Hey guys, Im expierencing problems with itunes after the latest update yesterday(1/22) and the problem im having is when i plugged my iphone into my PC today a virus detection came up and said a trojan horse was present. I also cant open itunes at all. Im confused and dont know what to do. thanks in advance

You are not on Mountain Lion anymore, right? You are on Mavericks and have downloaded Pages 5 and then created docuemnts in it which can't be opened in Pages 09.
No, you don't have to buy a newer Pages but you have to be particular about which version you use.

Well I am having the same issue and I had not had to worry about getting a "licensed charger." The poster who responded offered not real insite and was rude to boot. It could be that the existing wire in your appartment is not clean enough to provision DSL only. When combined with the phone possibly it has a higher line voltage and worked before. Now that the line is to be provisioned without phone service it may be giving them trouble that did not show before they came out and ran the new line test. So a new jack dedecated for your DSL line may require a new wire be run to your appartment. Also the account for internet only used to require direct billing to a credit card or something else. This was a number of years ago. Most accounts are linked to a phone number, and without a voice number it adds to the confusion.
If you are getting the voice and everything turned on as before, then I am at a loss for words.

Depending upon how extensive your library of legacy Microsoft Office data files are, you may want to consider continuing to use Microsoft Office 2004.
Microsoft Office's 2011 version is compatible with Lion and presumably either works with Mountain Lion or an update will make it so. The problem with this approach is that Office 2011 will "convert" your earlier data files and there lies the rub! For example, I have the need to weekly open a chart created in Excel 2004, but Excel 2011 trashes the chart in its "conversion."
So I have approached the overall problem differently.
The reason your applications do not work in Mountain Lion is that they were written for the older PowerPC CPU that all Macs used up to 2006. When Apple made its transition to the Intel CPU, they licensed software that they included in all versions of OS X (from Tiger to Leopard and optionally, Snow Leopard) called Rosetta.
Rosetta miraculously allows PowerPC applications to work on the Intel processor transparently; you do not know it is even present.
The problem is that after 6 years of the transition, Apple's license to use the underlying software expired for OS X Lion and all version thereafter (and it is doubtful that the current owner of the software, IBM, would relicense it, even if Apple were inclined to do so).
So for those of use that need to run Lion, I have offered the option to install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels 7:

After calling AT&T tech support one more time, and explaining to them that the glitch was on their network, they admitted that the problem was at their tower...
I continued to use the phone on EDGE mode for two more days until the problem was fixed.
I even got a call back from a tech support guy asking me if my phone was working properly....
I wish they would have admitted to the problem before I sat at the apple store for 2 hours.

There are just too many settings and combinations of apps and settings that affect battery use. Look through past posts for references to battery and read through them to get ideas. Some recent ones.. Turn down brightness and set Bluetooth off.

Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

Recovered my deleted CR2 files but now they wont open,,,, HELP

Hi everyone.
I recently had a major disaster, my external hard drive crashed losing some very very precious photos of clients. I have had experts do a recovery on my laptop where they were originally downloaded too and recovered the CR2 files.
Problem is now CS5 and bridge wont open them. My IT guy has done a recovery process to recover the deleted files of my laptop hard drive... can this be a problem iwth CR2 files?
Desperately needing help :-(

I'm having problems with my keyboard since the 8.3 update. It's like the keys get stuck, I keep touching the keys, then it adds a period. I tried the soft reset, I turn my phone off every night. Help?

MY keyboard has been giving me trouble since I updated the iOS 8.3. It stutter stops while I'm texting, if I keep trying to type it may eventually catch up, but also drops a period if I keep hitting the space bar because the cursor isn't moving. Yet another problem with an update. This has been the worst year to own an apple product!

I did an upgrade from 4.0 to the new 6.0 about 5 months ago. After the upgrade installed it said reboot system to apply upgrade. Now it wont open and keeps telling me that the older version needs to shut down the computer and upgrade the old version.

Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.
