Are you sure it's a 3GS? What is the model number?

my wife and i both have iphone 4. they were set up with 1 icloud account. we now both have separate apple id's. I would like to set up a different icloud account on my phone with my apple id and password separate from my wife.
Decide which iPhone will be keeping the current iCloud account. On the one that will be changing accounts, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing Notes with iCloud, you'll also have to email your notes to yourself so they can be recreated in the new account as they cannot be migrated.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, to un-merge the data you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want (such as deleting your wife's data from your account, and vice versa). -

I have lost my iphone 5 in my office and after sometime I find it in my office in my back drawer but some one has lock it by ICloud plz help me how to recover my phone U have all details of my phone.The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords, especially your Apple ID/iCloud password NOW!
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, then phone cannot be re-activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored. -

Whether or not the 3G slider appears is up to the carrier. if it does not appear, as in your case, then 3G is turned on at all times. If the phone can not detect a 3G network, or if your account is not provisioned to allow 3G data service, the phone will automatically drop back to an EDGE network if one is detected.
Contact your carrier. make sure that you are in a 3G coverage area, and that there is not a problem with the 3G service in your area, and that your account is properly provisioned for 3G data.
Try Settings>General>Resets>Reset Network Settings. -

Most likely your phone is carrier locked to a different carrier than the SIM card you're using. It will activate and operate only with the carrier to which it's locked.

Having the email address is not necessary. It is just the username for the device. All you need is that Apple ID and password. Now, if you forgotten the password, then you have more work to do. Since that email is no longer active, you would need to send the reset to your rescue email, if you remember that. Or you will need to contact Apple Security for help. If the iPhone came from the US, then that is the only place where Apple will service it. If you can't take it there yourself, you would need to send the iPhone to someone you know in the US who could get it serviced and then send it back to you.
Your only other option will be to find some unauthorized cellphone repair shop to attempt a repair, after which all further support from Apple, in the US or anywhere else, will no longer be available to you.

I have an iphone 4 started the problem saying no service, then when restarting asked to connect to itunes and became jammed in MDU mode, I connect to itunes and clicked on restore, it went through all the steps and nearly completed it gives me an error message saying cannot be restored error -1. Can anybody help me how to restore my iphone. or what to do next, some reseller asked me to go the shop where I bought to replace it for me as this error cannot be restored by any shop. It has to be returned to apple and get it replaced. The warranty already expired and don't know what to do.
