Help with HW, reading BufferedReader text lines

Question

Heres my question:
Implement (i.e., write the body of) the following method, countLines, that, given a BufferedReader parameter, counts and returns the number of lines of text in the corresponding file/stream.
public static int countLines(BufferedReader in) throws IOException
String line = inputfile.readLine();
          while(line != null)
          inputfile.close();
}Am i on the right track? If so, how do i read each line in the reader using the while loop?

String line = in.readLine();
int count =0; // Add This?
          while(line != null)
               line=in.readLine(); // This may help Dunno
                                               count++;
          in.close();
return count;
}Go ahead and try this. Best I could do... Run it in a compiler just to check but i think that will work.
