Help to create a pkgbuild for harpia

hi i want to create a pkgbuild for the harpia program http://s2i.das.ufsc.br/harpia/en/home.html
searching in the aur and in the net i couldn't find something
harpia exist for ubuntu and the .deb file is hosted here http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/all/harpia
can someone help me create a working pkgbuild for arch through the .deb file
i tried to create a first approach by creating the following PKGBUILD:
pkgname=harpia
pkgver=1.1
pkgrel=1
pkgdesc="Image Processing/Computer Vision Automatic Prgm. Tool"
arch=('any')
url="http://s2i.das.ufsc.br/harpia/en/home.html"
license=('GPL2')
depends=('')
source=("http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/h/harpia/${pkgname}_${pkgver}-0ubuntu1.1_all.deb")
md5sums=('56c6cb146ea5652e41b77506ad8ec263')
build() {
bsdtar -C "$pkgdir" -xvf data.tar.gz
however when i am running the program i am taking the following error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/harpia", line 32, in <module>
from harpia import harpiagcfrontend
ImportError: No module named harpia
i guess that the problem might have to do with some dependencies or with the python library, can you provide me with some tips
thanks

Well, I'm not going to tell you every little thing .
I found a likely candidate for python-gnome2 in pacman using a judicious choice of search terms. As for the rest, I suggest you go to the Debian or Ubuntu package lists. The Debian ones are easy to find in Google. These lists contain lots of information about what packages contain and what they provide and where the source code is from.
Do some detective work, you will figure it out.

  • Help to create a monitor for specific non-windows ID generated by script

    Hello all,
    Do you know how to create a monitor for specific event ID (4,5,6,7 & 8) in SCOM (with alerts) I know how to create a monitor but not how to create it for specific servers. I would like to copy those monitors in the Management Pack that I override (because
    the original was locked).
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
    you can create new DISABLED monitor in new management pack.
    After that you will enable this monitor for specific servers using overrides.

  • Need help to create a login for maintenance of a single database in a multiple databases, single instance environment

    Hi,
    We are in the process of consolidating several databases on a single instance of SQL Server 2012.
    Databases are developed by outside vendors; they have to be able to install and support their databases but they shouldn't be able to do any thing with the other databases.
    When I tried to migrate the first database, the vendor told me that on the former server he used the sa account in some batch.
    On a previous thread
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/dc1f802f-d8de-4e2b-87e5-ccb289593fb7/security-for-multiple-applications-on-a-single-sql-server-2012-instance?forum=sqlsecurity
    it was suggested to me that I create a login for each vendor and that this login should map a user in their respective databases.
    To test, I simulated the process in a test database:
    1 - I create the login and I scripted the command:
    USE [master]
    GO
    /* For security reasons the login is created disabled and with a random password. */
    /****** Object:  Login [M02_Test]    Script Date: 2014-12-02 16:23:58 ******/
    CREATE LOGIN [M02_Test] WITH PASSWORD=N'ÈS^y¡¶=Å€"+y¤j|úªhÖféÎЕœEu
    c', DEFAULT_DATABASE=[M02], DEFAULT_LANGUAGE=[us_english], CHECK_EXPIRATION=OFF, CHECK_POLICY=OFF
    GO
    ALTER LOGIN [M02_Test] DISABLE
    GO
    2 - I create the user and scripted it
    USE [M02]
    GO
    /****** Object:  User [M02_Test]    Script Date: 2014-12-02 16:29:41 ******/
    CREATE USER [M02_Test] FOR LOGIN [M02_Test] WITH DEFAULT_SCHEMA=[dbo]
    GO
    Questions:
    What should we do with te scrambled password: is it saved as it was entered and should it be kept somewhere in a safe place?
    Would that do the job for the vendor who used sa before?
    Thanks for your advice

    I'm not sure why you would save the script. Why not create the login, in one way or another give the vendor the password. Keep the login disabled until needed.
    I don't recall exactly what we said last time, but it occurs to me that the application setup things on server level. Jobs is the prime thing that comes to mind, but there could be other things.
    Now, here is an important observation. As long as the vendor's application was alone on the server, that was OK, and it was OK to give the vendor sysadmin rights. In this situation this is less OK, and as we said, you should only give the vendor db_owner
    in the database.
    But the vendor will need to tell you what they do on server-level. They should know this - unless they sell their app as a "alone-on-a-server application". (And there are indeed such applications out there, even from Microsoft.) But there is a
    risk that they will bill you extra if you make their installation more difficult.
    Maybe you will have to give some vendors sysadmin for the installation, but in such case, you should ask them why they need it. If they don't, give them db_owner, and they will have to find out their hard way. (And you don't pay them for learning
    their own application.)

  • Need Help To Create a Subpicture For Menu Buttons

    I've looked online, and Adobe and other sources say to create a custom subpicture (as in an animation to highlight my buttons not provided by default) and they all say the same thing: Open the menu in Photoshop, select the button folder and create the new layer in each named (=1) and making a shape.
    The only problem is, Photoshop doesn't allow me to open layers up as it wants me to simplify them, as it claims they are "not compatible". I'm still a bit of a newbie with Photoshop, but I am pretty sure I've done everything as instructed and I am genuinely at a loss as to what to do now...
    Any help would be appreciated! Why oh why can't Encore be more intuitive...

    I am not sure what you are doing. Opening a layer should not be a problem.
    So let's get on the same page...
    Open Encore, create a new test project for a DVD, add a menu. Doesn't matter which one.
    Right click on the menu you added, and pick "edit menu in photoshop." You can "open the menu" in photoshop (outside Encore), but it will be simpler in the long run to edit from Encore.
    You will see the button groups with a + symbol in front. And a triangle (showing a closed button group) to the left. Click that triangle, and you should see the layers in the group. Does that work?
    Now try what you were doing before, but in this menu. Does it work or ...?

  • Help Needed Created Standalone Network for iTunes DJ

    I use my MBP to manage backing tracks for a band. I would like to use iTunes DJ for requests from the audience via wireless connection via *iPhone/iPod Touch Remote app*. I would use this option in conjunction with a printed song list and small request cards (for those who don't have iPhones).
    I can't connect to an existing network as most venues do not have wireless. I would like to set up my MBP as a wireless base station that can be accessed via an iPhone/iPod Remote app. Besides, I would prefer to have a network that echo's the band's name.
    I know I have to use the "*Create computer-to-computer Networks*", but I am unsure of what settings I need to get the network working.
    I will use Locations to quickly activate the MBP as the base station.
    Any help or suggestion setting up my MBP as a wireless base station would be greatly appreciated.
    TIA

    Agreed. I'd keep at it yourself. I guarantee it will be something simple.
    what are the benefits of a switcher? (never used one before) any recomends?
    A switch is just like a hub, except that instead of always sending packets to your entire network, it only sends them where they need to go. The benefits grow with the size and speed of your network. Switches used to be much more expensive than hubs but not any more. Normally I'd recommend almost any Linksys device, but in this case dlink seems to have a better one:
    http://www.amazon.com/D-Link-DGS-2205-5-port-Desktop-Switch/dp/B000FIVDIA
    Again, I don't think your dlink hub is responsible for this dramatic bottleneck though.

  • Help with creating multiple events for a single button

    I have a basic gui that is used to view a query. There is a JTextArea where the infromation from the query displays. Now i also have JTextAFields that correspond to each column from the table that i am querying from. I have an edit button that will take the current query (which i have a reference to) and put in each JTextField the correct information (it re exectutes the query given the id of the current result in the query, and sets the text in each field).
    All this works fine.. Now the text fields have been filled in, and the user can change them accordingly. I set the text of the edit button to say update, and i add an action listener within the current listener for that button.. When the update button is pressed, everything is fine.. However, after that, the listener has changed and i get exceptions everytime i press edit.. Below i have made it so that i create a new action when the edit button (named update that after they press it, it then displays update.. and the insert button changes to insert.. now an insert query is different than an update so i can't just enable only insert or anything like that).

    I don't think there are any specific parameters needed for SFTP (but in case u are reading file name in AM then u might have to adjust SFTP namespace)

  • Please help me create the indexes for this XML

    Hi Mark and others,
    What is the way to create the correct index for this kind of XML (I posted earlier)? I created the indexes without using those prefixes without any problems but they do not seem to be used during processing. For 300 statutes, it took about 10 minutes! For the smplier verion, I created indexes and it took no more than 30 seconds to process more than 4000 statutes.

    Hi Mark, here is the schema. I did not register the schema, because when I processed the simpler version, I did not either and I just created the indexes. I did not create an VARRAY in the table. The DDL is simply create table CStatute_XML(id number, xmldoc xmltype).

  • Need help with creating a formula for percentages

    I am creating a fillable form for subcontractors to submit change requests. One of the sections on the form is for materials. Most subs will charge a markup which is a small percentage of the actual cost. Obviously, both amounts are variables. I want the subs to be able to enter the material cost in field 1, the markup percentage in field two, and then have field three calculate the dollar amount for them. Is this possible? Btw, I'm clueless on this, it's my first attempt at an adobe form. Thanks!!!

    A more standard way is to use something like the following as the third field's custom Calculate script:
    // Custom calculate script
    (function () {
        // Get the field values, as numbers
        var v1 = +getField("price").value;
        var v2 = +getField("markup_percentage").value;
        // Calculate the value of this field
        event.value = v1 * (1 + v2 / 100);
    This is assuming that a percentage of 20% is entered by the user as 20, as opposed to 0.2 or something else. Change the field values to match the actual fields in your form.
    If the markup field is blank or zero, the total will simply be the same as the price value.

    I'm afraid I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish here. What is "command is successfully executed" intended to represent in your CREATE statement and in the anonymous PL/SQL block.
    What do you mean "it should occur in row by row order" and "success message of execution should be displayed in the log file"?
    Why are you trying to log to an external file rather than a table in the database? When you start talking about "row by row" and "success message", that starts to imply that you're going to be logging a lot of stuff. Logging a lot of data to an external file is going to be a substantial performance burden. Are you sure that is what you want to accomplish?

  • Interest in helping get a NetDirector PKGBUILD for Archlinux?

    Hi,
    I am the project lead for NetDirector, a free and open source (right now we use a modified MPL with attribution - we're moving either to GPLv3 or CPAL) system admiistration tool primarily for servers - www.netdirector.org
    NetDirector is focused on managing at the service level - so, it provides robust (one-to-many changes, change scheduling, rollback, etc) and secure (strict role-based authorization and authentication, system communication encrypted in ssl,...) management for many of the most popular Linux server apps like Apache, Samba, DHCP, BIND, Sendmail, FTP, LDAP.  We have a modular architecture, so additional services can be snapped in to NetDirector as plugins.  Things others have expressed interest in are a plugin for Asterisk, ClamAV, Snort, quotas, MySQL and so on.  Also, we have a plugin to Red Hat Network that extends NetDirector's role-based access control, one-to-many actions, scheduling and rollback to patching and provisioning done with RHN.  Something like this to Pacman would be cool!!
    I got turned on to Archlinux by a user.
    I would love to see if anyone out here would like to help us get NetDirector packaged up and available through the Archlinux content repos.
    Also, there are a variety of other things we could use some developer help on, too.  If you want to get involved and know Java, please let me know.
    Thanks in advance!
    Greg

    Hi guys,
    thanks for rolling up your sleeves on this.
    to get a sense of the NetDirector architecture, check out this page:  http://www.netdirector.org/index.php?op … &Itemid=49
    I hope it will help in terms of understanding the build process.  Since NetDirector is a client/server tool, you need one server manager and one server agent installed on each server that you use netdirector to manage.  Server Manager is by far the more complicated of the two pieces.  Written in Java, it contains a database (mysql or postgresql), tomcat, the netdirector change management engine, the agent listener and more.  The Server Agent is simple by contrast - written in Python, we designed the Agents to be pretty dumb so as not to gobble up toomany resources.
    I've asked my more technical partner to also reply to this forum in order to give you guys guidance
    Blind and Tardo - do you thihnk we should see how we make out here before I put this request to the mailing list?
    Thanks

  • RethinkDB - how to create a PKGBUILD for this monster?

    Hi!
    After an interesting discussion on HackerNews about RethinkBD, I wanted to take a look for myself. Using it in Ubuntu (my work system) wasn't that bad, they build package for that one, and looked like something I might like to play with. But for that I'd wanted to have a package for my personal system running Arch, and there don't seem to be one.
    I did have a big bunch of packages before (not saying that they were any good, but have seen enough to know what might be relatively easy and what will be hard). When I checked out the build information, it just looks terrifying. The big list of dependencies is not that bad, but the other requires are nodejs, node libraries, ruby libraries, some of them are on AUR but orphaned and cannot be really relied on....
    Any suggestion how to get the bottom of this?

    Trilby wrote:Strictly speaking, your PKGBUILD only has to list the dependencies.  If the dependencies are broken, your PKGBUILD doesn't need to solve that.
    Thinking about it, I see your point, while I still feel that it's not the complete picture. That way I can make a package for myself, and using nvm/rvm for the missing packages, but e.g. then I couldn't really upload it to AUR or if I was, definitely someone would remove it because of being broken (and would be right about it.

    Of course it would be pointless to have a PKGBUILD that depended on something broken, but you should push those maintainers to fix their PKGBUILDs.
    Have you checked that those dependencies can't be satisfied by packages in the repos?  Nodejs, for example, is in [community] and rubygems is provided by ruby in [extra].  In fact, I don't see anything there that would not likely be provided by something in the main repos.
    EDIT: upon looking closer ruby_protobuf and coffee-script-git are aur-only, do those fail to build from the aur?
    Looking at things, they might need older nodejs version, coffee-script and their dependencies are in AUR, ruby_protobuf and ruby-less (and their dependencies) seem to be orphaned packages on AUR....
