How apply css on specific tab item (showDetailIteam)

I am using <af:panelTabbed> with <af:showDetailItem>
I want to use style on one of the showDetailItem but I am not able to use it on specific tab.
I have did following and its applied on all tab.

In your CSS file reate a new style class for your unusual tab e.g.
.MyUnusualTab
color: Red;
}Then set the styleClass property for the particular showDetailItem to be your new class e.g.

Can I target a specific webapp item? Forexample I have a content holder that has three places for news information, but the css is slightly different on the last two items. So my two thoughts are to eith specifically target webapp items (ie date) in the three css areas or can/should I do this using a backup list for the last 2 items? I want them to display newest to oldest. Will using a backup list keep my date sorting the same or will it start it over again? Is there a way to tell BC to always display the second latest and then thrid latest item (like you can with the latest item)?

Well there is lots of ways you can do this depending on the exact things you want to do.
You have {tag_itemid} you can use to form unique classes, You got {tag_counter} on list view that you can use to render something like ns-1,ns-2,ns-3 etc to target with your CSS.
You got :first-child and :last-child in CSS you can use and you also have nth child in css as well.

U need to active the tab you want to show:
So you should set the ok_code (of the tab) value to field ACTIVETAB
<TABSTRIP>-activetab = <OK_CODE>.
And transfer the value of subscreen number to the subscreen area:
CALL SUBSCREEN SUBSCREEN1
             INCLUDING G_CTRL_TABSTRIP-PROG
                       G_CTRL_TABSTRIP-SUBSCREEN.

Maybe the item source type could be SQL Query and the query would be: select seq.nextval from dual. Or you could have a before-header page computation do the same thing for the item.

So, I want to be able to show a link in a portlet to a user such that when the link is clicked it takes the user to collaboration server and automatically sets them on the discussion tab...any ideas? do transformer tags work in this case? any other ways?

Another option is to create aliases to those folders and store the aliases in a local folder which you can place on your Dock, the Finder window sidebar or toolbar.

How to make a specific tab the active one when loading a page.

We need to be able to navigate between a set of pages all containing the same tabs. When going from one page to another, the active tab on the new page must be "the same" as the active tab on the previous page. In other words: there must be a mapping between one page's tab and another page's tab. To do this we need to tell the next page which tab to set as selected. Is there any way of doing this? Because we use a left-side that is tab-independant for navigation, we can not hard-code the tab-reference in the hyperlink. We have thought about using a page parameter saying which tab is active (by the use of a tab id), but it seems impossible to make a portlet change the value of a page parameter without doing so with an event. Because the content under each tab is passive, we can't send any events. Is there any other way of doing this?

When I click on the x to close a window, all windows are closing.
When I click on an active link to open a new window, nothing happens , only the already pen one gets replaced. It' s a pain in the butt, and there is no help or solution from FIREFOX, I studied all help resources. I will not attach screen shot to this mail, as that wouldn't help anything. My solution - I will work with SAFARI or SEAMONKEY instead and not use FIREFOX any longer.

How to apply CSS to a BC menu

I have done a lot of reading, gone to BC gurus, looked at Liam's post on Web Menu V2and I am still stumped on this one. The BC gurus tutorial and Liams' item were way above my head.
How do you apply CSS you have written to a BC menu?
I have set up a BC menu and put items in it. The menu type is CSS (HTML) Only
The menu items have a name, a page link Item Height of 30 and .menuLeft in the Item CSS Class Name
The template the menu is on is responsive and linked to a stylesheet with the CSS code below in it.
The menu is completely unaffected by the CSS in the stylesheet. All menu items have a dot in front of them, and look like the default link style for the site.
So the CSS below is not having any affect on the menu items. Why is this?
What basic, simple step have I missed here?
How do I get the menu in BC to notice the CSS below?
I have also tried making the CSS into an id #menuLeft and putting that into the Item ID Name field in each menu item. The CSS is still completely ignored. Why? (anguished cry)

The class is definitely .menuLeft and that is what is showing in the code. However, for the menu, only the line height set in the backend of BC is showing. All other styling in the CSS is ignored. By the way I have to have two CSS stylesheets as this is a responsive design using CCDW. You have to use a separate stylesheet to style body, links, headers and other items. I have done this in eternityfonts.css which is where the styling for the menu is. The webpage is using all other instructions from the eternityfonts.css file, including headers, links etc, but it is ignoring the menu styling.

How checkbox "Item Partners" at Tab:Item- partners been activated?

Dear Gurus,
           I've a problem informed by user. She told me that she would like to change Ship-to Party from A to B. So she has changed Ship-to Party from A to B at header of sales order. The Ship-to Party at header has been changed from A to B but not applied to item. The Ship-to Party at item level still has been A.
            I've checked the log of changes in sales order. She has changed only Ship-to Party at header. It should be applied to item as well, right? The configuration doesn't support changing partner functions at item level.
            I've investigated the order and found that there is tick in checkbox "Item Partners" at partner function "Ship-to Party" in item level. I think it should be the cause of this problem. But I've no idea how checkbox "Item Partners" at Tab:Item->partners been ticked. Could anyone can explain me how it works and how I can solve this problem?

You can change the ship-to-party at the item level also.It needs some configuration.
The path is:
SPRO>Sales and distribution>Basic functions>Parner determination>Setup partner determination.
In this click on "Setup partner determination for sales document item".
Click on partner determination procedure assignment.
Check what is the procedure assigned to your item category.
Click on Partner Determination procedures.Select your procedure and click on Partner functions in the procedure.
You will find ship-to-party there.Select that one and scroll right.There is a checkbox called as notmodifiable.It should be unchecked.If you want it to be mandatory then click on the checkbox mandatory.
Next click on partner functions.Select "SH" and scroll right.You will find a field called unique.Tick it if you want it to be unique.else untick it.

we have a tree and the nodes/items were binded to context with this code
lo_nd_nvccmp = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_nvccmp ).
lo_nd_tree = lo_nd_nvccmp->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_tree ).
lo_el_tree = lo_nd_tree->bind_structure( new_item = ls_tree set_initial_elements = abap_false ).
We want that the tree is expanded at a specific node/item?
The structure has the field is_expanded of type WDY_BOOLEAN. I think that if the field of the right structure is 'X' then the tree should expanded. How can we find the right structure in the context and change this field to 'X'?

Oh, apparently if you try that call right after you create
the Tree, it will throw a null reference exception. That might
count as a bug in the flex api...
If you create a Tree, and give it's dataProvider some xml
data, and then add it to the stage (addChild), and then you call
expandItem or expandChildrenOf() right after, you will get a null
object exception. You have to wait... for something. I don't know
what.
I even tried calling _tree.invalidateList() before the
expandItem, but it will still throw the error...
I wonder what the Tree needs to wait for? Is this a bug for
Adobe to fix?
