Here is the ACI I tried to use:

1. Is the targetfilter syntax above correct? This does not work even when I tried the other notation

2. xyzadmin needs to update (another system creates a value initially) an 'extendedattribute' in either of the 'extendedobjectclass1/2'. This works if I set seperate ACIs. If I combine them (as above) does not work. Any solutions?
3. Not exactly related to this. The 'extendedattribute' is a multi-value attribute. Say it has two values,
(extendedattribute: ID1=222|ID2=333, ID1=444|ID2=-1). If I want to use ldapmodify and replace the
'ID1=444|ID2=-1' to 'ID1=444|ID2=555', how can it be done?
The same question can be rephrased as 'how can I replace a value amongst a set of values in a multivalued attribute with ldapmodify'? Is it possible?
p.s.: Please don't ask to split the ID1, ID2 into 2 attributes as one of the products using the directory requires it to be that way (ID1=<vale>|ID2=<value>).

My answer will concerne only your first query.
Firstly, the target syntax must include the target keywork in the first portion of rule.
Have you try these syntax ===>
(targetfilter="(|(objectClass=groupofuniquenames)(|(objectClass=extendedobjectclass1)(objectClass=extendedobjectclass2)))")
or
(targetfilter="(|(objectclass=groupofuniquenames)(objectclass=extendedobjectclass1)(objectclass=extendedobjectclass2))"
The first syntax works correctly for me.

Help with vocal filter

I just got an interesting project where I'm asked to filter noise and raise the level of a voice recording that was probably done by an answering machine, hand recorder or other such low-fi device. You can barely hear the female voice above the room noise and audio hiss. Similar to a lecture hall with air conditioning motors or electrical buzzing near the recorder and the source voice perhaps 30 feet away, with no microphone. The noise is more consistant than the speaker.
Can anyone recommend a filter or group of filters within Logic to start with?

I'm not hopeful for using anything within Logic - the voice seems too close to the surrounding noise, so a gate won't help much. The hiss is fairly easy, but the electrical noises and motor sounds might be too mixed in with the voice to allow much filtering without destroying the vocal itself.
If this is important to you, you might try SoundSoap. It has tools that might help, as it can sample the noise and apply a filter to reduce it, as long as you have a section that has no voice which you can sample.

It's not cheap, though.
You could try using a combination of Logic's Expander and Match EQ and experiment, but you describe a situation that's going to be really tough.

Need help with my iPhone 5 and my Macbook Pro. I was purchased some music on itunes at my mac. Some reason I deleted those music from both on Mac and iPhone 5. Today, I went to my iPhone iTunes store inside of iCloud to redownload my puchased. But those song won't able to sync back to my iTunes library on my Mac. Can anyone help me with that ??....

Need help with pictures on an external HDD and windows labtop to Ipad3

Hallo everybody!
This week (I finally) bought an Ipad 3 and an Apple TV!
For the time being I still have a windows labtop and an external HDD full with photo's.
The ICloud software for windows has been installed because I would like to stream the pictures from this external HDD to my Ipad and then ofcourse on my flatscreen TV (via Apple TV). And ofcourse back, when I have taken a photo or a movie on the Ipad 3.
I would appreciate some help with the following questions:
do I have add all pictures from the HDD into a new map on the windows labtop. So that via Icloud the contain could become 'in the cloud'.
or do I have to add all the pictures from the HDD into the Itunes map on the windows labtop.
I have connected the Ipad to the windows labtop and via Itunes I have synchroniced a lot of pictures to the Ipad. I asume these are copies? And is it possible to remove them from the Ipad, because it will take a lot of memory (currently already 35 GB from the 64 GB).
Well I hope somebody could help me.

Help with PageMaker 7.0, Transparent Backgrounds, and Feathering in Photoshop CS5

Hi all,
I am hoping someone here can help me out with a problem that I've been having for more than a week that I can't seem to figure out and it's driving me crazy.
I have a friend who's trying to put together a graphical instruction manual using PageMaker 7.0. My friend would like to have the borders on the pictures in the manual be softened and the background needs to be transparent, because each page in the manual will have a background watermark picture.
I am running into a number of problems. I have been using the feather and contrast options under Refine Edges in Photoshop CS5. While the picture looks and prints great from Photoshop, as soon as I save the picture to a file format that I can import into Word and then PageMaker (more on this step below), the feathering only either becomes white instead of transparent (the rest of the transparent part of the picture is still fine) or the feathering becomes horribly pixelated.
I am not sure which step in the process is causing the picture to degrade. The two file formats that seem to at least retain the transparency through the importing process are PNG and TIFF, albeit horribly pixelated. Could using these file formats cause the quality issue that I am describing? Could it be transferring it through Word first, as described below?
Is there are any other methods that one can use in Photoshop CS5 to soften the border of a picture other than feathering that may work better for these purposes.
Regarding the use of Word to retain the transparency into PageMaker... are there any better ways of accomplishing this? In order for the transparency to be retained, I need to add a text box, send it behind the picture, group it together, and copy the group over in order to retain the transparency using Word. This, needless to say, is a horribly huge pain in the ***. Any suggestions that could cut down the number of steps would be appreciated.

Pagemaker does support transparency for placed files, just not
partial transparency like drop shadows or feathering that
would result in partial transparency.
You can place an object into pagemaker without getting the
white background by making a clipping path of the object
and then saving the file as tiff file. Then you would use
File>Place in pagemaker.
You could also put a background behind your object that matches the page in pagemaker
or use photoshop to make the layout.

Help with songs files transfer on iPod and iTouch?

Hey guys.
I just got an itouch recently and I need help with something but I don't really know how to describe it so I'll try my best to put it in a way for you guys to understand. Is there an option where when you plug in the iTouch into your computer, but you don't want to transfer the songs/mp3 files you already have originally on your iPod to be automatically transfer over to your itouch? Everytime when I connect the iTouch to computer it would just copy the mp3 files over to it butI don't really want that. I just want the mp3 file to stay on the iPod only.

Does it get cut off on the iPod or in iTunes (or both)?
Does it always happen with the same songs?
The problem may be related to the program that was used to encode those files. Do a +Get Info+ on a few of the affected songs and see if there is anything in common where is says +Encoded with+ on the Summary tab.

Help with After Effects? Null Layer and Text not working?

In after effects cs5.5 on mac, im motion tracking as normal, and the track works fine, then when i add the null layer and edit the tracking target to the null layer, the screen goes black, and all i can see is the null layer as a red box moving along the motion track path (i cant see the path) also, whenever i try to add text, (which im trying to motion track via attatching to the null layer) the text is invisible, when the screens black, all i can see is the wire frame of the text next to the square null layer, im pretty new to after effects, but im following tutorials as i should, and its just not working as it shows in all the videos ive tried, please help!

Check whether you have wireframe mode enabled/ Live Update disabled. Sounds like one of those cases. Other than that this could be OpenGL issues, so turn it off in the prefs. Also check your comp size vs. the size of the footage you are tracking. Tracking works relative to the layer, so if the comp is too small, the values would be so large they end up being outside the comp.

Help with two scripts - Mounting remote DMG and Checking which network I'm connected to

Hey guys, I need some help with two separate scripts:
1. The first script I'm trying to create to mount a DMG stored remotely on another Mac using an AppleScript or shell script. Using the following:

results in the following error:
error "hdiutil: mount failed - not recognized" number 1
I'm not very experienced regarding AppleScript or using hdiutil, could somebody point out what's wrong with my script?
2. The second script I'm working on to try and essentially prevent the 'Could Not Find Server' Finder dialog when a network mount is unavailable. I guess what I'd like it to do is detect which network I'm connected to, and if I'm connected to the correct network, then mount the shares, otherwise just fail silently without any errors. From the searching I've done, using try statements should do this, but they do not, and I'm still presented with an error dialog after the server cannot be found.
Does anybody have any suggestions on this script? Also, I've seen some tips regarding detecting which wireless network the Mac is connected to, which could work, but what about when connected via Ethernet?

Help with calculated column formula- combine strings and convert to date

In my list (SharePoint Server 2013) I have:
'Invoiced Month' column, type of choice (strings with names of months- January, February, March..., December)
'Year' column, single line of text (e.g. 2012, 2013, 2014)
1. I need to create a calculated column which will return combined value of the columns above, but in DATE format e.g. 'Sep-2013' or '01-Sep-2013'.

Use the formula, I have tested by creating Months column with choice, Year column as numeric and Calculated column as DateTime returned.

Before applying the formula few things need to be noted.
DATE(YEAR, MONTH,DAY) will accepts three parameters all should be type numeric(integer).
Create the Year column of type numeric
Create the calculated column of type "DateTime" to return as date

Need help with Soundblaster Live! 5.1 and King Theatre 5.1 speake

First time ost and need some help.
Ok i bought a nice Soundblaster Li've! 5. sound card around a month ago. 2 days ago i bought myself som speakers "Kingtheatre 5." I doubt it any of you have ever heard of this brand, i bought speakers from local shop. Ok this is where the problems start. When i try to connect the speakers i can only ever get 4 out of 5 satelites to work and the subwoofer. If i change the wiring around, i will only ever have 4 speakers working at a time. Can anyone help me with the connecting. In the back of the subwoofer i have 3 cables, one says "Centre/subwoofer" the other says "Input | surround L/R" with the word Input on the side of it, and the last one says "Front L/R(Stereo)". At the back of my soundcard i have the following colour plug ins (sorry im only 4, im not used to technical terms) Ok from left to right black, green,pink(mic),blue and a orange/brownie colour. Can anyone help with the pluging it part.

If you can post a link for the layout diagram of your speaker system then it will be great.
From your description, you could try this. Connect the audio cable from subwoofer "Front L/R(Stereo)" to Green jack on the sound card, "Input | surround L/R" to the Black jack and "Centre/subwoofer" to the Orange jack on the sound card.
Do a speaker test via the Creative Surround Mixer application.

Help with only allowing someone to fill or edit a pdf form twice

I need to make a pdf form. This form I would like the customer to only be able to fill it out and save it one time. No printing. The form will be on a usb drive. I then need the same thing but be able to fill or edit the form twice and five times. But still no printing at all. I need to sell a package that would allow me to unlock the file if the customer pays for an upgrade of 1, 2 or 5 more times to edit the file. Is there a way to do this???? Any help would be great.. Repeating Regions and Editable Tag Attributes?

I want to produce a template that will let users create pages
that list items as a thumbnail image and a short text description,
one after the other.
I can set this up as a repeating region, but I would also
like to make only certain attributes of the image editable (src and
alt for example). However, when I use editable tag attributes to do
this, the image in each repeated region ends up with the same
attribute values - when I add a new repeat region and then change
the src tag through the Template Properties dialog,
all of the images take on the same src value. Looking at the
code, it looks like the editable instances in each repeated region
get the same name, and so I can see that DW will get confused.
Is this a limitation in DW? Is there a work around anyone can
suggest?

pages and you
want to constrain their editing choices? Are you using
Contribute?
Anyhow, I am not aware of any convenient way you can do
something like this
using DW's Template features.

Need help with a filter to use in Photoshop CS5

I am a novice so please be patient. Over the past 15 years or so I have been using a simple filter that I created in Filter Factory to do some analysis on aerial photographs. I am way behind on updates (currently using Photoshop CS (version 8)). I want to upgrade and am using a trial of CS5. After talking with customer support I've found there is no way to use this filter in CS5 and Filter Factory is no longer supported in the Photoshop suite. Can someone help me to create the same filter in Pixel Bender to use in Photoshop CS5? I will share the details of the filter if someone responds.

Is the result a one channel image? The Pixel Bender language currently supports one and two channel images, in addition to three and four channel images, but unfortunately the tools do not. You should be able to fake the one channel output by marking only a single channel of a three or four channel image. In any case, give the filter, below, a try. It may not do exactly what you want but it should get you most of the way there. You'll want to duplicate it and modify the arithmetic to satisfy the second filter algorithm once you've got the filter tuned to fit your needs.

Help with this ... using drag and drop

I'm an intermediate user of Flash, but I'm stuck ... I'm
trying to see if I can recreate this page in Flash for a friend
(it's an awful site!):
Mannequin
There are two ways I thought I could do this ... as they've
done it, you cycle through the items, click on an item and it will
appear in a hierarchy on the mannequin ... or as I've tried to
attempt it, by dragging the item onto the mannequin.
This is EXTREMELY rough as I just wanted to see if it could
be done before designing it all, so it's stick men I'm afraid! I've
got two movieclips on the stage, one is the console and one is the
mannequin. The console contains items of clothing which are each
movieclips placed in their own frame, back and forward buttons and
an add button (ignore that button).
I've managed to set it up so that the item of clothing
duplicates and you can drag it onto the mannequin. I have two
problems ... the mannequin goes back to normal when I go through
the items in the console and the items in the console appear on top
of each other as you flick through (probably because of the
duplicatemovie command).
I want to be able to drag each item, establish a hierarchy on
the mannequin (e.g. so a jacket will go over a top) ... I've
searched this forum for drag and drop info and have seen references
to specifying a target, but I'm stuck. I've got a feeling I'm on
the right lines, but I've either laid it out wrong on the stage or
I'm missing a vital piece of actionscript ... Please can anyone

- what are you trying to do (drag and drop a whole component, drag an item within a tree, or a table, drag an item from one component to another?)
- have you found the modules you need in the unbound modules?
- have you read the documentation about the drag and drop actions? can you say which parts you're having problems with? The documentation is here. You'll have to select the component you are interested in and locate the action "drag" and the action "drop" to read about the parameters required.

Punchout Site Developer Needs Help With ~TARGET=_top

I've developed an OCI punchout catalog for my company in 2004 and for several years we only had one customer on it and everything was fine. They are using ~TARGET=Main and it seems to work fine for them.
I'm in the process of bringing a new customer online and they want to use our punchout in a new window outside of their SRM and when they are done with our site, they want the cart contents posted back to their main window and they want to our site to close. I'm not aware of any way a child window can post data back to a parent window and then close itself. I've tried many different things and just about everything I've tried produces 1 of 2 results...
I've changed the target parameter of my form to _top, _parent, window.parent, window.opener, etc.
1.) My checkout form posts to the child window itself.
2.) My checkout form creates yet another child window and posts to it.
When either of these two things happen, the HOOK_URL page is shown, but my cart contents don't make it into the page. Closing the child form part is easy with...

I just can't get my form on the child window to submit back to the parent window and don't understand how to do so. Like I said, I've messed with the target attribute of my form tag but haven't had any luck.
I'm a bit confused by this. I'm not sure how a child window form could possibly post back to a parent window. Really I'm looking for a good example on posting back to the SRM correctly when your site is in a child window. My environment of my catalog is ASP on an IIS server.
Please forgive my weak understanding of all this... I threw together my punchout integration in our corporate catalog years ago for this first customer and I don't remember the whole process. It really didn't take that long to get it all set up and working.
