How can I create an application in MSVC 6.0 to access my FieldPoint modules with CVI 5.0 libraries?

I have an application in CVI 5.0 that works. I am trying to export that so I can develop in MSVC. I need none of the UI provided in CVI, all I need are the simple FieldPoint commands provided in FieldPoint.obj. I have been stumped on this for weeks. I would write my own OPC client but the interface isn't even documented on what commands I would send if I did have an interface. I would prefer just to use the CVI libraries in MSVC 6.0. When I call the FP_Open function the program crashes with an RtlSizeHeap error.

In theory, creating a dll that encapsulates the FieldPoint functions should work in MSVC. However, National Instruments has not tested MSVC interface, nor have we publicized that this type of setup will work, therefore making support unavailable. The other reason for why we do not offer support of FieldPoint in MSVC is that we have not seen a demand for such an interface. Therefore, I recommend that you create an OPC Client that communicates with the FieldPoint OPC Server. One example of such an OPC Client in MSVC is to use Datasockets, found in ComponentWorks++. I have an application which has all of its functionailty available on screen as buttons or fields. This works very well at the moment. However when I create and run the application I see a men bar appears nuch the same as when deisgning the application namely, "File, Edit, Operate, Tools,, Browse, Windows, Help". I really don't want them to appear at all as everything is already catered for on screen. I have looked at the menu vi's but it is not clear how I can simply not have a menu bar.

Please look up for *.desktop file structure, all you need to do is create a /usr/share/applications/komodo.desktop file with the appropriate content. You can start with any other desktop file as template.

You can make a PDF file out of you notes and handouts but using the Adobe PDF printer.
Open your PowerPoint Document then go to “File” “Print”
Select ‘Adobe PDF” Printer
Under slides, select which way you want to print. Note it will not print to a printer but to a PDF file.
After then go into printer Properties and Setup PDF properties, do the following: (see second image below)
Default: PDF/A 1-b
Adobe Security: none (change as needed)
Adobe Output folder: Prompt for Adobe file name
Adobe Page size: Letter (change as needed)
Check the following check boxes
View Adobe PDf Results,
Add Document Information,
Rely on system fonts only,
Delete Log files for successful jobs.
Select OK
A pop will ask you where you want to save the document. The file extension should be PDF. After giving the file name select okay and the file should popup as a PDF. Down side is if you want to speaker notes included then you will have to do another file, like wise with just screen shots then combine into one PDF document.
I used Acrobat IX Pro. So to do this you need Acrobat IX or X Pro.

So my question is that how can i create Data Source i have goggling and find two different way to do this.

We just get the Developer Suite 9i package and we're trying to test our application with this software.

Oracle9i Forms is web-only. Forms 6i is the last release of Forms to have client/server and character mode.
You can test Forms from the Builder by installing iDS. To deploy Forms using iAS follow the documentation. It's all there in the deployment guide.

I'm looking to create an application prototype that creates a database dynamically and can delete it programatically. Is openDatabase/removeDatabase what I'd want to use for that?
So far, the Direct Persistence Layer is an amazing piece of technology and has the potential to make my team's application faster than we every though possible, so kudos to the author.
I've built a high-security application using the DPL and a single database for hundreds millions of users. I'd like to attempt to create a database for each user for security and manageability purposes. Our mission statement doesn't allow us to execute queries for sensitive data across more than one user account at a time, so I don't get any benefit from having every user's objects in a single database. I'm investigating if giving each user their own database will speed up insert times and SecondaryIndex queries. It'll certainly be more secure as each database will be encrypted with a unique password.
My design is that I have an app with dozens of com.sleepycat.persist.model.Entity beans which I persist and query on their Primary and secondary indexes. I've been accessing things through an EntityStore as illustrated in the Getting Started Guide. Can I access a database created with openDatabase through an EntityStore and com.sleepycat.persist.PrimaryIndex?

Well, a pop up menu is not like a tool bar, but you can find one example here.
In general, if you want the menu to open more screens, you will need to create and call those as subVIs.
If this still doesn't help you, I suggest you explain your problem in more detail, and maybe post a screenshot of the what you want to get (no BMPs, please).
To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try searching this site and google for LabVIEW tutorials. Here and here are a couple you can start with. You can also contact your local NI office and join one of their courses.
In addition, I suggest you read the LabVIEW style guide and the LabVIEW user manual (Help>>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf).

You could use the LabVIEW NI Example Finder (Help --> Find Examples..(search item "file")) to get an overview about the different file-formats in LabVIEW.
