  • Help with java mapping

    PI File adapter has a processing option u2018Empty-Message Handlingu2019 to ignore or Write Empty Files. In case there is no data created after mapping on target side then this option determines whether to write an empty file or not. But there is a catch to this option when it comes to using it with File Content Conversion which is described in SAP Note u2018821267u2019. It states following:
    I configure the receiver channel with File content conversion mode and I set the 'Empty Message Handling' option to ignore. Input payload to the receiver channel is generated out of mapping and it does not have any record sets. However, this payload has a root element. Why does file receiver create empty output file with zero byte size in the target directory?  Example of such a payload generated from mapping is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns1:test xmlns:ns1="http://abcd.com/ab"></ns1:test>
    solution :
    If the message payload is empty (i.e., zero bytes in size), then File adapter's empty message handling feature does NOT write files into the target directory. On the other hand, if the payload is a valid XML document (as shown in example) that is generated from mapping with just a root element in it, the File Adapter does not treat it as an empty message and accordingly it writes to the target directory. To achieve your objective of not writing files (that have just a single root element) into the target directory, following could be done:
    Using a Java or ABAP Mapping in order to restrict the creation of node itself during mapping. (This cannot be achieved via Message Mapping)
    Using standard adapter modules to do content conversion first and then write file.
    can someone help with java mapping that can be used in this case?

    Hi,
        You have not mentioned the version of PI you are working in. In case you are working with PI 7.1 or above then here is the java mapping code you need to add after message mapping in the same interface mapping

    The code for PI 7.0 should also work for PI 7.1 provided you use the right jar files for compilation, but vice-versa is not true.
    Could you please let us know if this code was useful to you or not?

  • Help with Java script

    So , I edited the ITunes.java as described in the Admin guide.Copied the .class to my cgi folder in the server.I copied the itunesu file from the shell folder of the sample code.I have modified it accordingly.But when I run it in browser(Firefox) as ..../cgi-bin/itunesu it just gives me a blank page.Nothing shows up.I ran the ITunes.java file locally and it generates an HTML output, which I copied and created a new html.After I run this HTML file, it opens my itunes, but again it says page not found and url contains https://www.xxx.edu/cgi-bin/itunesu?destination=xxx.edu where xxx is my institution name.Not sure if I am supposed to display my institution name in forum.
    The admin guide says on page 15 step 4.Copy the itunes.class file and other itunes file to your web server's cgi-bin directory.
    I am not quiet sure what does other itunes file mean??
    This is how my .java file looks.

    String siteDomain = siteURL.substring(siteURL.lastIndexOf('/') + 1);
    String destination = siteDomain;
    // Append your site's debug suffix to the destination if you want
    // to receive an HTML page providing information about the
    // transmission of credentials and identity between this program
    // and iTunes U. Uncomment the following line for testing only.
    //destination = destination + debugSuffix;
    // Use an ITunesU instance to format the credentials and identity
    // strings and to generate an authorization token for them.
    ITunesU iTunesU = new ITunesU();

    "ITunesU.hmacSH256(): US-ASCII encoding not supported!");
    String token = iTunesU.getAuthorizationToken(credentials, identity,
    now, key);
    // Use the authorization token to connect to iTunes U and obtain
    // from it the HTML that needs to be returned to a user's web
    // browser to have a particular page or item in your iTunes U
    // site displayed to that user in iTunes. Replace "/Browse/" in
    // the code below with "/API/GetBrowseURL/" if you instead want
    // to return the URL that would need to be opened to have that
    // page or item displayed in iTunes.
    String prefix = siteURL.substring(0, siteURL.indexOf(".woa/") + 4);
    String url = prefix + "/Browse/" + destination;
    String results = iTunesU.invokeAction(url, token);
    System.out.println(results);
    The itunes file from Shell folder has been modified as follows
    DISPLAY_NAME= "myname"
    EMAIL_ADDRESS="[email protected]"
    USERNAME="mylogin"
    USER_IDENTIFIER="1243"
    all the other things in that file have been untouched.
    I also generated the debug which looks like this
    iTunes U Access Debugging
    Received
    Destination xxx.edu
    Identity "my name" <[email protected]> (mylogin) [1243]
    Credentials Administrator@urn:mace:itunesu.com:sites:xxx.edu
    Time 1196706873
    Signature 533870b8jshdidk333lfsf6a3143a55c132ec548a4d545bd79322402e8e2596e4
    Analysis
    The destination string is valid and the corresponding destination item was found.
    The identity string is valid and provides the following information:
    Display Name my name
    Email Address [email protected]
    Username mylogin
    User Identifier 1243
    The credential string is valid and contains the following recognized credential:
    1. Administrator@urn:mace:itunesu.com:sites:xxx.edu
    The time string is valid and corresponds to 2007-12-03 18:34:33Z.
    The signature string is valid.
    Access
    Because the received signature and time were valid, the received identity and credentials were accepted by iTunes U.
    In addition, the following 2 credentials were automatically added by iTunes U:
    1. All@urn:mace:itunesu.com:sites:xxx.edu
    2. Authenticated@urn:mace:itunesu.com:sites:xxx.edu
    With these credentials, you have browsing, downloading, uploading, and editing access to the requested destination.
    I am pretty new to this, and working on this for the first time.If someone could guide me through this would be pretty helpful.

    This is only going to work under IE !
    Go to your page template :
    Modify the definition, make sur you have this :
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>#TITLE#</title>
    #HEAD#
    <Script language = javascript>
    Browser = navigator.appName
    Net = Browser.indexOf("Netscape")
    Micro = Browser.indexOf("Microsoft")
    Netscape = false
    IE = false
    if(Net >= 0) {Netscape = true}
    if(Micro >= 0) {IE = true}
    function XYpos() {
    if (IE == true) {
    xPos = event.screenX
    yPos = event.screenY
    alert(xPos + " left " + yPos + " down")
    else if (Netscape == true) {alert("Script won't work: " + "\n" + "You're using Netscape")}
    </script>
    Modify the body definition, make sure you have this :
    <body #ONLOAD# onMouseDown = XYpos()>
    I didnt try it but it make sens to me... tell me if it works!

  • Help with Login Form (JSP DB Java Beans Session Tracking)

    Hi, I need some help with my login form.
    The design of my authetication system is as follows.
    1. Login.jsp sends login details to validation.jsp.
    2. Validation.jsp queries a DB against the parameters received.
    3. If the query result is good, I retrieve some information (login id, name, etc.) from the DB and store it into a Java Bean.
    4. The bean itself is referenced with the current session.
    5. Once all that's done, validation.jsp forwards to main.jsp.
    6. As a means to maintain state, I prefer to use url encoding instead of cookies for obvious reasons.I need some help from step 3 onwards please! Some code snippets will do as well!
    If you think this approach is not a good practice, pls let me know and advice on better practices!
    Thanks a lot!

    Alright,here is an example for you.
    Assume a case where you don't want to give access to any JSP View/HTML Page/Servlet/Backing Bean unless user logging system and let assume you are creating a View Object with the name.
    checkout an example (Assuming the filter is being applied to a pattern * which means when a resource is been accessed by webapplication using APP_URL the filter would be called)
    public doFilter(ServletRequest req,ServletResponse res,FilterChain chain){
         if(req instanceof HttpServletRequest){
                HttpServletRequest request = (HttpServletRequest) req;
                HttpSession session = request.getSession();
                String username = request.getParameter("username");
                String password = request.getParameter("password");
                String method = request.getMethod();
                String auth_type  = request.getAuthType();
                if(session.getAttribute("useInfoBean") != null)
                    request.getRequestDispatcher("/dashBoard").forward(req,res);
                else{
                        if(username != null && password != null && method.equaIsgnoreCase("POST") && (auth_type.equalsIgnoreCase("FORM_AUTH") ||  auth_type.equalsIgnoreCase("CLIENT_CERT_AUTH")) )
                             chain.doFilter(req,res);
                        else
                          request.getRequestDispatcher("/Login.jsp").forward(req,res);
    }If carefully look at the code the autherization is given only if either user is already logged in or making an attempt to login in secured way.

  • Need help with simple XML validation

    I am new to Spry and need some help creating a simple
    validation. There is a form field which must not contain a value
    already in the database. I have a script which accepts a parameter
    and returns a boolean result. Here is the XML:
    <samples>
    <sample>
    <ISFOUND>0</ISFOUND>
    </sample>
    </samples>
    1. How do I call this script when the form field changes and
    pass the form value as the parameter?
    2. How do I check the returned value in the XML and throw an
    error if true?
    I appreciate any help with this. Please let me know if there
    is a better way to achieve the same result.
    Thanks,
    Rich

    I enabled the call to the XML response. However, I am having
    trouble identifying when the call is complete so I can parse the
    result. How do I run my check after the data load and display the
    proper message?

  • Help with web form script. PHP, CGI, Perl???

    anyone willing to help with a web form script? I have a form built, but cant seem to figure out the scripting! Should I be using Perl, CGI, PHP... What do I need to enable? I am a complete novice when it comes to scripts. Looking for a little friendly help.

    Here is a simple bit of PHP to stick in the page your form posts to. You would need to edit the first three variables to your liking, and add the html you want to serve afterwards:
    <pre>
    <?php
    $emailFrom = '[email protected]';
    $emailTo = '[email protected]';
    $emailSubject = 'Subject';
    $date = date('l, \t\h\e dS \o\f F, Y \a\t g:i A');
    $browser = $HTTPSERVER_VARS['HTTP_USERAGENT'];
    $hostname = $HTTPSERVER_VARS['REMOTEADDR'];
    $message = "$date\n\nAddress: $hostname\nBrowser: $browser\n\n";
    foreach ($_POST as $key => $value) {
    $message .= $key . ": " . $value . "\n";
    $mailResult = mail($emailTo,$emailSubject,$message,"From: $emailFrom");
    ?>
    </pre>
    This script will grab the server's date and the submitter's address and browser type. It will then list the name and value of each form field you have put on your form.
    Also, this script expects your form method="post".
    Lastly, you can offer alternate text later on in your html page based on the success of the above script with a snippet like this:
    <pre><?php
    if ($mailResult) {
    echo "Your comments have been received thank you.";
    } else {
    echo "There was an error. Please try again or contact us using an alternate method.";
    ?></pre>

  • Need help with java will even pay

    I need extreme help. I just don't have time lately to write these programs and I have fallen extremely behind. Basically all I need is to pass this class and right now until I can get some more help I just can't make the deadlines. If someone could help me I will pay you just like a tutor.
    Requirements for Lab.
    You will need to develop a variety of classes for this lab. Specifically, you need to create:
    +1. a "PersonGUI" class that displays fields for a person's: firstName, lastName, identificationNum, and sex.+
    +2. a "StudentGUI" class that provides Java components for the entry of: classification (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student), and Checkboxes for (a student being in the Honor's program and/or in the ROTC).+
    +3. a "FacultyGUI" class that provides Java components for the entry of: rank (instructor, assistant, associate, or full professor), years of service, and salary.+
    +4. a "Statistics" class that, when instantiated, creates an object containing an instance variable for each of the the statistical values outlined below. (Each of these instance variables should be declared to be "private".)+
    Your main Lab6 class should provide a means for the user to:
    +1. Specify the kind of personal data to be entered (Student or Faculty), and+
    +2. Then, depending on the choice made, appropriate fields should be displayed to allow the user to input appropriate information for the type of personal data being entered, and+
    +3. Controls that support the following functionality:+
    * a "CANCEL" control that will terminate any operation currently being performed and return the user to the "Startup" window.
    * a "SAVE" control that will cause the just entered data to be harvested from the graphical user interface and the appropriate statistics to be updated. Note: this function may NOT be performed if any of the student or faculty member data fields have not been filled in.
    * a "RESET" control that will erase all information recorded to date (i.e., all summary variables are reset to zero).
    * a "CLEAR" control that will erase all fields for the personal data currently being entered.
    * and a "DISPLAY TOTALS" control that will display, when pressed, the following data:
    +1. For students:+
    +1. total number of students entered so far,+
    +2. number who are male and number who are female,+
    +3. number of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students,+
    +4. number of students who are in the Honor's program and number who are in the ROTC.+
    +2. For faculty:+
    +1. total number of faculty entered so far,+
    +2. number who are male and number who are female,+
    +3. the name and salary of the highest paid faculty member on campus.+
    Your program should validate numeric data to the extent:
    +1. no numeric field (id number, years of service, or salary) may be left blank by the user. If done so, the user should be alerted to enter a numeric value.+
    +2. when the user enters a "years of service" value for a faculty member - the value entered should be verified to be a valid integer value in the range 1 to 50. If the data entered is outside the valid range or is not a valid integer - your program should reject the value and prompt the user that invalid data has been entered and that a new value is necessary.+
    +3. when a faculty salary is entered, verify that it is a floating-point value in the range $35,000 to $200,000. Handle invalid data as described above.+
    +4. Similarly, if an invalid integer value is entered for the identification number, the value should be rejected and the user prompted to reenter.+
    +5. Information should not be saved, nor should statistical values be updated, until all numeric data has been validated.+
    Note -- You will be graded on appropriate use of instance vs. local variables, use of methods, and passing parameters and returning appropriate values.
    +1. The 'Statistics" class MUST provide "mutator" and "accessor" methods that are required to access values or to modify the values of any variable. REMEMBER ALL VARIABLES ARE DECLARED TO BE "private"!!+
    +2. You should implement methods to verify the data, as detailed above. The methods should return boolean values indicating whether the data is acceptable or not.+

    Sorry to hear about your problems - lack of time, having fallen behind, imminent failure etc - but none of these are Java problems.
    This site deals with Java problems: compiler or runtime behaviour that people can't understand. If you have problems of that sort (and especially if solving those problems would help with the problems you did describe) then post them.
    Otherwise you would seem to be in the wrong place.

  • Need Help with Conatct Form

    I created a Contact Form  in DW CS6, and I used the php and html files provided by Nancy O. in her forum dated back to October 2011. Follow the link for details. http://forums.adobe.com/message/3970070#3970070
    I believe I have followed all the required steps, and almost everything seems working properly, except that I am not (Recipient) getting an e-mail. However, the client has received an automated reply from me (Recipient). But no e-mail were sent to me.
    Please refer to below (Part of php code - Between Lines 12 and 35) where I have made the changes:
    I am not sure where I have made an error(s). Could anyone please assist?

    Hi Nancy,
    I created a new Gmail address as you suggested, and then tested the Form with it. I still can't receive an e-mail.
    Also, I have contacted my Web Host, and they confirmed that there are no issues from their end.
    I have attached below both the php and the html files, and I would appreciate if you can take a look at them for correctness:

  • Need help with designing form for exports

    Hi
    I am pretty new to designing form in adobe acrobat.
    I have adobe acrobat 9 standard with Adobe liveCycle Designer installed.
    There are couple of things I want to do.
    1.
    I would like to add a box where I can change the number (default is 1), and when I increase it, (for instance to two)
    then
    it will postulate the particular sections twice.
    For instance, I am taking two drugs right now, then I would like to increase the number of drugs to 2, so then for each drug
    I would enter appropriate information such as drug name, drug form, route of drug administration etcs
    I hope this is clear
    2.
    I am trying to export this in xml format so that only the ones where the user fills in in pdf form gets exported to xml format.
    I would like the boxes to have its own tag, for instance the drug name mentioned above can have a tag of <drugname></drugname>
    I know this is possible through changing the box's name in binding tab.
    What I am interested in is to add a tag for the section, like a header.
    For example, if I were to enter two drug information I want the first drug information to be exported to be
    <drug>
    <drugname>blah</drugname><drugform>1</drugform><drugroute>oral</drugroute>
    </drug>
    <drug>
    <drugname>drug2</drugname><drugform>1</drugform>
    <drugroute>ophthalmic</drugroute>
    </drug>
    how would I add <drug> </drug> for each drug?
    also, can I change the order of the tags??
    in the pdf form, if the drugname box is displayed later than drugroute box, then when I export it, it will display as
    <drugroute>oral</drugroute><drugname>blah</drugname>
    but I want to manually set the order of tags when exported.
    Sorry I asked so many questions
    I hope it is clear enough for you to visualize what I am trying to do
    Thank you so much

    1. You can certainly add sections for the number of drugs that the user specifies pr
    ovided that the form is set up the correct way to begin with. The drug information section must be wrapped in a subform (usually Poistioned) and that in turn must be wrapped in a flowed subform. Then the form must be saved as dynamic. If this information is all that is on the form then that shoudl be all you need to do. If th edrug section is in the middle of the form then you need to wrap the other parts of the form in a subform so they can be pushed down when we add the drug subforms. It can get confusing ...seeing the form amnd its structure would help to clarify.
    2. You canbnot change the names of tags on the fly but you can change their values. AS mentioned above, when you wrap the Drug information in a subform that subform name can be used as a tag in the XML. Then you could have a node with the tag (or an attribute) that names the drug in question. Something like this:
    <Drug Section>
         <Drug>
              <DrugName></DrugName>
              <Dossage></Dossage>
              <Supplier></Supplier>
         </Drug Subform>
         <Drug>
              <DrugName></DrugName>
              <Dossage></Dossage>
              <Supplier></Supplier>
         </Drug>
    </Drug Section>
    As mentioned earlier this is always easier to explain when you see it in context of your form.....if you want to send it to me at [email protected] I can get you started at least. Please include a description of your issue in the email

  • Need help with java J2Se 5.0 upgrade 2

    Having problems with Java when playing on Pogo, the Vaults of Atlantis. When loading, I am getting a message that says that I need to remove and download again, java. That it is not working correctly. I did that yesterday, 05/27/05 and am still experiencing the problem but only after signing off from Pogo and AOL and then trying to sign back on again later in the day. I have to shutdown my computer and bring it back up again and then I can load the Vaults of Atlantis. I have noticed that when I do sign-off from Pogo and AOL, that my java cup stays on in my deskbar. Is that supposed to be normal or is it supposed to disappear? If it is supposed to disappear, what can I do to fix that problem?
    Please, can anyone help?

    Go here http://www.java.com/en/ and click "Download Now".
    If that has problems, click the "Manual Download" link and download the "Windows (Offline Installation)".
    If there are problems, review the Help information to resolve.

  • Need help with Java programming installation question

    Sorry for my lack of knowledge about Java programming, but:....
    A while back I thought I had updated my Java Runtime Environment programming. But I now apparently have two programs installed, perhaps through my not handling the installation properly. Those are:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 5.0 (a 118MB file)
    and:
    Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v 1.4.2_05 (a 108MB file)
    Do I need both of these installed? If not, which should I uninstall?
    Or, should I just leave it alone, and not worry about it?
    Yeah, I don't have much in the way of technical knowledge...
    Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
    Bob VanHorst

    Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll do just that. Once in a while I have a problem with Java not bringing up a webcam shot, but when that happens, it seems to be more website based than a general condition.

  • Need Help with Java Homework

    This is my first post here, seeking some help with my java homework. I am required to create a program to write out a receipt for a pizza company: name of company, total number of pizzas, costs (including tax etc), and print out the receipt after taking an order from the customer.
    This is a beginner's java class and my book isn't very good at explaining (mainly because it says "will be discussed in ch 14" when we're in ch 1-3 and it's an essential part of the program).
    But anyways, if anyone is up right now, would be helpful for some help. I have a general idea of what I wanna do, but the program so far is very messy and incomplete and having trouble getting it to look nice and proper.

    well there were two ways of doing this, im only 2 weeks new in java so bear with me.....I was gonna set 3 classes, one appclass, one order form, and one receipt. I was told you can combine the order and receipt in 1 class, but I thought doing 3 woudl be better to help me learn more...anyways, I haven't worked on the appclass yet, but for the order I have a very messy set of codes. I know that it's wrong but it's a start, im looking for any input cause the book does not explain very much.
    For the order class, I will be doing showinputdialog boxes for how many pizzas, the sizes, and the toppings. Here is what I have so far ( i know it is VERY messy and disorganized but I am a bit lost in where I should go next):
    * @author AlexNguyen
    * To take the order with number of pizzas and toppings
    package project2;
    import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
    public class Order {
         public int NumberOfPizzas;
         public char Pepperoni;
         public char Sausage;
         public char Cheese;
         public Order(int n) {
         NumberOfPizzas = n;
         JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter Number of Pizzas"));
    String ptype; {
         public void start();
         public void takeOrder();
         public void writeReceipt();
              public void takeOrder();
              ptype = Topping
    public String selectPizza(char P, char S, char C) {
         Pepperoni = P;
         Sausage = S;
         Cheese = C;
    public void numPizza(int numberOfPizzas) {
         num = numberOfPizzas;
    JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Topping for Pizza?");
    JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Pizza Size?");
    JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Number of Pizzas?");
    }

  • Need help with Java fonts (broken in 10.4.9)

    Hi, folks,
    There was a post late last year (maybe October?) that explained how to fix a problem with Java fonts. (OK...I know NOTHING, but I am able to follow directions!)
    I play games on Yahoo.com (Literati and Word Racer) that now have unreadable fonts since I upgraded 3 days ago. I seem to remember last year's fix had something to do with disabling fonts. I just can't remember what to do and have spent an hour looking for the post.
    If you can find it - or tell me what to do - I'd appreciate it. Remember, I need really specific directions.
    Thanks.
    iMac duo core   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

    I am able to set up a new account and work but even after deleting all preferences the problem persists in my admin account.
    I'll try to look for any font corruption and clear font cache but having to reinstall the OS is a real drag. Not sure why PS should corrupt the OS, itself.
    Any chance I can uninstall and remove PS then install again?

  • [SOLVED] Need a little help with ACPI handler.sh script.

    By using ACPI I'm trying to get my laptop to hibernate at critical power state. So far I've made a few test scripts to test how to do this, with one of these scripts I'm stuck. My scripting skills are not that good to solve it.
    This is the script:
    if [ `awk '{print $3}' /proc/acpi/battery/C1E9/state` == "ok" ]
    then
    logger "battery is ok"
    else
    logger "battery is not ok"
    fi
    If I run the script I get an error (while "battery is not ok" is logged):
    ┌─[~]
    └─> ./test2
    ./test2: line 1: [: too many arguments
    ┌─[~]
    └─>
    When I run the awk-command from the script, I get the following output:
    ┌─[~]
    └─> awk '{print $3}' /proc/acpi/battery/C1E9/state
    ok
    discharging
    2341
    1824
    10969
    ┌─[~]
    └─>
    I think the problem lies in the multiple output of the awk-command, but I'm stuck in solving it.
    Any help would be great.

  • New @ RMI need help with  java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling

    Hi @ all out there,
    I'm new with Java RMI and have to write a EventSystem for an college project where clients can subscribe to a topic and get notified when someone publishes a message to the subscribed topic.
    At server-side I have a class called EventSystem that provides methods for subscribing and unsubscribing from topics, and also for posting messages (for publishers).
    To subscribe i thought that the client must specify the topic and also itself ( means that a client calls in this way: obj.subscribe("mytopic", this).
    The EventSystem handles a list of all clients, and whenever a new message is posted it goes trough all clients and invokes the handleMessage(String msg) method that all Clients have to provide.
    On my local machine without RMi this concept works just great.
    I now tried to get it working using RMI , but I get the following Exception when starting the client (the server starts fine) :
