at the top and the value of A, B, C and D on single row for each ouurance of RECORD. For 2nd occurance we need to change the line and 2 nd set of ABCD on 2nd row and so on. e.g.
    GLOBE
    0002044452KNA1 0000027079 0001E
    0002044452KNA1 0000027080 0001E
    0002044452KNA1 0000027080 0001E
    To acheive the above output we are using a XSLT map after Message Mapping
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
    <xsl:output method="text" indent="no" encoding="UTF-8" omit-xml-declaration="yes"/>
    <xsl:preserve-space elements="*"/>
    <xsl:template match="/">GLOBE<xsl:text>&#xD;&#xA;</xsl:text>
    <xsl:for-each select="//RECORDS">
      <xsl:for-each select="*">
         <xsl:value-of select="current()"/>
      </xsl:for-each><xsl:text>&#xD;&#xA;</xsl:text></xsl:for-each>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    NOW WE HAVE changed the 17 one to one maps to one multi mapping (1:17) as our source is same.
    Now as the output of this multi mapping is getting into XSL code, it is not able to parse it.
    How can we do the changes in this particular code So that we can Achieve:                     17 different file out of single multi mapping and XSL map like it was comming previously from 17 different maps.
    Thanks
    Pradeep

    Hi Pradeep,
    Depending on how you setup your multi mapping, when you execute you will end up with something like this as the xml output:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
      <ns0:Message1>
        <XYZ></XYZ>
        <XYZ></XYZ>
      </ns0:Message1>
    </ns0:Messages>
    Or this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
      <ns0:Message1>
        <XYZ></XYZ>
      </ns0:Message1>
      <ns0:Message2>
        <XYZ></XYZ>
      </ns0:Message2>
    </ns0:Messages>
    The single xml message with the u201CMessagesu201D wrapper is not split into separate messages until it hits one of the adapters in the adapter engine.  Perhaps you can try to adjust the xslt to expect this as input, but the output would still need to be <ns0:Messages>.  That might be what is causing the failure with your current xslt.  Can the flat file conversion in the file adapter?
    Thanks,
    -Russ

  • Help required in Idoc mapping!!

    Hi,
    I have an idoc to file scenario:
    Idoc looks like this
    Idoc
    Header
    E1BPE1WLMV (0.....999)
         field1
    E1BPE1MALG (0.....999)
          field2
    Target
    Details
         field3
    My requirement is that :
    field 3 should b mapped to only the first occurence of field1. (and not the subsequent occurences).
         Please suggest how can i proceed ?

    Thanks guys...but I have got some more inputs for my requirement now:
    Source:
    Idoc
    Header
    E1BPE1WLMV (0.....999)
    field1
    E1BPE1MALG (0.....999)
    field2
    Target:
    Details
    field3 (= field1)
    field4 (=field2)
    The Details should be created for unique combination of field1 and field 2. For e.g.
    Field 1 comes 2,3,4
    Field 2 comes 1,5
    Then detail should be created 6 times for
    field1= 2 & field2= 1
    field1= 2 & field2= 5
    field1= 3 & field2= 1
    field1= 3 & field2= 5
    field1= 4 & field2= 1
    field1= 4 & field2= 5
    Could you please help ?

  • Help required on java.lang.StackOverFlowError and static initializer

    I wanted to create an instance of a class that contains another instance of the same class. So I wrote:
    class A {
         A z = new A ();
         void display () {
              System.out.println ("Hello World");
         public static void main (String [] args) {
              A y = new A();
              y.display ();
    }During execution I got java.lang.StackOverFlowError. But if I put a static initializer, it works fine. Here is the code using static initializer.
    class A {
         static{
              A z = new A ();
         void display () {
              System.out.println ("Hello World");
         public static void main (String [] args) {
              A y = new A();
              y.display ();
    }Could anyone please help me to understand the logic why "java.lang.StackOverFlowError" is happening here and how the same program runs fine by putting a static initializer ?
    Regards,
    Shambhu

    Could anyone please help me to understand the logic
    why "java.lang.StackOverFlowError" is happening hereWhen you instantiate an A object with A y = new A () then A z = new A () also gets executed inside the A class, which in it's turn executes A z = new A () again, and again, and again...
    and how the same program runs fine by putting a
    static initializer ?Because the static block gets executed only once.
    The use of class- and instance variables is explained in more detail here:

  • Help required in Java Script

    As far as I know the variables that are used inside java script program are declared using var keyword.
    Suppose I assign in the following manner,
    var str="Hello";
    Is there any way I can using the String functions that java.lang supports . I want to do validaition at the client side. Therefore I assume there is no mandatory requirement , that the client has anything java on his system.

    Javascript already supports many of the java.lang functions, eg, substring(start, stop), length, splice, split, etc.
    Just remember your using Javascript so there may be variations with methods and signatures.
    Have a look at either Netscapes or Microsofts Javascript reference.
