HELP - Trouble inserting
Why does dreamweaver close when trying to insert items such as images, swf etc.
When i try to insert things such as images or swf files in dreamweaver cs6, the program just closes. I go insert > image (click on it) and it just closes. No crash information etc (windows 7).
I tried reopening dreamweaver and trying to insert image, but closes again.
I tried restarting the computer and opeing dreamweaver to insert image, but closes.
Any suggestions?

Trouble inserting Flash in CS5.5
I just upgraded to CS5.5 and am having trouble inserting a Flash file into Dreamweaver. When I used CS4, I would open the html file that Flash created in the Publish process. I would copy and paste the top part of that file -- the <script> info into the header of my dreamweaver code. Then in the location where I wanted the Flash file to be I would paste the code from the Flash html that started with <!--url's used in the movie--> and ended with </noscript>.
However, the files I just created in Flash using all the same Publish settings as I used previously (I think!) look completely different. There is nothing like either of these sections that I previously used to insert the Flash code into Dreamweaver. Here is a comparison of the 2 Flash html files so you can see what I'm talking about.

HELP!!!!!OK, firstly, you can open the site an Dreamweeaver CS 4 and insert your flash video, but with CS 5.5 Adobe decided that Flash support should be something they should deprecate. And there is good reason.
Mobile devices don't handle Flash very well. iPhones and iPads simply won't play it and many of the Android devices make a video into a slide show with sound.
With CS 5.5 though, you can make an HTML5 document that understands the <video> tag. This will allow you to directly embed a video into a website without needing any plugin. There is a complete explanation and tutorial here:

That's it! You can add additional stuff, like an image placeholder and so on, but really, you're looking at four lines of code here. Now, with the Flash stuff, Adobe, which supported Flash, wrote all of the code for you. While that was easy, it was a lot more complicated and, of course, clients on your site had to have the Flash plugin to see the video.
Your doctype declatation is XHTML 1.0 strict. You will need to change your doctype to HTML5 thusly:

Lastly, you will need to make sure that your server understands the ogg Theora MIME type. Download your .,htaccess file from your remote server and add the following lines to the end of that file:

You may also be able to add these MIME types from your server's control panel.

rows get inserted into the tbale, but only whol columns have the data.
all the attributes are correctly mapped to view instance and view attribute.
My VO has 1 EO and , i have joined another table to get desctriptions of the field.
could that be the problem ?

Need some help after inserting CMS system
Hi on my site ive inserted an CMS system from Cushy. It all work that isnt the problem. The problem is that my page is a mess now.. The only thing ive addes is a cms code so im hoping the solution isnt hard to do.
There are three pages that are complete changed.
The home page

Help me please haveing trouble inserting fireworks HTML to dreamweaver
when trying to insert a fireworks html that i exported from
fireworks mx using the export wizard as soon as i choose the file
to insert into dreamweaver i get an error message that says

MX\Configuration\Shared\MM\Scripts\insertFireworksHTML. js has been
running for a long time. Do you want to continue?
When i click yes it just comes up with the same message
multiple times and than after a couple times and than goes back to
the begging and does not do anything
I do not know why it is doing this it does this on multiple

Quit DW.
Find this file-
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
(these folders are normally hidden - you may have to use
Explorer > Tools >
Folder Options to unhide them)
and delete it.
Restart DW. Works better?

Hi all java guru,
on post http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=57&thread=485469 i've depicted my scenario in which i have a JTable where i want to add styled text.
i've implemented a CustomTableModel that maintains information about text style, in such way that when renderer cell, i can rebuild exact text with its style....same method is adopted for CellEditor.
It is possible to have more than one JTable in my application....then to correctly handle all JTables ' put them in a vector and during editing and rendering i find current focusable/selected JTable and edit/render it.
Clearly i maintain information about style of text when i insert it, that is when i insert text, i update my CustomTableModel...same thing must be done when i delete text from JTable...that is, i must update CustomTableModel too in this case.
Because my CellEditor is a JEditorPane component (extend it) i've registered document associated to it to a DocumentListener that notify every time that a remove operation is happens.
What is the problem now???problem is that when i finish to edit a cell and click on another cell i've got a removeUpdate(DocumenEvent e) event, and i can't distinguish it.....it seems a real remove event....
In this case(when i change cell) the code that is executes returns wrong result and invalidate all the rest.
I think error is where i register celleditor , now i do it in CustomCellRenderer class that extend JEditorPane and implements TableCellRenderer.
Please help me...this is a great trouble that invalidate all my work :(

}Ok, stan...this is my CustomCellRenderer class....as i have already said, i have some style text info mainteined by CustomTableModel associated with JTable.
I update CustomTableModel every time that an insert and remove operation happens.
If i add a DocumentListener to CellEditor (that rapresents editor cell of my table) happens that, if i remove some character from an editing cell, i got a removeUpdate event.....and this is right!!! But if i change cell (e.g. supposing editing cell(1,1), click on cell(2,1) then stop edit cell(1,1) and start edit cell(2,1)) i got a removeUpdate event, that I don't wait for to me..
Look at this:

cell 0 ------- cell1
supposing you're in cell1 and you have finished to insert "some text".Then click on cell0, that is empty....then document associated with CellArea(extend JEditorPane) before of the click on cell0 had some text, but after click have no text, then for it a removeUpdate is happens.....and is that one i got..
it's as if an unique document is associated to all cells, while should be one document for each cell (i hope this is right).
Clearly, i've same code for renderer, in such way that i can restore style of text on rendering.
Hope is clear....if U have any idea or suggestion please give to me.

Need help to insert and update records in MDM
Hi ,
I am trying to develop an webdynpro application which can create and update records in tables of a repository of MDM . For example .. I want to insert values and later update values in Vendor table.
I am new to webdynpro and MDM. If any one can help step by step or can send a sample code which I can be ready to use that would be great help.

Need help in Insertion of Element in DefaultStyledDocument
Hello:
I am developing an XML editor by extending the DefaultStyledDocument of javax.swing.text package. I am not able to insert an element in the document.
This is what I have done: (I need to insert one BranchElement, with two leaf child elements.)
I inserted the text in the document corresponding to the first child element using insertString() method. In the insertUpdate() method of the document, I am creating the branch element and its first child covering the inserted text. I then call the insertUpdate() method of DefaultStyledDocument. Similarly, I insert text corresponding to the second child and modify the element structure inside insertUpdate() and then call the insertUpdate() of DefaultStyledDocument().
At the end of the execution, the element structure is okay, but all the inserted text also becomes a part of the previous element.
for example,
if I have the following element structure at the beginning: (element offsets are in the square brackets besides their names, child elements are indented.)

start-leaf [0 1]
end-leaf [1 2]
and I insert body at position 1 with its two children (each of length 1)
I get the following element structure:
html [0 4]
start-leaf [0 3] //why this?
body [1 3]
start-leaf[1 3] //why this instead of [1 2]?
end-leaf [2 3]
end-leaf [3 4]
And, I am not able to see the Views corresponding to the inserted elements.
(I tried without modifying the element structure explicitely, but it doesn't work that way.Also, I am able to remove elements from the document. In that case also I am following a similar logic: remove the data from the document using remove() method and modify the element structure inside removeUpdate(). and it seems to work fine.)
Can anyone please help me understand why this is happening?

Help in inserting rows into a table
I have a table called acct_fact,
I need to insert rows in the table using a script but the problem is there's a column called seq_nbr which has random seq nbr of 14character length like 'ZWX98MGD9MVAD6J','ZWX98MG67RVAD6J' etc.,
While inserting rows I need to generate such seq_nbr for those columns and insert rows into the table, can I use any such mechanism in my insert query to insert such random nbr's while inserting rows into a table.

Urgent Pl help :Cannot insert Order Group in KONK
I am not able to insert new Order Group in KONK the number range i select for the Group get added in the number range interval but i can not see any order group which i am trying to insert.
I have check the transaction SU53 for any authorization object issue but there is no such issue and system is showing the message authorization check was successful.

For internal order group number ranges try in T.code: KOT2_OPA
select the order for which you want to change the number range
click on change button at the number range, select order group again,
go to Intervals menu and click on Maintain it will allow you to change the number ranges.
