How can I acquire adobe software for my 1st generation iPad?
I was told that if I contact Adobe, they would help me obtain older software for my iPad that isn't allowed to update past 5.1.1.
How can I get them?
I sincerely doubt that's possible. The iOS operating system doesn't allow downloading older versions of software from the App Store, and software creators for the iOS are not allowed to distribute software outside of the App Store (except for testing purposes).

Looking at Adobe's site there is version 10.3 for Intel Macs running OSX 10.4 or 10.5. There is version 11 for Macs running OSX 10.6 or newer. Most web sites don't really need the newest FlashPlayer, but if you are trying to view one that really does intensive video then maybe it does require Flash 11. You aren't very specific as to which exact error message you are seeing.
If a site does require FlashPlayer 11 then you will have to upgrade your operating system. -

You can play flash content with various levels of success by downloading an alternate browser which users servers to convert the flash to ios compatible formats

You can't set a password for the Photos nor Mail apps, you can only set a passcode for your iPad as a whole (via Settings > Passcode).
There are third-party photo management apps such as Photo Manager Pro which you can copy your photos into from the Photos app (and then delete them from Photos), that app allows you (via its settings within the app) to set a password to access it.
For email you could access your email via a browser (and not have your password stored in the browser), or see if there are any email apps in your country's app store which have a password option -

You're talking about the original install disks? Call Apple and give them your serial number; I believe they have a nominal charge of around $20 including shipping (?). Or, if you Mac came with an earlier OS than Lion, you could also buy the retail Snow Leopard ($29) in case you want to downgrade.

If I buy a 3rd generation iPad now can I trade it in for a 4th generation iPad?
If I buy the iPad 3rd generation tomorrow if they are out of the 4th generation by the time I get there, can I still trade it in for a 4th generation iPad when they become available again even though I bough it on the 4th generation launch day? I am very impatient and I have waited many months while I saved up my money to get one and now that the 4th generation is out I figured I should just get that instead of an older one.
If you buy the old 'new' ipad and then return it, Apple reseller stores might have a no return policy because it is a discontinued product. Given that you saved money for a new ipad, if you can't get one tomorrow, save a little longer and buy one with more memory than you planned, because you cannot increase that.
Can you get to a store before they open tomorrow? Check store websites to see when they go on sale. Or can you now order an ipad 4 on-line at Apple. Then, if you buy one tomorrow, cancel the on-line order.
There has been no announcement that the ipad 2 is also being discontinued, yet the old 'new' ipad is discontinued. That says something. If you have to wait, I suggest you do that to get an ipad with a faster processor and hopefully avoid the wi-fi connection problem that some have had with the old 'new' ipad.

You may be able to get the last compatible version of the App for your iPad if the Developer has one available.

You may need to download the newest version to a compatible device first using the same Apple ID or to a computer running iTunes again using the same Apple ID. Then you should be given the option to download the latest compatible version for your First generation iPad when you tap on the install button in the App store on your iPad. -

My itunes library suddenly that the file "iTunes Library.itl" does not appear to be a valid iTunes library file. iTunes has created a new iTunes library and renamed this file to "iTunes Library (Damaged)". I use an external hard drive for my Itunes.
